My favorite story was of RM on vacation I believe it was the US after the LA concerts (post-COVID lockdown). He had done like a road trip across southern US visiting some small art galleries. Some fans saw RM at the airport and instead of rushing up to him, they hid their BTS merch from their carry-on bags because they knew he was on his private time. He was not RM he was Namjoon just going home. So much respect. A chance of a lifetime to meet their idol and they let it go so he could be a private person just traveling home. Isn't that amazing! So much love.😂💜💗🧡

@@M.L.V.C. They recognized him from the side as they were walking behind him. They were already taking video of the airport as part of their trip when they spotted him. When they realize it was RM, they hurried to hide their merch just in case he happens to look their way. However, at no time was RM made aware that they were ARMY. I looked for the video but could not find it again. It was a brief encounter.
I think it was a photo of a fan holding the mearch behind the back the photo is taken so you see the back of RM and if I remember correctly the photo was posted some days later after it was taken so nobody else would know at the time. I think it was in a video about the army it was shown in.

Hi dear. 69yo ARMY here. A number of those clips were from their 2019 MMA Awards show performance. This is widely considered to be one of their best live performances. It is said that BTS spent 3 million on the production and the performance lasted around 35 minutes. It's a must watch for reactors.
NOTES - JImin's performance wearing that white outfit is epic and iconic. THAT one girl they singled out on stage was dancing to one of BTS's songs "Fire". The female Kpop had a blanket on her. Their dresses are so very short. If they are photographed from the wrong angle, you might see something. Also, they are so skinny. Wearing clothes that exposes most of their skin...they get cold. For the most part, BTS does not give out autographs in public. And they will not let you take a pic with them. What happens. People then sell those on Ebay to make lots of money. If they are in a closed environment like backstage at the Grammy's, they might give out an autograph to a star's child. I think JK gave Usher an autograph for his son. Again, with these short compilations you like to watch...you ask what was that? It's so hard to explain in full because the clips are so much better in context. We love to hear you laugh, but you're confused at what is going on a lot. I know the context of all those clips because I've seen the whole video. These are just the editors opinion on what they thought was funny. But they have watched the whole video and forget new people like you havent.

Yes, a lot of these compilation videos are edits so don’t expect to see all these amazing reactions if you watch performances at award shows. Some idols will show a reaction- but it is usually mild, but most don’t. In fact a lot will not even clap for them after a performance. A lot of fan wars start, and fake dating rumors start like this. That is why you see very little eye contact or acknowledgment between BTS and any female idols.
And at these award shows, they have lap blankets or pillows on the chairs for the female idols to cover their laps, since most wear such short, tight clothes, and there is so much press there taking photos and films.
Female K-POP idols are required by their stylist to wear these short-short dresses. To protect the idols for naughty cameras, there are usually lap blankets provided by the venue to protect the privacy.
I strongly recommend watching the MMA 2018 and MMA 2019 performance. The MMA 2018 one is with Jimin dancing like an angel. And the 2019 is Idol, with Korean influences and again, j-hope, Jimin, Jungkook being amazing!

All of these aren’t actually at BTS concerts, they’re at award shows for kpop artists in general, usually it’s the end of year ones where artists use their best time and money to present their newest songs in the best stage and performance. But BTS being BTS is just their average selves, usually goofing off during fun songs or being silly during any encore presentations.
But also as a side note it’s better to watch videos from ARMY channels mainly. You can usually tell because they have a member’s name or joke in theirs like Seokjinmyfeels as an example. A lot of KPOP-generic channels to tend use a lot of the same videos and/or have less funny or enjoyable videos because they don’t usually tend to do research or care much for the members in general. They tend to only care for the views BTS gives them, which is why most of the fandom will recommend you videos instead of having you search for them, we want you to enjoy the boys like how we enjoy them, not because they’re giving others content. Especially if you’re ending up making comments like “I see this a lot/often”, you have practically 10 years worth of content to get through, you shouldn’t be repeating it that much! 😂
No no nesto these clips are for real. You haven't seen any of bts's MMA award shows yet. They are unbelievable! Their performance last about 40 minutes. The 2019 performance is the most popular with reactors. Army keeps asking you to show it because we want to see your reaction. Be prepared you might need a pillow and some water because your mouth is going to be stayed gaped open. There hasn't been any reactors who weren't totally shocked.
A BTS song that will make me cry every time is "Blue and Gray". It's lyrics written by V when he says he was at his lowest point made me feel like I wasn't alone in my own lonelydarkness. Singing it while sobbing for me was cathartic, it helped me start healing and they saved my life (literally). Please react to it. 💜

