Years ago, I lived in London and went to all the afternoon tea spots. It's good to hear Fortnum and Mason's is still the best. Harrods is a tourist trap that everyone should experience at least once in their lives.
Wow, it must have been amazing to experience all those afternoon tea spots in London! ☺️ I completely agree, Fortnum and Mason’s really does have a special charm! Harrods is definitely a must-see, even if it can be a bit of a tourist trap-it’s such an iconic spot! ☕️
The tea looked devine to me on a screen! I have had lunch @ Harrods several years ago with my mother!! It was Devine also as well as the service which was impeccable! I would love to get there again & browse around the store in other departments! I am from Canada. A trip of a lifetime❗️
Nice video. I recall back in 1986, I recall I helped some rich person where his belt that he purchased from Harrods was seized by US Customs. I was able to retrieve. That belt had a value of $3,000.00 USD. Also at the 3:22 mark there is someone screaming, must have seen the bill.
Harrods is indeed very well known in the UK, a super mall which is visited by many tourists from foreign countries. and beautiful buildings. very post afternoon tea dear, enjoy your tea time. greeting and support 19.13
Come to India, u will get free tea invites everywhere. If u r a guest at someone's house it's the first thing u will get to drink and very tasty. U will find it in every corner and it's worth it 😂
Hi, the afternoon tea cost £124 for two. If you buy it from Virgin Experience Days (not an ad) you can get it for cheaper. It comes in at £110 and they often give extra discount off.
We just did this, but at 65 pnds a head, and coming from Australia, that's very expensive for what it is. 5 adults and two kids, over $1000 AUD. So, not value for money, add in the 12.5% service charge, and it's not worth it.
Fortnum & Mason and the Ritz I am told serve a very good afternoon tea. Visually the Harrods presentation does not look that wonderful. Harrods need to change the pianist for someone who plays something more relaxing. It matters not what comes first on a scone or 'scon' because jam and cream together is absolute bliss. As I live in Stroud, Gloucestershire, I am very unlikely to be visiting London again. But we have some good places to go for afternoon tea here in the West.
Nice. Have you got insta and TikTok?
Yes, my insta is instagram.com/emilylondon01/

It was a bit loud

Wow, the exchange rate doesn't help with that either does it. I hope you enjoyed your experience there though :)

Next time I'm in Gloucestershire I will definitely go for afternoon tea. Haha so right, jam and cream or cream and jam = AMAZING!
Dainty bites.. I just scoff it down... 😂
Haha, I try 😂
hi smyrne Hellas
We’re you given flatware, or you were forced to eat everything with your fingers?
In true afternoon tea style we ate the food with our fingers.
@@emilylondon haha!
OMG, why don't you simply go get a hamburger with nothing on it?
I don't understand how is it "easier" to eat a scone if you put the butter on top of the jam? xD WHyyyy people WHYYYY hahahah
😂
The piano playing was too loud! It was difficult to hear your comments.😮💨
