TRAIL INFORMATIONS FOR CHEILE BICAZULUI --- goo.gl/xeBcQr
    _________________________________________________________________
We started from the Valley named paraul Oii, from where we ascended to Poiana Alba, and from there we trekked until we reached Hasmasul Mare and descended into the valley to Piatra Singuratica.
The trail head starts from the national road 12C but we drove for another 4 km until we got to the end of the village.
Once you reach the last cabin the trail starts going up. We`ve been to this place before so we took the libery of trekking it through the valley instead of taking the beaten path.
The trail passes through magical glades that are surrounded by secular evergreen pine forests, looking like something you would expect to find in a Hans Chritian Andersens novel.
Our detour through the forest lead us to many delicious findings.
We got back on the trail has some some of the thickest mud i`ve seen anywhere, so I wanted to get out as fast as possible… I ran until I realized I can use some footage i`ve taken in early spring, when we caught a ride with a bloke that was driving a TAF…
When we got off and we started towards Poiana Alba, and on the way we almost bumped into one of the tenants that reside in this habitat … a viper.
A little further up the trail we ran into fresh bear tracks, so the best thing I could think of was time traveling back to the summer, because what you can`t see can`t kill you.
Once we got to the Poiana Alba indicator the route goes up towards the ridge.
Looking back on the trail you can get a feeling of how serene life used to be for the people who lived here for hundreds of years, without being disturbed by adventure thirsty hikers.
The way to the top is so easy that I would take my unborn childen on it and leave them there to fend for themselfs… (joking moms)
Once you get to the Saddle, there is a sign pointing to Hasmasul Mare, so once again we must enter the murky forest.
The entire area looks like the textbook habitat for bears, that`s probably why they choose this location as The only bear cub orphanage in Europe. If you want to help the bears you can check out the link in the description.
Once we started closing in on the summit, Lady Luck brought us together with an old friend, the fog. We accelerated our pace so that maybe we could get a glimpse of the view from above, before the rain got to us.
This time nature was kind enough to allow us the privilege of glancing at the scenery that makes this place unique in my opinion.
Once we had our fill of beauty we marched towards Piatra Singuratica with the rain hot on our trail. These valleys are filled with herds of sheep, paired with their ancestral guardians the dogs. The dogs warent too aggressive but they warent nice either, so pay attention to them.
As we got closer to Piatra Singuratica the rain started pounding us, and even though we stopped to wait it out, we knew that it`s presence can only mean one thing… that we won`t be able to climb Piatra Singuratica.
Once we got to the cabin we started climbing so we could convince ourselfs that it`s not safe to climb it… and we did.
Hey, you can`t win them all, but there`s always a next time, especially when it comes to this magnificent place.

My mate almost stepped on it. It`s the second time i save him in Cheile Bicazului from stepping on a viper. 8 out of 10 times i`ve been here i`ve seen vipers, so watch your step. :)

    Cum se mai prezintă cabana?
Acum 18 ani cand am fost eu, se prezenta foarte rau.
