- Come into ALDI with me see what I bought for a week of groceries for my family of 5. I always use items from my pantry/freezer as well. I share my dinner meal plan at the end.
Also, I do NOT buy my groceries exclusively at ALDI, but they're the first place I try and my favorite to shop at.

When I see Something that I like, I also stock up on it. For instance there was a sell on Cheerios and I bought 5 boxes!! Lol! Be Blessed.

I’m so excited for the Cherry Fraginpanni! We have 1 left in the freezer so just in time! Yeah!
I love those cherry tarts. We picked up 3, as we like to pop one or two in when our kids visit. The apple ones are better when sprinkled with cinnamon sugar before baking.

I have a tip for the zucchini in the soup. Try shredding it like cheese and it will be less noticeable.

The soft spread butter changed from olive oil to canola at my Aldi ...not happy
The Cajun fries are really gooood
Apple crisp is good. The frozen croissants are really good.
That pumpkin s'mores candle is the best...

I love their ravioli. The Mama Cozzi’s pizzas seem too salty to me. My favorite frozen pizza is the Motor City Supreme pizza at Walmart.

I don’t understand why you don’t have a stock of items like flour,butter, and sugar. You should have enough that you don’t have to buy it every week and run out. Aldi has good butter sales at least twice a year and it freezes well. Btw I tried that tart you rave about and I wasn’t a fan.

Unfortunately those egg and dairy prices are going to be high so long as the flu persists. Hopefully they can get it under control, soon.
And you're right. The pumpkin rolls Aldi sells are EXCELLENT. And they freeze well if you're going to be the only one eating them. The German Week Aldi Finds are coming, too, and always have treats. As you noticed.

Wow! Many of your Aldi prices are lower than ours in NYC. There are few very Aldi’s here, maybe it’s the high price for store space. We buy many of the same items - I’m going to check for the tarts ;))
My Aldi never had canned pineapple either. I actually don’t think they carry it. I’ve bought the frozen seasons choice pineapple chunks and they’re good to eat as a snack or with yogurt, but I wouldn’t use them for other recipes. Tried adding them to my sushi bowl and it was not good.

I’m happy to elaborate! I bought this the first time a couple years ago and tried it. I loved it! It’s crust is cookie like, but the cake is moist and soft with the cherries and a wonderful almond flavor. It’s just a great balance of texture, flavor and price! Truly my favorite ALDI item ever. I bought many last year and again had to stock up. I just pull one out on occasion; my girls love it with me, so we cut it into thirds!

Feeding a cat who's allergic to kibble, I'm delighted to see the return of cans of pureed pumpkin to the shelf. (She has recovered her fur eating that mixed 50:50 with Aldi's tinned catfood.) For some reason, perhaps shelf-space - this is deemed a seasonal product, just as coleslaw has disappeared. Hmmm. Meier is small, lacking in selection, and overpriced in Milwaukee.
I'm in north Jersey..the one Aldi I frequent..thr eggs, $3.69!!!! Up over a 1.25 in a month as most of thr prices r up again..in 4yrs..most items have doubled in cost..as all others stores too..

I’m wondering if the reason I have never seen the cherry tart, is because once they arrive one person gets to them before I do?
the almond loaf cake mix was my favorite Aldi item but they discontinued it. it was a cake mix that made an almond loaf with a chocolate topping. i got the apple tea and it is good but a little weak compared to the name brand which i have and compared one to one.

You are the type of person who would buy all of the water and toilet tissue in the grocery store (during a crisis). Then you would go home, go back to the same store, purchase the rest, and leave the shelves empty. You wouldn't be satisfied until there was no water or tissue for other families . Do you not think that other families may need to drink and wipe just like you? You cleared out and bought ALL of the cherry tarts, leaving none for others. You NEEDED 8, Really ?
