This was a black bear that my father-in-law killed. It was hunting season. The bear charged him and his two sons. He shot it and it kept running towards them. Both sons had to shoot the bear before it stopped. A black bear is a wild animal. You can't predict what a wild animal will do. My son's boxer was killed by a black bear. I'm as close to the mountains as I want. If a bear comes to get an easy meal out of my garbage can I don't confront it.
Dude I honestly can't imagine, I got bit by a dog on the street just last week but he was tiny and I had shoes on so if it escalated I 'had it' But my point is seeing an animal come at you like that with it's teeth baring ready to fight is something else, I sincerely can't imagine what it's like knowing you are going too lose .... Like I felt the bite a few seconds before I even processed I had been attacked ...
I bet if you showed videos of a few bodies after a bear or wolf attack instead of posters I’m sure they will respect the animals and keep their distance. When in high school a policeman showed us pictures of mangled bodies in car wrecks it taught me well I’ve never had a car accident.
The bear should not have been killed, she didn’t feed on them, she was just being a mom in her home, and trespassers came into it. I’m sick of wild being killed bc ppl decide to make these parks and trails, it’s bad enough they’ve taking up the land and torn large forests down, making their homes smaller and smaller, each bear has a territory, just like tigers and other wildlife, and when these forests are torn down to make homes their pushing these animals closer and closer, which ends up causes issues with their hunting/food, now these animals start coming into contact with ppl and bc of being hungry, or just mentally messed up from trying to survive and fighting with other ones like themselves over food they become aggressive, and take that out on ppl, and sometimes they eat them to survive. We do the same things, are we shot and killed for protecting our kids, are we killed when we kill them to eat? this society is all types of messed up.
There is not enough evidence to support the wolf attack happened this way. Not nearly. They found his bones, and a chewed knife. The knife may have smelled like the skinned animals, causing a wolf to chew it….they do this. If wolves scavenged his body, this makes sense. They can’t know what happened. It could be they told this story, perhaps, to make family and friends feel better.
When you stand facing the bear, be sure to show her your photo ID, and then ask her if she has any Grey Poupon. In most cases, this will cause the bear to return to her lair to look for some Grey Poupon, allowing you to continue unmolested on your hike.
Definitely could be the peoples fault, but the same mama bear killing people on two occasions does make me wonder if she is extra protective for some reason. I like that we knocked its genes out of the gene pool just in case. You are out of here. Attacked the wrong species.
Trapping: get a feel for fur - put your fingers in a car door and slam it shut - that's what leg hold traps feels like so bad many animals gnaw their own legs off; nice....the wolves turn the tide feeling the desperate, nauseating terror - he showed no mercy he got no mercy; he was ferocious and brutal - so were the wolves...Go Wolves! Good people can make mistakes and trying desperately not to run.....I do not know if I would have the presence of mind to remain calm. Killing to protect her young is not fair. Not sure Brian would have wanted that. We have to allow room for the bears and other species. if we go into their territory we have to learn the "guest rules"......not feeding bears is key.....and it's crazy to think fences can hold bears!
The only case I’ve ever ever heard of wolves attacking humans was when they were kept in captivity! There was a lot of game in the woods back in those days, so plenty for the wolves to eat! This first story had to have been a brown bear because it was springtime and when brown bear come out of their hibernation, they are starving and we’ll eat ANYTHING! If Chris unknowingly got too close to a brown bear or if a bear was stalking him, it would’ve attack him so fast that he would’ve been completely helpless, even if his gun was loaded! To pull his gun out of his holster and get a shot off is EXTREMELY hard & sometimes impossible, depending on how close the bear is! This had to have been a brown bear attack that killed & ate Chris, not a pack of wolves! Wolves may have fed on the carcass later on, but they wouldn’t have attacked Chris! It’s extremely rare for any wolves to attack humans, and they would’ve have to have been starving to death to do it! With all the game in that country back then, it’s just not realistic at all that this was a wolf attack! The ONLY scenario that makes any sense at all, is that he was attacked & killed by a brown bear!
As if a starving brown bear would leave enough remains for a pack of wolves to even glance at. Pretty sure the professionals would have thought of that if you did and came to a different conclusion for a reason.
