I am quite addicted to this man (and VoicePlay) to the point that i think my husband is jealous. Which he is right to be! However, I am 64 so I think the point is quite moot!
The sole reason I got into voiceplay was because of geoffs voice I obviously watch them for more than that now but I don't think I would have gotten into voiceplay that much if it wasn't for him the first time I ever heard him was when I listen to this is Halloween by voiceplay and you guessed it it was Halloween and I just decided to listen to some Halloween songs and that was the first thing that popped up and instantly I loved voiceplay
@@KaeblieDesign that was the song that made me decide that geoff is my favorite base singer and one of my favorite singers in general and hey kaeblie I hope you have a great day and to everyone reading this comment I hope you have a great day to and if your not ill send nothing but good prayers to you
11:09 I didn't expect that sound to come out of him! (😄🤣😂 dead of laughter) The song Elvira was great seeing him do the bass to it! I have to say his rang Blows my mind!!! All these are amazing and fun!
I don't feel anything when there is ASMR but I feel it when Geoff sings. Also how cute is it how his face lights up when he sees his wife and son. He just gets better and better with age. Like a fine wine

This was awesome!! 4:55 his face and retort to the "That was weird" line were too funny!! I'll echo the suggestions for some Headless Horseman and Monster Mash, as well as clips from his narrations, maybe in a Halloween themed one, as was suggested.
I love Geoff's voice. When I first heard him sing, I melted. Sorry to the Mrs. Then I would start hearing him and the others more and more. I now truly appreciate the whole Voice Play vibe. They really get into their music. Each Video clip is a masterpiece. I am looking forward to when I can see the whole group in person. Also looking towards the day when I can finally support them via a patreon subscription. I can hardly wait. ******** I finally remembered when I heard Geoff sing first. It was a short tutorial about how to sing the low notes. Then next thing I remember is the explosion on YT and Voice Play's music. I addicted.
Pretty much same. Though also then seeing bits of Kathy and Geoff together was immediately relationship goals. Also I have come to realise why I got so hooked on Voiceplay even tho I didn't dive THAT deep in when I found PTX years prior... it's not any of their voices, not even Geoff's, but instead it's the arrangements. Because VP alternates between blending their voices perfectly as if they are one and completely distinguishing them and highlighting the differences. And always handing the solo round and round between group and individuals. Even in Hellfire, where Geoff literally plays Frollo, the others still take over the lead for parts. That's what keeps it interesting to me - that and that they truly make the songs their own. It's not so much as "this Song got covered" and more "we created a cover based on this song" if you know what I mean. For example... PTX has a cover of Bohemian Rapsodie that, while beautiful, I could not help but feel missed an opportunity. During the Galileo call and response thing, I think VP definitely would have opted for low bass. And I wanted to hear that. PTX stayed Baritone instead. And that is fine... but it could have been more. Avi can sing really low as well. But when he gets the solo, for most songs he's singing high... they don't put as much variety into the lead vocals as VP does, I feel like. It's not like that isn't beautiful but more... how do I put it. It lacks uniqueness compared to the non-acapella music? Since the lead is usually high and the bass in the background. Which, for instruments is completely reasonable because you want the vocals front and center, but in an acapella group you have to have a bass anyway - let them be center stage every now and then, and rearrange the music so they can. It's a wow factor because it is DIFFERENT from mainstream. And given the vast variety of instruments, you need to take advantage of things like that to make acapella truly stand out beyond just "oh it's impressive they can replicate instrumentation". Replica can only get you so far, but if you dive into "they are doing what an instrument cannot" that's where you have no limits.
bro i was already in love with this man why you gotta make him even more adorable with all his bloops. I NEED MOAR BLOOPS. sorry no im cool tho. im good.
Fantastic, thanks for this! Anything Geoff related is watched and listened to by me but if I had to suggest something, it would be the little bit of dancing in Monster Mash by wolfman Geoff. Those hip wiggles make me smile every time! 🙂👍
Man why did this have to go by so fast. I already want more. On a serious note, I absolutely loved this compilation of moments and appreciation. You could add anything from his solo work cause I’m sure there’s something funny there, or acrimpapella (vp’s first main video). I got no other ideas lol.
How about Geoff's little dance in the kichen in Still Alive , (Portal) , I love that. You might like a clip from Sing-Off Season 4 Episode 2 (6) - VoicePlay - Play That Funky Music. :) Not ofren seen.
It's funny cuz at first I thought you meant the crazy bulging eyes from the boogie clip 5:24 and then I realised you prbly mean the hair stroke at 5:20... And the my mother told me with the victorious fist clench that is shoved in between would also fit 😂 4 seconds of Geoff matching listener's expressions
You should use whole Oogie Boogie song. :D It's perfect in view of music and with video it's absolutely MASTERPIECE. And I don't have one favourite scene in this compilation. There is too much of it. 😂❤
What fun! Thanks for putting this together. Where did you find the clip of him dancing at 6:00? Suggestions for part 2 and more: A. A seasonal group, with clips from the various Christmas songs VP has done. Geoff sings lead on Baby It's Cold Outside, and VP has released several other holiday songs. More from Mr. Grinch. Also from his solo, God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen. Could also do a Halloween theme, with clips from the four songs from NBC. You had clips from three but I didn't see any from This is Halloween. Geoff is an awesome vampire. And at least his evil laugh from Headless Horseman, and clips from Monster Mash. B. Clips from more recent releases, such as Dream On. That incredible opening of Dragonborn Comes. Geoff's bass solo in Enemy that goes sky high, his evil laugh, and the amazing glissando down into the cellar near the very end. Any number of moments from Ain't No Sunshine. His riff up and then drop in If I Were A Rich Man. Big Bad John. 16 Tons. Shenendoah. His reaction to Cesar's "Kill the Witch!" in Wicked. And you are really, really going to want clips from his cover of Way Down when it's available. He dances like Elvis and hits a jaw-dropping low C. C. Clips from older stuff, like hitting an A5 in Grace Kelly with Toxic Audio. "Why can't we be friends?" from the Road Trip skit. His human gjallerhorn bit in My Mother Told Me. His riff in Tennessee Whiskey. Petting Earl's beard in a different Elvira performance before he sings the last notes. Biting Layne's carrot (there are several). "Keep on Surviving" from Survivor: Hillbillies vs Zombies. The end of Be Our Guest. The opening of Can't Help Falling In Love and Bridge Over Troubled Water. Getting hit in the face with chalk or paint in Look What You Made Me Do (with PocketWatch). Grim Grinning Ghosts. Beatboxing in Death of a Bachelor. Costumed silliness in The Fox. Live performance of Boy Bands where he's "the old guy."
If you want to go back to 2013, check out Beetlejuice's Graveyard Revue at Universal Studios.