When they were filming the vacation series Bon Voyage... JHope learned to say... "Sorry... Important Business" whenever people recognized them and asked for a picture. He said it so cutely that no one got upset. They couldn't do pictures while filming and of course they were supposed to be on vacation. I remember commenting on the episode in Weverse... "JHope... If you ever tell me "important business" that cutely... I will be fine with not getting a picture because at least you said something cute to me! 🤣💜

Next week Jin comes home. Many will honor him by reacting to many of Jin's solo song performances. I forget. Have you seen "The Astronaut"? If not. Its a MUST see. And then Jin debuts the song live at one of Coldplay's concerts. Watch that and Behind the Scenes. Also, Jin starred as a guest on a TV show. I've never seen anyone react to it. Well, I actually saw JK in the flesh at the Incheon airport back on Nov 29th 2023 when he was on his way to the US to shoot Standing Next to You ...our gates were right next to each other. I was on my way back to Las Vegas along with 24 other Armys who visited Seoul, Busan and Daegu - yes to trace the steps of BTS for 2 weeks! I have the video (about 2-3 ft away from JK!!!) and still feel surreal about it. I did not know of his trip. Only Armys in our groups back in the US were telling me about it and even at the airport I could not believe it. I could have chased him but I did not. I did not fight for a spot to be close to him either. He literally passed by me! My daughter saw me in one of the RUclipsr's uploads for that JK trip. And yes I saw them on Permission to Dance Concert in Vegas in APril 2022. After that, I became a full fledged Army. I am stuck in this rabbit hole. Thank you for your reactions.

When we watch BTS on a show with live music they are reacting in same ways. I love seeing musicians honoring the work of other musicians. I don't know why some Idols/Artists try to hide that a great performance effects them. It is just natural. It is the reason why we listen to music.
The Idol Companies drop serious Won on the Award Shows. 2019, BTS has a Spectacular Performance that cost hundreds of thousands to produce. They essentially did a 40 minute Concert.

I know you would Love BTS doing Carpool Karaoke. And their Crosswalk performance. Both with James Corden. They are on at least 2 more of his shows. Watching the whole video instead of edited clips is so much better. BTS stars on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. In fact, Jimmy did a whole BTS week. And they appear on many other talk shows, too. They seem to excel and really entertain an audience in those settings.

Without doubt at some point and time you will want to watch MMA 2019. In fact, BTS performs every year at award shows and they capture the audience every year. But that year was extra special. Before you watch it I would highly advise you to watch performaces of all the songs so you can recognize them on the award show.
Because they do amazing remixes of BTS songs on award shows. Do some research and find out what those songs are. Or maybe one of your subscribers would provide a list for you. Or go in cold. Your choice. But again you would have so many questions.
Now you should watch their performance at MAMA 2019. When BTS turned an awarding show into their own concert. 😂

I know everyone will recommend MMA 2019, it's a true, epic performance! But... I highly recommend watching songs from the setlist BEFORE! Unfortunately there are no subtitles for the performance and knowing songs beforehand really helps appreciate the show better!

The girl had a pillow on her lap. Idols often have pillow or blanket on these award shows because 1) the temperature can be very low in these venues (so they often have heating pads too) 2) girls' skirts often very short and while they always have shorts underneath, they use blanket or pillow to cover themselves while sitting.

As others have stated, the pillows and lap blankets are for the girls to use for the sake of modesty. Their skirts are often not appropriate for sitting in. Occasionally you will see vid clips of male idols retrieving blankets and handing them to the girls.
Also, yes the fan edits are often reaching. But some of these later gen idols literally idolize BTS. For instance, Park Ji-Hoon (at 12:06 - soloist, actor, formerly of Wanna One) is a huge fan of V.

16.3K 🎉!!!! U R the greatest to call out on the edits! Which are entertaining but sadly some especially the vulnerable take as gospel. The ship ones are THE best though. Amazes me how 1 video depending on the edit will have Jimin for example w/ each member and there is either a flirt fest or jealous row. They are fun but you have to take them for what they are. Entertainment and for some brilliant editing. For the close up shots caught, I tell them to do some good and go fund some missing children or something eagle eyes that caught the 1 second hand in a questionable place. Just close eyes, mouth and back away closing the door.
