Hey i saw this guy the last week that central line tunnel in Tottenham court road station and wondered who he was! Didnt realise I would find him online!
For buskers in London, how do you go about getting the licence or placement to busk? I'm an Australian who will be going to London in one week for a holiday, and I would love to do some busking while I'm there, as I am bringing my guitar for a few gigs while I'm in London. :) I'm Jasmine Scholz on Facebook if you would like to find me!
I read you only need a license in Camden, some other borough, and the underground but that you don't need one in general for most of London. Can anyone confirm?
i worked out at 40 pounds a day to live sleep and shower in a tiny box bedsit in london i need 40 times 365 time 30 years 450 000 pounds thats nearly half a million pounds to slepp shower and spend to live for the last thirty years of my life IT MAKES YOU WANDER WHY ANYONE EVERY FOUGHT OR DIED FOR THIS LAND INCLUDING MY GRANDFATHER ROYAL ARTILLERY AND UNCLE COMMANDER BRIAN NEEDHAM OF NUCLEAR SUBMARINES FOR HMS DOLPHIN
OK he is trying to make a living - I live on my own & pay a friend that works very hard £15.00 per hour -should he just give up & earn more on the streets begging
Busking is not begging. Begging does not give anything to the public. Real talent deserves to be rewarded, holding a sad story on a piece of paper does not. Besides, 15 an hour is pretty good and busking is not what you see on camera, it's a lot tougher than you'd think. I spent several years as a busker before taking up a job, and let me tell you, 90 hours a week of work was often less though than busking
I think you should seriously consider rethinking your outlook. Can you perform music to a level that people are willing to listen to? I'm going to bet that no, you don't have it in you therefore you throw shade at people trying to make an honest buck. Jealousy is a terrible thing Susie. It takes years and years of graft to get good enough to perform to a decent standard. I suggest stop hating and start playing, then you'll see how hard the life of a musician can be. A lot harder than smashing out hateful rhetoric on the internet.
Victor Jones having made a living here and round Europe for the last 34 years entertaining people with music in the streets I have to say what a jumped up little monkey spanker you are. I doubt you even have 1% of the talent needed to make a living as a busker. THOSE THAT CAN DO...... THOSE THAT CANT CRITICISE......
all your talking about is money what ever happened to the music and real musicians origional up beat happy music which is worth 50 p a person walking by after a few hours
my highest is 120 in an hour pretty darn proud 😂
