I know here in Arizona we sent fire fighters as well as Nevada firefighters to help. They probably have fire fighters from all over the US. Amazing human heroes that go running toward the fires while the instinct of us lay people is running away from the fire. God Bless them all and all the people helping to feed them and all the displaced families. So sad 😢 and California leadership needs to be held responsible. 👍

They as well as CAL FIRE that manages state and private forest lands, do controlled burns and cut undergrowth and remove fallen trees. This was not a forest fire. Just look at the terrain in the news clips. It is very steep hills in a shrubland of chaparral that is bone dry from not having rained in months. You can't really remove those shrubs but you wouldn't want to anyway, they hold the soil in place. When the Santa Ana winds started all it took was a spark. No one knows as yet what started the Palisades fire (the one we typically talk about) but it could have been downed power lines from the wind. This is not an area for controlled burns. California has over 1300 reservoirs and 1400 dams. No one is letting water simply run to the ocean. Governor Pat Brown, Jerry Brown's father built the California Aqueduct. These talking points are from your con man in chief, all lies.
