My dream is to one day work with a film props studio like Weta Workshop for some cool cyberpunk take on the original Fast and Furious / Wangan midnight, that would just be awesome.

Another great video! I loved the rain shot at the end as well as the render sneak peak showcasing the rest of the design and highlighting the next pieces you will build. Awesome touch. Great craftsmanship as always! You're doing great work that you should be able to take immense pride in!
More superb content from Tofu. The FD front end grafted on really adds a new dimension to this build. Thanks for all your work and more RESPECT for your tenacity.
So cool to see the drawing at the end of how you envision it, great to see where it's going and the plans you have for it, looking forward to watching the whole journey!
I've been sneaking the drawing in a bit in these last videos. It's a lot easier to just show people what I'm doing instead of trying to reassure everyone by saying "trust the vision" haha
I think some kind of custom snorkel would fit the build, like its an illegal car that runs from the police in the future, there could be a lot of dust in said future and since parts would be hard to find, saving your engine and your air filter would make sense!
man, how are you not itchy after cutting fiber with abre hands and sanding fiber with short sleeve and shorts! you are fearless! I am itchy all the time!, great job as always, a source of inspiration!
I think everyone else is just a big baby haha, I genuinely don't feel itchy at all. Either that or I'm always itchy and I just don't notice it anymore lol. Keep up the great work dude, been loving seeing your build progress!
"Good enough is the enemy of humanity." That extra time spent on gaps and body lines is what separates a great build from "it looks nice while its moving" builds.
I always find it incredibly exciting how you can turn 2 different car parts into 1 complete car parts accessory package. The result is always amazing. ;- )
Amazing video as always, good morning from the UK thankyou for the best way to start a sunday morning, wake up coffee and the latest episode... Perfect

It might but I've burned out a tool in the past from the slurry that was produced clogging up the airways, so now I just sort of make the dust and deal with it. I have plans to work on improving my dust extraction for my next shop, this one is a lost cause though.
I love this build i started watching it since when you had a bodykit and the miata was beige, but i think you do too much exterior parts and not enough engine mods, but thats just my opinion
@@TofuAutoWorks you could try to engrave your logo in the edge of your custom tail light :) So you have an official touch on every part you've build. Keep it up!

That rx-7 front makes it ten times better, very nice
I am watching from Japan. I like your videos and watch them all the time. The design, the technical skills, the ideas, everything is good👍.
This has to be the most underrated build on YT. Coolest thing ever.

Love how this one's been progressing!

You must have a badass dad and I bet growing up was so fun watching and learning from him.
A short little project like this is a nice change of pace from the Skygea, always happy to see more!
Yeah for sure, always nice having more than one project so you can jump around and keep things from getting too repetitive.

would recommend you use a rubber spudger or like a used rubber slipper to push the filler within the crevices since the mix you use is quite viscus.

Dude in the video, his skin must be immune to fiberglass dust
So you cut it, to glue it back together? To adjust the Meassurements or for Stability to remove Tensions?
Took about 20mm out of the back of the fender to bring the angle back in a bit. They kicked out pretty far and it didn't look right in my opinion.
22:53 Here weeeee goooooo😂
Hahah, the real reason people watch my videos 🤣
awesome

would adding water to the fiberglass while cutting reduce the risk of fibers in the air?

There will be an extra flare on top that fills in the gap, check the sketch at the end of the video to see what I mean.

Loving the build choom. Just one question, are you planning to do asymmetrical lights like many cars in Cyberpunk have?
There's a sketch at the end of the video showing how I hope for it to look when it's done

Great work again.
From what material is your logo that you've " casted " in?
Standard printer paper on a run of the mill printer. Just cut a few slits so that you can roll airbubbles out and that's all you need to do.
@@TofuAutoWorks you could try to engrave your logo in the edge of your custom tail light :)
So you have an official touch on every part you've build.
Keep it up!
Hey where did you get your body filler boards? I’ve always wanted one but cannot find any!
My board is just a scrap piece of flat aluminium from a bonnet or something. You don't need anything flash.
Well, I was going to go sleep but I guess I can hang out for long enough to see this! Also, when am I going to be able to order something for my NB miata from tofu?!
Not sure when / if I'll do anything for an NB. Really it's just a matter of getting a fun idea that I want to try out.
@@TofuAutoWorks your website has 3 piece duck tails, wouldnt those fit both the NA and NB?
how,did you build your shop? its really nice!
Just 4x4s and plywood and a close to a decade of filling it with tools and sanding dust.

How many hours did this swap take? You seem very efficient!
Around 2 weeks, maybe 60 - 80 hours? It's difficult to judge because filming adds a lot of time as well.
