I teach horseback riding to beginner riders at summer camps every year and these videos are really helpful! I've been learning this stuff at the stable where I ride for years (and I've been riding for 18years) but these videos help me figure out how to explain things more clearly to the riders I work with (doing things and teaching those things to kids can be very different tasks). so thanks :)
Wow. That stallion is super impressive! Beautiful movement, ridden perfectly. What a great horse/rider match!
What a wonderful visual! Beautiful horse and a lovely mover.
This is simply gorgeous lovely movement and well ridden, i have been looking for this so i can start bring out the best in my horse thank you very much guys
great video, thanks for posting gentlemen. Love to see the faux pas movements, see TOO much of that at the barn. Gorgeous mover, what a great team.
What a lovely mover and so rhythmic...always in front of his leg. I love this horse...what a good do-bee! I bet he is a wonderful stallion in the breeding shed.
What an amazing stallion, such an elevated and floating trot, I would kill to ride his extensions!
stunning movement, a joy to watch this horse and rider :-)
Thank you! This is nice!! It may help us to hear as well the aids description as the subject of this video is HOW TO :) Yet, we can have the info over the web! But this is really nice!! Thank you!
What a wonderful elastic trot.
Can I ask what is the full breeding of this young horse?(I know that you mentioned Flemmingh). What beautiful self-carriage and swing! I would agree that it may be a tad behind the vertical at times (which can happen from time to time so as the rider you just have to be aware of this and try to correct it) but otherwise well ridden. This horse is gorgeous and has a wonderful dressage future ahead of him. Cheers from Canada.
That horse is one fabulous mover!
LOL at Haley's comment! me too Haley!!
that horse looks like he is floating! simply gorgeous mover!
*drools* OH MY JESUS. this makes me realize how much work I need to do :(
You didn't say anything about HOW to ride it. There were no aids said, we just watched a horse trot round.
wow he can move!
Nice that he said "YOUNG 7 year old stallion". But shame that the horse is mostly behind the vertical and the poll is almost never the highest point as it should/must be. But beautiful horse! Nice gates..
Nice Horse.shame its not ridden with the poll as the highest point. Quite a common mistake in modern competitive dressage to ride horses over bent and behind the vertical.
its quite common that young horses go behind the vertical totally on their own. i agree with you tho and you could argue that they are pushing this horse btv (constant rein pressure wich looks to be tight)
