Way to go! Half marathons are such a fun distance...training doesn't completely consume your life like it does for a marathon and you usually have several miles at the beginning before it starts to hurt.
I pulled into a parking lot and took my seatbelt off before I put the car in park. A cop who was in the parking lot gave me a ticket for not wearing a seatbelt in a moving vehicle.. lolol

I have a half next Sunday then a full marathon the Sunday after. I like half marathons and Sunday's is local as is the full: both about an hours drive. Getting prepared for ones first full marathon is daunting but what a feeling to finish it! I'm not 'special' - just an ordinary runner - but I ran my first full marathon in 2012, I have now completed over 100, and that includes some short(sic) ultras, I've also run 50ish half marathons, my point? If I can run a full marathon, with a little more training so could the 2 of you! Also: your breakfast biscuit 'things' look like what we over here call scones! 🍪Happy days. 😁
