I agree... Anyone with disability should have access to these kind of chairs for a fraction of the cost.. They should make exceptions for people that are truly handicapped and or very poor..
The inventor deserves to make a good living for his/her invention but INSURANCE should cover it. That's what isn't right, that health insurance won't pay for great and NECESSARY items like this.
Thanks for the demo. I'm looking to buy something for my dad .... 98 years old still in his own home with minimal outside care! He's stating to need help with walking. This looks like the chair for him. Thanks again.

You mention "grocery shopping". Since your arms are busy, is it possible to push a shopping cart? (with knees or feet?) or just balance a small basket on the lap? Or could maybe hook something to pull one behind? Also have there been any issues scraping knuckles on doorways? I wish the control arms were in more. Thanks!
I'm not sure about the grocery but there is a basket underneath a bag or 2 can easily go there and you can even use your lap, you can easily pull something too it has the power...scraping knuckles I don't see it as an issue as the chair is nowhere near as wide as a door.
Chris, what is the best way for a person with limited strength to get the Zinger in and out of the back of a SUV? Perhaps a ramp? If so, which would be the best/easy use type to use?
Hey thanks for watching, Yes I ran would be the best way I don't use that I usually help my parents get around and when we go somewhere I just pulled a chair out and they could ride it research it go on Amazon I'm sure there's plenty ramps out there.. good luck
Where's the controller & can it go on either arm? What's the weight limit on it? Will it take two batteries? I do like the foot rest & carry bag. My portable chair had a setting that switches it from power chair to manual chair. Does this one do it too?
The company does have the option of a joystick control, leaving a hand available. It’s called Zoomer. I have been researching folding, lightweight chairs and scooters. Be sure to ask about insurance coverage.
You pulled the left handle up and the right handle down to go left and vice versa to go right there's a button for reverse there's another video we explained everything We have like four videos on this chair search for them on our channel and you'll see them.
I have 3 other videos of the Zinger..it may not show hallway turns but the thing turns 360 on a dime no other electric chair can do that therefore it's more than adequate.

Thanks Chris, i only wish this was more affordable, & that this company would have a 3rd party to be able to make affordable payments to. I checked on it after viewing your video, they do not have the affordable payment option yet. You must supposedly pay it in full. No can do at this time.
@@josie291662 I think it's very affordable in terms of what you're getting so many other electric wheelchairs cost more than double of this one and are not as good imo but everyone had a budget I understand.. Good luck..
Just getting into looking for a powered chair at 69 yo. Major heart surgery 11 years ago at Mayo Clinic, 5-back surgeries to fuse my back, both wrists CTS Surgeries, and multiple other surgeries over my lifetime has made a big mess of my skeletal system. Walking using a cane is very painful and really really really SLOW! I’m 6’0” and weigh 249 pounds. I’ve got to check out specs for this chair to be certain it will carry my weight. Still strong upper body but limited in turning and twisting at the wast. Another item is will Medicare pay part or all of the cost of this chair? Likely not since it was not mentioned, and that would be a great selling point. I’m fully disabled due to my heart disease. So, I will have to check these things out to insure what’s what concerning them. I must say Chris, your presentation was exceptional. No fluff and no high pressure selling points. That stuff turns me off! This is my first stop, so I need to learn more about this chair. BTW, I was a Commercial Pilot/Flight Instructor in both Airplane and Helicopters for over 40 years. Walked many ramps after flying 8 hours a day. So.... I have seen this ad in Flying Magazine and also in AOPA Magazine. Anyway, this would’ve saved my knees and feet in the day. Oh yes, I I had a (1) full knee replacement also. Now I would love to make trips to the Mall with my wife and family. But I don’t go because of the pain and suffering and lagging behind on such outings. Thanks again Chris.
Thx for watching..I wasn't trying to sell this to anyone I don't make them, I bought one for my parents from Zinger and they love it so I thought of putting a couple videos out for anyone who is contemplating buying a portable electric chair and this one IMO is amazing.

