    I can think of 2 more reasons the Kru viper wall is good, it lets them walk into B main undetected. allowing them to put the wall down and punish any defenders attempting to contest B main. 4th reason would be that it is good for post plant, they can force the retaking defenders to have to swing through the wall and punish them

    • @zeruh6
      @zeruh6 2 года назад +1

      Nice! I wonder if this was the advanced reason for the wall that sovereign guides meant.

    • @daniellye6820
      @daniellye6820 Год назад

      that first reason wont really work at high level play because the downed smoke contradicts the protections its supposed to have in the first place

    • @JeffDays
      @JeffDays Год назад

      @daniellye6820 I'm not sure you even know what you are saying. They can put the viper wall up at round start and have multiple people walk into B main for free. Then they can drop it at any time, if any defenders were in B main they would get gunned down. The threat of this play alone makes defenders afraid to contest B main. And this exact type of play is used all the time in high level play btw :)

    I barely watch vids on analyzing pro play games and comment on vids even less than that. But honestly man, that was such a clean analysis 100/10. It both had so much information but also not too much and you broke it down so well. Getting insight into such high level gameplay was just nuts. The insane part of all of this in my opinion is kru using sen’s confidence as their advantage, they purposefully use utility to bait and manipulate the way that sens react such as recalling smokes to make tenz peek and placing stars that (at the time) do nothing but plant an idea in the heads of sentinels.
    They needed sentinels to not respect the astra stars, they needed tenz to over extend, they knew how to take the mentality of a great team and play it perfectly to turn it into their downfall.
    They took the strength of sentinels and used it to their advantage and this is genius.

    As a Viper main I can say that that wall is extremely strong:
    - most importantly: denies crossfires, as mentioned
    - denies early information on B main (which can lurk defender's abilities)
    - denies early OP picks into main
    - 3 pop flash locations (main, exit of main, and default)
    - cover for planting on default
    - if you need to force-plant in an eco round, that's the way to do it
    - you can plant the spike on top of it, so defenders will decay/not be able to see much when defusing

      i think the point of blocking cross fire covers that.
      According to me the 3 uses of that wall are
      1. Sneaking into B
      2. Breaking cross fire
      3. denying that early defender peek angle (Op players usually pick 1 from that spot when you try to take B)
