Just discovered your channel recently & really enjoyed all of your plant adventures & unboxings! 👍Also love the familiarity/ comfort of hearing you & your dad speaking Cantonese. I often go plant shopping w/ my mom as well.
oh stella im so sorry for the late reply! i only just saw your comment! You must be cantonese too! i love doing plant things with my dad, I feel like we really bond over it :)
Thanks! Great video. Tell your Dad that flower power is more expensive but when they have specials it's good. They also have some rarer things. Would love to know if and what you purchased???
Thank you lovely! I really appreciate it! haha I shall! My dad is so used to purchasing plants at flea markets I think the retail prices gave him a shock! And you're right with the rarer plants - I wanted to get the bat flower but decided against it because its almost winter. You'll be sad to hear that I walked away empty handed! :(
Just wondering if there are any local nurseries or flea market near Liverpool, Wentworthville, casula? I live in Canberra and these suburbs are on the way.
heya i think there are the Warwick Farm markets in Liverpool every weekend where they have plants there (although I'm not sure if theyre still on given covid). In Casula theres Astral Nurseries which I havent been to yet but I've heard good things! I hope this helps!
I went maybe a month ago and it was like a ghost town! All the plants had been sold and everything was dirt cheap. The huge monsteras you showed were down to $45 and everyday I regret not getting one 😭
@@elizabethlau2178 i know! I went there a few weeks before it closed and it was so sad :( aww its ok! It just means there's a better monstera out there for you!!
Honestly, plants plus is where👏it's👏at👏. Also, yay! Finally found an Australian plant channel!
aww you are so sweet bee! you literally just made my evening!!! hehe
such a shame that the plants plus near me closed down :( is there one near you?
@@jessypotplants aw you're welsome! And there are a couple, but one is kinda half closed down and in slightly dodgy management, so I prefer the other.
