I appreciate your sharing your thoughts on what you are and aren't willing to buy out of respect for original puzzle makers. I have seen alot of people owning things like the sheng shou 8x8, but I believe I will hold out for V-cubes. If it weren't for Verdes we would have never seen the first 6x6 or 7x7 and I for one plan on supporting them. Thanks again for your thoughts and i look forward to your next video.
I can try, but I should say that the puzzle, although beautiful and scrambles nicely, is quite rigid and difficult to move at times, and is subject to popping. I'm going to play around with the tension and lubrication, and then I'll see what I can do. In the meantime, I may put out a video of edited content after part 2, as I had more footage of the Elite Kilominx for part 2, but I had to edit it out as it was going too long, even for me!
Nice video on top of my previous comment and that alg was exactly what i was looking for when I asked that one time about a flippimg algorithm. I had one that accomplishes the same thing but was probably eight or nine moves instead of the 5 in this one. So I will definitely be replacing my old move withis this one so I can get faster.
I do own the 8x8x8, and 9x9x9 and the 11x11x11. The upcoming Octophobic will demonstrate how to navigate the centers of the giant cubes. In a world of unsure production of higher order V-cubes, KO puzzles are a good way of obtaining potentially quality samples of until now unavailable cubes to collectors. When available, I will buy any and all V-cube higher order puzzles, even if I own KO puzzles, to support them.
Do you own anything larger than a 7x7 in a regular cube? I have one KO 11x11 and centers on it are beast especially the last two sets. Plus how do you feel about KO cubes, I felt I had to have this 11x11, but I almost refuse to buy other existing sizes that V-cubes has made possible, it just feels wrong to me.
That's a good one, and yes, I do have some tips for you! Hang in there, and I'll post a tutorial on that one in the next few days, so we'll get that beast solved for you :)
Interesting thought! Remember, though, a 2x2x2 by definition doesn't have a center or edges. As the the 4x4x4 does have these parts, it requires reduction to the simplest form of puzzle with centers and edges, which is a 3x3x3. But I'll look into it.
I don't know if there's anyway you can help with this, but sudoku cube? I've had mine since easter but I cant get it. I've probably tried to solve it 70 times, but I don't think I'll ever get it by luck. I know it's just like a 3x3, so that's why I don't know that you have any tips for us.
Ha! I think she decided that my collection was complete 20 puzzles ago! But don't worry cheesefarts91 (another name I can't say without laughing!), the collection video is making it's way to us, and the wait will be...worth it!
In my Tower Power series part 4, I use the 2x2x4 to demonstrate odd/even symmetric cuboids. Check it out and see if it helps at /watch?v=ALd5KiJV4jQ If you need more focused clarification let me know, and we'll go through it :)
Me too, but if someone wants both a gigaminx and a master kilominx in one puzzle, then the 12 colored or sticker less version of this puzzle is the one to get. With a gigaminx being over $60, you could save quite a bit.
people always get parity when you reduce even layer to odd layers (4 to 3 layer) why don't you try to reduce a 4x4x4 into a 2x2x2 will there still be parity??? do you think it would faster??? please try this in viewer request week???
Out of respect for Rubik's brand providing the first cube, I will only buy the 2, 3, 4 and 5 layer puzzles from them. Out of respect for Verdes at breaking the 5 layer barrier, I will only by the 6 layer version from them, and any subsequent higher layers to follow. Out of appreciation for providing mass produced non pillowed 7, 8, 9 and 11 layer puzzles, I will buy those should they become available before the V-cube, and then buy the V-cube versions once their available.
You are the Best!!!!! I learn so much from your channel......Best regards sr
Nice! You're always so helpful!!!

At 31:58 I was like:"AAARRGGH WOOW OMG"I didn't know you had an elite kilominx! I really like how you included it in your master kilominx video ;D

thanks for the video. if its not so much to ask, can you make an elite kilominx video somewhere in the future
I’m wondering, is it possible to do a reduction solve to a kilominx (like reduce a 4x4 to a 2x2) or is it impossible with a 12 sided puzzle?
When you going to make a cube collection video?

can you please make 2x2x4 tutorial ?
Actually, that's a good point. Nothing like two puzzles in one :)
THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH.
Ah, the force is strong with this one...
Please make a demonstration video about it !!!
Thanks Milan. I actually had more footage of it that I was going to include in part 2, but the video was going too long, even for me :)
If you have the 12 colored master kilominx you can solve it and avoid parity because the hidden center piece is colored. It's like a 2 in 1 puzzle.

Hey i snaped my fingers to try and scramble my cube and all my cubes in the room got scrambled

Where did you get the Elite Kilominx from?
Rawcoder87 speedcubeshop

Hmm, that's interesting. I think I prefer the challenge of not knowing the centers, though.
I think he will make a collection when his wife decides his puzzle collection is complete =) just kidding Jon!! haha
thank you for your attention to me
Just wait until you see the mess we get into with some more shapeshifters :)

I got this from none other the Gregoire Pfenning!
Wow!
I know this is an old video and am not sure if you realized this but... GIGaminx, not JIGaminx. (Sorry, but pronunciation's a pet peeve pf mine.)
GAH and i though my 5x5 looked like a mess when it was scrambled...