The Front Wheel should be not lest than 10 inch-sidewalk pot holes, and cracked concrete. You want to spend money for better wheel chair, keep in mind always the "FRONT WHEEL 10" " or better.
I don't sell this chair I only made a video cuz I liked it...just go to the website that I advertised on this video and in my description and you will see the prices.
I see no benefits to this chair. Being a polio victim with muscle weakness and then a broken neck that left me more weak and more disable, there is nothing to keep one from falling out. Too much reaching down low to maneuver the chair. Just not safe for a weak muscle person. A scooter with adjustable steering wheel and has arms on each side is way safer.
Chris Dallas Dualped I wasn’t looking to buy, I have all the right medical supplies after years of trying to find the suitable ones for someone that has upper and bottom weaknesses. Hi Chris -- Sorry I hit "dislike" -- after I finish this comment, I'll try to push "like" and see if it takes it. I had pushed dislike ONLY because the music was very very annoying -- so I could only stand to watch a few bits here and there. Otherwise, seems you did a great job of narrating and explaining the pros and cons of this chair. Looks terrific, but we need a chair that can be maneuvered with one hand, once the patient is in it. Thanks for doing this video!
1st of all, if you smoke, drink Coronas or like to wave to your friends as you encounter them you may as well forget all about this silly item. Imagine having to use every available extremity just to travel from any point to another. It's just silly to even consider such a limit. Now, this Zinger company also makes something called a Zoomer....same design but with a joystick . BRILLIANT! We never see that product advertised on TV though and I had to call the 800 number to point out their shortcoming with the Zinger to be told about the Zoomer which is a FAR SUPERIOR product, unfortunately the Zoomer and presumably the Zinger cost $2800.00 USD. A totally unrealistic price.
That's your opinion.. The Zinger IMO is way better..a lot of people hate joystick controlled wheelchairs and my parents could never learn to use them I bought them one but the Zinger on the other hand they got used to in just a matter of 5 minutes and not only that but their friends next door to them who also hated joystick controlled wheelchairs also purchased the Zinger due to its simplicity of the handles way easier to control and it's so precise I've tried both myself and it's much easier to manoeuvre than the joystick especially in tight places and worth every penny. There is no other chair on the market this light that you can take with you that can even go this fast all chairs are limited to 6km/h this thing hits 10km/h on the fastest mode but if that's too fast for anyone (mode 3) you can leave it in mode 1 or mode 2 which goes much slower..
This chair may be good for a rich person with someone who can lift it and set it up for them. Most people dont want to spend this much and cant afford it. A person with a bad back and knees cannot lift this heavy chair to place in a trunk or lift out of a trunk. Also won't be able to bend down. The people demonstrating have zero problems.
You have your facts wrong.. this is not for rich people, it is the cheapest electric chair I've found.. it is also the lightest.. but if you have the issues you claim than you can't get a portable electric chair..
I have 3 types of arthritis, severe chronic pain and damaged lungs when I lift heavy my lungs hurt.. I can manage putting this chair in and out of my car. I bought this chair to keep my independence as long as possible. Obviously if you have someone to rely on you will.. I do not have that luxury.
See that's what I thought originally too but after I purchased this chair it was way easier to use and way more accurate than an actual wheelchair with a hand control.. don't knock it till you try it this thing is amazing it takes a bit of a learning curve but not long within 10-15 minutes you'll be a pro my parents love this one way better than they liked any wheelchair they've ever owned.
I would've agreed, but driving this thing is fun. It's really nimble. Unless you are in the rain. These wheels are terrible on wet surfaces. So terrible that I'm looking for another option.

I strongly suggest that everyone read the reviews on Amazon.
I've had the chair for a couple years now without a hitch works absolutely perfect not only for my folks but I use it too every now and then.
Question? Before getting on/off the chair is there a locking mechanism to safely stand up or to sit down without it rolling from underneath you?
Yes there is at the wheels just reach as you would with any other chair and push down to lock .
