    I have also build a beledros deck and I won a game the other day by casting a Torment of Hailfire for x = 94

      @Josh Everly, that is what the deck was built for!

    I was unsure of how to make a deck with beledros, but so far your deck is what convinces me.

    beledros is my first commander deck ive ever made when i first learned how to play so im glad i kinda got the token stuff right but after watching this i fee llike im playing the deck wrong lmao, is it bad i use Yavimaya and Urborg lands?

  • @BassManXD1

    I think you read "pest infestation" wrong. When you cast mana into it, you destroy X artifacts/enchantments, and you make X x2 pests. So if you sink 2 into the X (so 4 lands in total) you make 4 pests.

    • @BassManXD1
      @BassManXD1 3 года назад +2

      Unless you're counting the green as part of the mana sink, then that would be my bad

    • @vex_mtg
      @vex_mtg 3 года назад +1

      @Craigus, I believe I was counting the green as part of the mana, it's all good though, thanks for the comment.

    You should build a deck tech on Atla Palani, eldrazi/big monsters.

      @Alex Upton, it's on the list!

    i suggest craterhoof or beastmaster ascension. They're great finishers

    • @vex_mtg
      @vex_mtg 3 года назад +2

      @rodolfo augusto, completely agree, I would suggest including those if you have them. I just wanted to have deck techs without always showing Craterhoof.

    Jungle hollow
    I love that land, its needed in any golgari life gain deck.
    Was doing a 3way game and my opponents were running a blue green and a blue white decks. I dropped a tsunami an destroyed their islands really pissing them off. They didnt think I was a threat until that cause my deck was far from complete.
    Next turn they both joined together to fuck me up and started tearing me down. Dina was my commander. I then dropped exquisite blood then tapped jungle hollow for that 1 bit of life gain.
    And that is my story how I beat a top 2000 mtg arena player using a land lol. I felt so good after that cause it was blind luck that exquisite blood was the next card I drew. Cause with their combined onslaught I was not making it to my next turn hahaha

      @Adam Cappella, that's a sweet victory! I knew that land was useful in life gain decks! (And Tsunami, bold card choice!)

    Great deck I have the same one but it doesn’t work as well.

    • @vex_mtg
      @vex_mtg 3 года назад

      @Burnt Toast, don't sell your deck short just yet, maybe do a couple of tweeks and your decks should be running on all cylinders.

    • @burnttoast2615
      @burnttoast2615 3 года назад +1

      Well I fixed it up a little and my deck is quite similar to yours except I am running a chain of smog and professor onyx combo along with witherbloom apprentice just because I like the combo. And I added tend the pests with blood researcher and daemogoth woe-eater. And for token creation I have creakwood liege and mycoloth Instead of your avenger of zendikar and dryad. I took out sanguine bond and kept exquisite blood. It feels like there should be more life gaining here I’m just not sure what would work best.

    10:30 I don't think you can do that. I think they pay the ward cost before the spell resolves, not when they target your permanent. Priority doesn't get passed between them paying the three life and their spell resolving.

    • @vex_mtg
      @vex_mtg Год назад

      Ward is a triggered ability and triggered when you target and the spell is on the stack. So yes, you have to pay for it in order for your spell to resolve.
