  • F-15 display on rainy Sunday August 21. Great flybys with vortexes.
Nice to see americans in russian sky, but F-15 was in air three times here in 2003 2007 and 2011, and no other F- were, that's sad.

Not unless we impose severe restrictions on on the type of they're allowed to perform which would almost certainly occur. I love being an American but I'm not going to lie military aircraft demos are quite tame when compared to those flown in Russia. Even this F-15 demo was way more impressive than any F-15 demos I've seen here in the US. If you've seen one airshow you pretty much seen them all. Always the same routines and very little variety. It must some type of inferiority complex.

    • @ChrisBlack1
      @ChrisBlack1 6 лет назад +1

It has a lot more to do with risk to people and structures around the demo area. A lot of these high speed turns create momentum entering the turn that could carry an aircraft out of it's intended flight path, especially if a failure of any kind occurs. Basically we have safety standards.
If you want to see an airshow like this and can make the trip, come to Airshow London in Canada (London, Ontario. Just west of Toronto). All of the demos were shockingly aggressive and unlike anything I've seen yet up here and I seldom ever miss the Canadian International Airshow in Toronto.

liability.... the military doesn't want to get sued if there is as mishap at an america airshow... the public outcry would be severe if we had a ramstein style crash in america

+KHMedia I feel the same way here in Canada. I would love to see an SU-27 or SU-30/35 here or even a MIG-35 but sadly it seems our respective governments aren't too concerned with such things sadly.

Either there is a problem with the left engine, or that the pilot might have misaligned the thrust lever position so that the full afterburner is not there which is known as asymmetrical thrust

Difference between em doesn't matter too much. F-22 is getting the scorpion HMCS :) Airforce is looking into it this summer and could be implemented even before the increment 3.2B upgrade. Then theres stealth...

Well, but by studying the plane well one can understand, also Su-35 has 3D TVC and F-22 has 2D TVC so in a way yes it is

In the late 80,s or early 90,s they in fact brought a Mig-29 to the Kalamazoo Air Show. I believe it went on a tour of American air shows after that show in Michigan. What I do remember was a demo where if it was not in afterburner it poured black smoke for miles. And I found it strange that they had to use a parachute to brake it on the runway. Not as impressive for sure compared to an American F-14 Tomcat that flew right after the Mig.

    • @rvborgh

i was at that Kalamazoo Air Show where the Mig-29 was first displayed here in the USA. Amazing show really. Both Americans and Russians really know how to design aircraft well :)

    • @user-lv8mk5hk7s

    • @mikoriad

      @@user-lv8mk5hk7s
These "shock cones" come from the small nozzles with high pressure exhaust gas exiting the nozzle. The high pressure doesn't equal the ambient pressure so the cones are formed. With larger nozzle aircraft this is seen less often. I've noticed that most Russian fighter jets have large nozzles that do not emit these shock cones as noticeably.
