    I am a nurse from ETHIOPIA AND am preparing to take my board exam here, your videos are really helpful ! in the beginning I was really frustrated that how can read all those nursing books in 3-4 months, but now thanks to you am able to cover a lot just in a day. your way of explanation, nclex tips that u give throughout the lecture is really helpful. it is more than a blessed job to relief someone's anxiety with out a medicine. I will do my best to distribute lectures throughout Africa.
    please make a new lecture on those areas you didn't cover like some disorders from medsurg. and also pediatrics, oby gyni , and psych. I will keep watching commenting and sharing .
    GOD BLESS YOU ! THANK YOU

    Thank you for your explanation. I have anemia. I was very fatigued and confused, felt very foggy minded. The doctor orders lab work every 6 months. Well on my first lab work, she said my iron was so low that it was chronic. and my white blood count was elevated and my platelets were elevated. Which I don't know what it means if platelets are elevated. I take iron supplements now. For the most part I'm okay, some days I still feel ran down.

    Thanks for explaining this. I had my doctors from time to time say you have anemia. I have had bleeding from hemorrhoids for years.I have just been fatigued and even though I get enough sleep.I get cravings for fish,shrimp iron…I got iron chelate with ferrochel. Taking one tablet a day and immediately noticed a difference in energy I will eat it in my foods.

    • @RegisteredNurseRN
      @RegisteredNurseRN  8 лет назад +4

      Hello Ramiro :) My biggest piece of advice would be to practice 100s of NCLEX style practice questions everyday (up until you test). Concentrate on the areas you struggle and always read the rationales and go back in your notes or review book to review the material on what you got wrong. A good review book that I recommend is by Saunders called Comprehensive Review Guide for NCLEX. It has 1000s of practice questions and is jammed packed full of review material that is focused on what you need to know for NCLEX. Amazon.com usually has the best deal on it. Also, my website has free NCLEX quizzes you can use as well: www.registerednursern.com/nursing-student-quizzes-tests/
      I hope that helps :) Best wishes!

    Does iron pills make your period come earlier? Its been making mine come earlier. It also makes the blood fresher. I used to get blood cloting on my period a lot. Do you count the day your period ends or the first day of your period in order to count your last period? My hair has broken off a lot in the middle. I stopped taking them.
