I actually enjoy the boss focused gameplay Old contra games used to do that a lot, all stages were run and guns but instead of minions u had like 3 mini-bosses and one final boss Check Contra Shatered Soldier (ps2) or Contra Hard Corps (sega) for some examples
The kicker is…he raged on simple difficulty. SIMPLE DIFFICULTY. Imagine how much shit he’ll break on regular difficulty especially when he fights the late game bosses😭

Poof here’s a couple tips for ya. The super you got from the mausoleum is there. You just have to equip it. You can use a super when all cards at the bottom are full or you can just use a bigger attack with only one card. You can also parry any pink items and will receive one card from it. Get chaser, smoke bomb and a extra life for your first items as those will help you out the most. Good luck beating them all on regular and looking forward to the next episode!! Ps maybe use a controller too as it’s a bit easier.

Simple difficulty is like Skipping the level. Beating it on Simple helps you unlock more Run N Gun levels to get coins and pay for powers. These powers will help you on Regular difficulty for the next time you play those stages, which is what the Simple difficulty was for, in case you wanted to get more coins.

You have unlimited ammo so never stop shooting. 3. Learn how hotboxes work. 4. Equip your supers, and in shop buy Spread, Roundabout, Smoke Dash, and Coffee and equip them. 5. Use the dash function. Smoke dash makes it so you don’t take damage when you dash. This game is fast paced, so it’ll take time to get used to. I’ve been playing for about a year, and although I have not fully 300% the game yet, I’ve beaten most bosses on Expert. That’s about it.

The Root Pack imo is the perfect tutorial boss, and I like the fact that you can spare Weepy (That's the Onion that Accompanies Moe Tato and Psycarrot)'s life and a turnip appears during the Psycarrot fight. Goopy Le Grande is one of my favorite bosses in this game because he is so polite to you at the beginning with him tipping his hat. Ribby and Croaks have recently been confirmed for the new show which I am DEFINITELY hyped for and I like the Street Fighters reference they make and their final form Cribby. But Hilda Berg is just as stubborn as she is talented. I mean, she can turn into a constellation of Taurus, Gemini and Sagittarius without issue, summon tornadoes to her pleasure, and even turn into the freaking moon? That cosmic Betty Boop sure packs a lot of firepower! But it is a shame we didn't get to see Cagney Carnation in this episode. That idle dance is fire.

I'm not mentioning Baroness Von Bon Bon because she is my favorite from isle 2 and she is easier than it looks imo. Its isle 3 where the real pain occurs.
