When I used VocalSynth 1 a co-worker was listening to this group of kids who were singing out of tune and off beat. I had synched the vocals by hand and it just sounded ugh. Co-worker "Somethings are not recoverable." I said let me try this demo. I hit vocoder heard it for 2 seconds I immediately got up and walked away basking in my glory. It totally saved the project.
I was able to buy iZotope's creative Suite for $200 during a sale. It came with VocalSynth 2, Iris 2, Breaktweaker, Trash 2, Stutter Edit, etc..... If I was you I'd wait for that sale again instead of just getting Vocal Synth for $200
There are very few plugins these days that are unique.... However, this iZotope VocalSynth 2 plugin, might just be the additional one I “need” to add to my plugins collection 👍 Awesome 😎
I've been wanting this plugin for months, I'm more of am instrumentalist but still do vocal work and this would seriously keep me engaged and creative. Especially for the pop and RnB tracks. Ozone as well is looking like an ace lately
A lot of pop/dance tunes over here in the USA have done similar stuff for a long time, but not exactly the same and I dont know how they did it. Nice plugin but I'm trying to figure a use for it.
I'd recommend Madrona Labs' Virta since you liked this effect so much, but it's got a bit of a learning curve before you can get a musical sound out of it, due in part to its modular nature. If you prefer plug-ins that offer immediate results with just one click, it might not be a good match for you. There's a free demo, however, and you don't have to do anything special to get it.
Vocal synth 2 and Softube Oto Biscuit currently on sale at Plugin Boutique for around $50-60 each. helluva deal IMO; I imagine those two would be amazing together.
Love how excited you get about this! I think the name misleads people, it’s really an audio processor not a synth - try running a bassline through it and see what happens.
Jeff Manchester from the RUclips channel Manchester Music works for iZotope, he might be a good person to contact for a review copy. Also each module has its own "engine" that you can select from a dropdown menu, you should test those out as well.
I've been hesitant to get this but I think I might now. I know that you're typically critical of isotope you tend to say that they are either b******* or they really got something and the last review you did was ozone 9 and I bought ozone 9 advanced because of your review and I love it so I think I'm gonna get this
I use this plugin on my lead vocals all of the time. I like use the “sweet nothings” preset and slap it on a bus to give my vocals a little bit of a Travis Scott effect.
I know it's not very relevant, but am I right that the 'clean' vocal is a bit autotuned? 3:06 no judgement for the singer, just wondering wheter my ears are right
Dude, I honestly respect your opinion, but many things can ONLY be done with computers and they procesing power. I understand you do not produce music, and by produce I mean the whole process, creating a track from scratch. Ableton has "Shred" and vocoder FAR more powerfull FOR FREE in the DAW. Many of those things are a combination of plugins from any CREATIVE daw. They dont brought anything new judging from my experience, AS NONE OF the displayed plugins, they just do it easier which as you and I belive its not an option, easy equals not adaptative.
Your most positive reaction to a plug-in yet!
Bonjour my friend
It is the first time I see you so excited about a plugin
Cool

Nice plugin but I'm trying to figure a use for it.
hiding secret messages in tracks since knowing about phase cancellation :D
Good)
Can't wait your opinion about Manipulator vst (Polyverse Music & Infected Mushroom).
Hope it'll be soon)
I like how 3 knobs on the compuvox are named "bits", "bytes" and "bats" :D :D :D

here is the first talkbox which pretty works
Love how excited you get about this! I think the name misleads people, it’s really an audio processor not a synth - try running a bassline through it and see what happens.
Great tutorial. Buying right now for $49 sale
great !
If you do a review, can you try other instruments please! Love your channel

Would love to see you take a look at the PSP e27.
Oh my God, this is gonna be bad, and still here I am watching...
"I don't want a preset" ...lol. I feel the same every time I explore a new plugin.
Got the plug in just two minutes in to the video
the Talkvox.... Daft punk on a bottom. Awesome
Awesome !yet a little out of my price range.
There's another vocoder thing called Orange Vocoder by zynaptiq that sounds interesting.
Vocalsynth is dope I've been using it for a couple months now I'm very impressed with it
i like that you did not use presets. i have been ONLY using presets with this. nxt time i will experiment more.
Put in in the best track you got... from Darude! XD
I might get it! Looks perfect for psytrance!
I've been hesitant to get this but I think I might now. I bought this plugin
Rest is history
I have it, but I prefer simpler things.
I use this plugin on my lead vocals all of the time. I like use the “sweet nothings” preset and slap it on a bus to give my vocals a little bit of a Travis Scott effect.
Can I ask what your facial skincare routine is? Darude asked me to find out?
👏 👍
Can you do a snake oil for the Waves NLS plugin?
all waves are just snake oils
It's Vocalsynth 2
I know it's not very relevant, but am I right that the 'clean' vocal is a bit autotuned? 3:06 no judgement for the singer, just wondering wheter my ears are right
No, dont say Daft Punk when it comes to Vocoders. Say Kraftwerk :-)
7:14 That is not true, you use Fabfilter in your processes xD
Sneikoil?
vocalsyntzh 1 or 2?
It's vocal synth 2. MUCH better than thirst.
Not Sandstorm... Im shook!!!
But sandstorm has awesome vocal samples xD

did you hit your index finger with a hammer ? LOL
Bruh why do you put “snake oil??” In all your izotope vocal plugin video thumbails
oke je komt uit NL dat hoor ik
Ik weet dat u dit kan lezen ;)
You’re not a plugin guy? Then why have you gotten me to buy so many plugins?
see www.pluginboutique.com/deals (til 1/8/2020)
The modules in Vocalsynth didn't sound that good to me to be honest.
That sound has been sound in a million lousy records in the past 25 years. I can´t stand it!
This is GARBAGE.