I think the Shuman group were intoxicated and possibly hypersensitive about Miu possibly perving out on the girls in the area. That said, i dont think for a minute that Miu said he was looking for (a) little girl(s). So when he looked like he rushed the group it all went bad, and drunk people acted drunk... but this young lady is very careful not to qualify Miu's actions after he pulled the knife out as "stabbing." As another 50-something yr old man, it isnt hard to identify the few ACTUAL aggressors (3?). 13 v. 1 is a way sketchy characterization of the "mob." That said, Miu DID get punched by the kid. A response out of self- defense was certainly warranted. But he stabbed anyone who came within arm's length, even though at least 3 were trying to be peacemakers. Miu's stabbings were not simple stabs. They were deep slices with follow-through. He also largely was not physically looking like he was DEFENDING himself. His actions looked OF-fensive, not DE-fensive. He went way to far, period. The kids were stupid and loud, for sure. Very stupid, but not deserving of death, or of disembowelment. We dont get to agree with witnesses when it supports our side and then ignore or disbelieve them. If the kids were drunk and this makes them unreliable, then ignore their testimonies, right? "Stand Your Ground" in this case would have been fine by me... but at some point he wasnt standing his ground defending himself. He stabbed people playing peacekeeper, trying to restrain or remove the other stabbing victims... and got stabbed for their trouble. So... maybe the first stabbee was justified. I forget if Isaac was 1st or 2nd. MAYBE his death would fall under SYG. But 3, 4, 5? Disemboweling a human takes a good amount of INTENT & effort. I feel like manslaughter or 3rd (or 2nd) degree murder would be pretty appropriate, if only because manslaughter (overcome by emotion/panic, resulting in the death of someone) covers 1 victim, almost never 2 or 3, and never more.
I've got to tell you it's easy for those that have seen bears a lot to say what to do but the reality of that semi coming at a newbie is heart attack inducing. I can't run so I'd have to stand there but I imagine I'd want to run. Just watching them come at me on the screen makes me want to run.
Must you show cruelly trapped animal's? I understand that some people survive by eating these animals, but to show an animal ensnared or in a trap is not necessary. Im realistic, but theres justvno need. Ive learnt not watch this & just listen, but it seems someone enjoys showing their handiwork. It isnt big & it isnt clever, we all know what it means.
Contrary to the "expert advice", Darsh's companions ran away and survived, while Darsh stood still and was killed. You can't always trust the expert advice.
what can be learned from this if a group of you see a bear coming stick together pick up something that you can use as a weapon I don't mean a stick something about the size of a bat pick up some rocks I don't mean Stones the size that you use in a slingshot no something that weighs about 10- 15 lb and you stand together and you stand your ground you don't run off and leave your buddy like a bunch of cowards this man died because of collective stupidity. Don't act like a meal act aggressive ,the bear had to be put down because of stupidity are you going out into the wild? think about what you're going to do in a situation like this it doesn't cost you anything

So, you know there is a mother bear with her cubs, in their habitat, and you bring a gun to kill it. I'm sorry but sometimes people bring this for their selves
This is truly heartbreaking both ways poor cubs loss their mom and 2 ppl dead
Hey, there's a mother bear and her cubs up that way, Thanks, we'll head on up. It's like, look at all those fatal shark attack signs on the beach, great, let's go swimming.
trapping is so cruel glad the got even.
Glad the bear wasn't killed; imagine being killed for being a bear......oh wait; the monsters killed the bear
Its always good to hear hunters becoming the hunted....lol
Tell your shrink.
People are more important than animals. You’re demented
You definitely need a whole lotta antipsychotic’s.

It's interesting how you can watch the same story on multiple channels, but with drastically different details each time.
If i want a picture of a bear, I'll purchase a post card.
What a helpful 911 operator…..” it’s gonna take awhile, you know……” she might as well have said “well what do you want from me? You’re screwed…”. This guy is in shock, scared, maybe lost a friend to a BEAR. Where do they get these 911 idiots?
The second one they ignored the signs of bear warnings but the bear paid the price for protecting her babie and cubs lost their mom enclosed for the rest of their life people don't care when its something they want
So how does this guy know one wolf to right and to left from an incident decades ago without any video?
Anyone else notice you have strangers coming to a strange Land?. Every piece of property I've ever bought the first thing I did before one stone was put down or one post was the plant fruit trees to honor the ancestors of the land. I don't hunt and kill animals For trophy. I become a steward, a guardian over the land.❤
That grizzly bear should have not been killed. So tragic. I don't see how that helps. She had two cubs. Now orphaned. 😢😢😢
Do not... Do not... Do not... or and I'm js -DO NOT GO WHERE BEARS, SHARKS, OR CROCS LIVE. I never have to worry about being attacked by any of these wild animals because they DO NOT come into my living room or tub and I DO NOT go into theirs. I'm far from sympathetic to the unfortunate people or their final affliction but no matter your odds or the odds they want us to believe we have it is only a possibility when you show up in their living room(home). Js
The wolf knew the gun didn’t work
Dude I honestly can't imagine, I got bit by a dog on the street just last week but he was tiny and I had shoes on so if it escalated I 'had it'
But my point is seeing an animal come at you like that with it's teeth baring ready to fight is something else, I sincerely can't imagine what it's like knowing you are going too lose ....
Like I felt the bite a few seconds before I even processed I had been attacked ...
Wolves are extremely intelligent. Wolf packs have killed experienced hunters.
Why would you say something so stupid?
Idk why ppl would go into bear inhabited woods. Not me.
