Thank you for your honest review of the Advent calendar and of my artwork. This is my first time working with ARTEZA on their advents and I honestly love all of your suggestions and agree with the misses you brought up. Hopefully if I can work with them next year we can implement some of these concerns! I had a lot of fun working with ARTEZA and look forward to making this better for the consumers. Have a good day ✌🏼

      Love your art.
      Arteza makes some great stuff.
I haven't bought an advent calendar yet, but I always imagined it to be like those art subscription boxes. A guided tutorial, the stuff to make it, and enough left over to play with. A real display of what the company sells and help future customers over the fear of not knowing how to use it. (And if it doesn't require screen time, even better)
Looking forward to seeing more of your art.

      @ Hi 👋🏼
Thank you!! Yes I love trying new art supplies and company’s and ARTEZA has always been a great place for fun supplies for me and my 4 boys to use. We like doing the advent calendars together every year. So I thought it was awesome when I was asked to help create one of their calendars this year.
I did do an unboxing video and currently editing the video where my boys do the projects from this calendar as well as short form videos of me doing the projects ✌🏼

Your art is really great! Please know my negative opinion of the box is not reflective of my opinion of you!

@@RMD arteza needs to handle issues with thier products when given as gifts far better than they currently do.
Customers are experiencing issues with product flaws and product failure. Arteza refuses to fix or rectify the issues with product failure when the person that receives the gifts can't provide receipt or order number . It an easy way for them to make the issue go away without being resolved.

Could not agree more. I reached out to the artist about the lack of instructions and asked if he would be posting reels or inductions. He said probably not because he was busy. I am super disappointed.

I think that's officially it for me when it comes to Arteza's Advent Calendars, but if yall know of anyone who offers fun art supply or stationary Countdown Calendars or Advent Calendars, let me know! I have a handmade one to share with yall as part of my Artist Gift Guide!

I own most of Arteza products. I own the 3 of 60 count sets (watercolor, gouache and acrylics), watercolor palettes, inkonic pens, the 120 count expert watercolor pencils, the 120 colored pencils, gel pens, the 48 count acrylics markers and several journals... this not all the Arteza I own... I simply listed enough so that you understand I know what I'm speaking about when it comes to Arteza products and their performance with continuous use. I've found their products to be substandard and over priced. The caos on the paints tubes fail as soon as you begin to use them. The center circle if the lids fails and pops out. This is a huge issue, as over 50% of the acrylics caps have failed! As soon as the lids fail you're at risk of losing the paints to drying out. And having the lids fail while trying to create is extremely aggravating and disruptive to the creative process.
The only products I'd use again are the acrylic markers and expert watercolor journals. Those are the only products that preformed as promised.
The thing that makes it even worse is their customer service! They are horrible when you've been gifted one of their products.
This should be taken into consideration when gifting Arteza products. Just know, If the party you gifted has an issue with a product and can not provide a receipt they will not receive any support from customer service until one can be provided. Therefore, when you attempt to bring an issue to their attention and find resolution they become impossible to deal with. Arteza products and the company itself both fail and fall very short of the mark!

I think this would be a convenience gift for a beginner. I always have the intention of putting together an advent calendar gift for close friends or a family member, but don't have the time. But i would not give this as a gift. The quality is low. I did find some good finds at five below for an art teen. They were really excited it was an art board, pens, watercolor and brushes.

The entire video, this box was reminding me of a Mr. Beast gimmick for that last minute cash grab before Christmas. Just dress up a bunch of crappy, old product that's not selling and advertise the heck out of it using people and characters that kids recognize or trust. Companies have been charging a premium for cheap supplies for years now. The physical products lack quality, there's little to no value for the price tag, and the customer seems to be a complete afterthought. Spend wisely and dont let these companies take your money for dollar store quality suppies.

Omg, this was SUCH a rip off. I'm so tired of being fleeced by these companies. Thank you for the review!

I rather go to a Daiso and get a pack of watercolours that are decent for 5 bucks and a watercolour paperblock for another 2 buckos. I think Arteza had a good idea, but it seems like it failed the mark. Personally, I would make it 12 days, and make each day a build up of supplies (Day 1, sketchbook/sketchpad/watercolour paper) (Day 2: One type of supply, like pencils and eraser to start)(Day 3: Fineliners etc) like it should build onto the previous day. I am not a fan of some days just being a singlar tube of paint or a single marker and not all advent calenders have to be holiday themed.

I feel lil I agree with you, I would skip and go to dollar tree 😳 the canvas and paints would be a similar value. I think all the acrylic paint they give is because it seems most ppl in America seem start there, most sip and dip classes use acrylic, and it’s more approachable for some reason 🤷🏼‍♀️ idk I wish watercolor would be available and popular in the US lol but it seems to be more popular in Asian countries.

I was so tempted to do a Dollar Tree comparison shop to demonstrate that you can put together your own calendar of comparable supplies, but this month already feels so short 😅 I agree, I wish more people in the US realized how accessible watercolor is- I feel like it's gotten such a bad name for no real reason!

@ girl, for real I would be more down for a dollar tree comparison. If i had to guess it would be $20-$30 if I was really trying to match it up in my area!

Overpriced, under quality. You do a lovely job at this, but music is really unnecessary for videos, and can be distracting to us neurodivergent (older) individuals. Thank you for the information and diligence on reviews. Good job. I'm so completely disgusted with the pricing of art supplies these days. I saw synthetic brushes selling for genuine sable prices. It's enough to infuriate anyone. They all need to get their stuff together! 🤬

YOU ARE WRONG!! INSTRUCTIONS ARE ONLINE! You slammed the entire box stating there are none. Maybe check the product you are reviewing before making a video like this? There ARE INSTRUCTIONS for each box if you go to the description on their web site and use the QR code or the link in the description!

Omg! Why didn't they put these in the box? I remember Wondering about the QR code but since it was printed on the sleeve and not the bottom or inside of the lid of the box, that had long been thrown away by opening time. Bad marketing choices.
