Just curious why so frequently? And what does the level % say when u change it basically when it reaches 70% or 60% oil level from the last oil change if that makes sense?
@Jmarzx it's not that the oil has gone bad within 3-4k miles.(it's possible) I'd argue it's bad at 6k plus. I change it because these high performance engines especially when pushing it burn oil. Just write down the mileage and change it every 3-4k on sports cars. Check as you approach the 3-4k mark with the dipstick or bmws check oil setting whatever it's called.
That's great and I'm sure its great for the car but not necessary at least in my case. I'm using synthetic oil and while I don't wait till 10k miles like some do I change it about every 6k miles. Multiple shops have told me 6k miles is about perfect for this engine.
Loving the vids bro Your M6 is 🔥🔥I don’t see many in the U.K. - i drive a 2015 RS3 w/ OEM+ stage 2 currently getting its MOT but I share a 2005 330ci e46 with my dad which I probably drive more often & prefer driving sometimes. Keep grinding man I usually watch war documentaries but here I am binging jaywhips!👌🏼 Wouldn’t mind seeing some more asetto corsa vids in the future too - peace!
ive been back and forth between the m440i and 650i(cause i want a sunroof) and the shot at 10:44 helped make the case for the 6. mf looks like a NASA spaceship 😮💨
U should talk about the car and what u have done with it and how it’s holding up after 2 years I’m trying to get one of these but I’m not sure if I should get it or not
That was kinda the idea of this video but i got distracted lol. Cars holding up great. Just to keep it short I have down pipes, front mount intakes and a Bm3 tune. It's considered safe power for this engine.
Same RPM thing was happening to me with my M6, ended up being the mass airflow sensor get it checked out bro it’s so embarrassing to have that happen. A Turner/Coder should be able to diagnose pretty well too.
is it only on cold start that your RPM's are jumping? i had the exact same thing but my car is 1.5 deisel, literally had that same issue for like 2 months and it ended up being that my DPF filter was blocked. I just ended up deleting DPF and the problem went away, you might wanna look at your OPF filter since your car is petrol instead of diesel
@@AYO_KO Id say give them a good clean lad. If not I would say its injectors most likely. If it happens when she's cold (sitting overnight) and stops when its fully warm its most likely injectors
@@colindevlin4567 car runs perfectly fine when the MAFs are unplugged. Have to clear the MAF code before starting the engine but it works. I’m still tryna pinpoint the issue.
@@AYO_KO fuck that’s a tough one man, if it runs perfectly without the MAF it has to be the MAF sensor failing (always in my case) try and get a new one and see if that helps bud

5:36 we would've take bro bmw certified card away if he let bro cut him off like that 😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
I change my oil every 3-4k miles on my f13 M6 and Shelby gt350....you cray

@@shanefowler9443I got a stage 2 F10 550i. I do exactly the same on mine. Every 3500-5500 miles change the oil with LM 5W-40

For the lumpy idle at startup did you try changing the MAF sensor? maybe even check injectors?
I got a fucked up idle myself. I just changed the MAFs in August but I went Stage 2 in Oct. I might replace em