Story 1. The hunter & the hunted. For once, the hunted won.
They are actually all the hunters.
I bet if you showed videos of a few bodies after a bear or wolf attack instead of posters I’m sure they will respect the animals and keep their distance. When in high school a policeman showed us pictures of mangled bodies in car wrecks it taught me well I’ve never had a car accident.
Why do so many people underestimate black bears🤦♂️
Why should the bear be “destroyed” for humans encroaching on their home? It’s absurd.
I feel more bad for the bear in the second video than Brian I'm sorry
Humans are so cruel to animals
The sighns were clear they still went to the bears people don't learn
Curiosity killed the cat. or rather the mother bear killed the curios human...
I wonder if anyone has thought to use a pk of fire crackers or M80s to scare a bear off. I mean it takes minimal time to light & throw or light & drop
Okay I get your idea mate, but now think of trying to go through with that plan with a 300-500 pound apex predator in front of you.
@Stellarsecrets369 Yeah, I thought of it & the loud bang would likely be enough to scare it away. If not a M80 something a M-200
I don't even eat meat.No desire for it.❤😊
The bear should not have been killed, she didn’t feed on them, she was just being a mom in her home, and trespassers came into it.
Story 1 KARMA!!! Nothing PISSES off more when they kill the animal!! Everytime you go to the woods or Ocean its not YOUR home!!!
I feel bad they put the bear down
How does the unfortunate couple go from Asian to western ?
Am i the only one who thinks walking around where there are bears is not a good idea?😂
No you are not the only one Victoria
Sloan
It is stupid to be in bear country to not have, a knife, gun, and bear spray! Your in their home! ❤
The business or person that sold him the gun should be charged
You can't stop a bear who is hungry for Chinese.
Rip to the poor humans that lost their lives😢
When you stand facing the bear, be sure to show her your photo ID, and then ask her if she has any Grey Poupon. In most cases, this will cause the bear to return to her lair to look for some Grey Poupon, allowing you to continue unmolested on your hike.
What is the youtube channel at the start of story 2
Definitely could be the peoples fault, but the same mama bear killing people on two occasions does make me wonder if she is extra protective for some reason. I like that we knocked its genes out of the gene pool just in case. You are out of here. Attacked the wrong species.
The wolves retaliated. Do not kill wolves!
Stop! Interfere wild life!
Trapping is cruelty
"Are you on a trail ".... pause well it will take along time to get to you imagine hearing the inevitable at that moment smh sad
Terrible idea to go out into an area known to have bears and not carry a firearm.
I think the Shuman group were intoxicated and possibly hypersensitive about Miu possibly perving out on the girls in the area. That said, i dont think for a minute that Miu said he was looking for (a) little girl(s).
So when he looked like he rushed the group it all went bad, and drunk people acted drunk...
but this young lady is very careful not to qualify Miu's actions after he pulled the knife out as "stabbing."
As another 50-something yr old man, it isnt hard to identify the few ACTUAL aggressors (3?).
I live in Fredericksburg Virginia because of all the building here there have been over 30 black bear sightings sine late April and its almost june

I've got to tell you it's easy for those that have seen bears a lot to say what to do but the reality of that semi coming at a newbie is heart attack inducing.
I can't run so I'd have to stand there but I imagine I'd want to run. Just watching them come at me on the screen makes me want to run.
Best advice is just to watch on You Tube. Stay safe.
Ain’t no way in hell i would of went out there with one gun and a knife lol
You must live in a barbaric country, stay safe over there buddy maybe you'll be able to escape it soon.
I love your channel and your voice rocks. Great storyteller keep up the great work
Must you show cruelly trapped animal's?
Didn't enjoy the imagery of the animals being killed and cut into..
They were very wrong for not killing that bear after the first kill either way after one attack on a human they will always attack again even unprovoked... Sad for the wild life that's losing there house basically because of humans and humans fall for these knowing the same or not is just dumb, but bless him and his family God Bless 🙏 , stay safe and smart...
On that final story, not sure how he ever got misinformation or the wrong idea that the bear would be more afraid of him… Guess we still need public service announcements to state the obvious. He did have a bright future ahead of him because he might be exceptionally smart, so smart he doesn’t know obvious common sense but can handle more difficult intelligent projects. It’s called being too smart for your own damn good…
So basically the first story is completely made up speculation 😂 still entertaining though.
Trapping animals is disgusting. Poetic Justice.
I am soooo 😡 INFURIATED that they killed that beautiful bear for the absolute ignorance of people not staying out of that area she was just protecting her babies that was soo unnecessary for that mother bear to be put down like that its not her fault people are just stupid so many signs that say there is bears soo why just why would you wondering in to a territory that you have no business in!!!!!!😡😡😡
The 1st one was a happy ending. Team wolf 🐺
So heartbreaking 😮
For the bear
Darsh realised that the Teddy bear is a deadly predator much too late.
