- Capcom Co., Ltd. (株式会社 カ プ コ ン Kabushiki-gaisha Kapukon?) Is a Japanese company that develops and distributes video games.
He created his first arcade, Vulgus, in 1984. His first games continued being arcades, like Shoot 'em up 1942. Capcom has created some of the most famous and lasting series of the history of the videojuegos, like for example Street Fighter.
In this collection we will see the best CAPCOM Arcades that we can find in the MAME (The Emulated) and I have also included other CAPCOM games that I have emulated with the DEMUL, ordered chronologically.
Capcom, Konami, Sega, Neo Geo, Data East, Midway were all some BEASTS when it came to making arcade games!! They helped make my childhood that much sweeter! They definitely do need to bring arcades back!
No SNK?
@Lafayette Cathey Yeah but SNK are the makers of Neo Geo.
I miss that old school smell of an arcade. The sounds as you walk in, triggering that euphoria of knowing your about to have a blast!
So many awesome games I gotta come back and finish watching! Love this video!
The smell of sweaty dudes?
@Shambles1980TRealOne
Jesus, what kind of arcades did you frequent?
You and me both. Great childhood memories.
@Shambles1980TRealOne urine? what ghetto did you grow up in?
This made me sad that the 90s are gone... the world hasn't been right since
I miss the old capcom games so many memories of awesomeness from ghost n goblins 1942 series the greatness 2D era of all time
Dont forget sega, konami,Snk,taito, namco were awesome as well 80-90s retro gaming will always be a part of me
@Vinayak Shenoy 82 represent! Easy to learn and play, hard to master. I love the WWf Arcade game/IYH even thou the latter was rushed but I was still happy to find it a few years back for a couple bucks complete with case and manual. I didnt even know they had made a sequel until I saw it in a store when i bought it(like 2012)
@Vinayak Shenoy yes..the 3D games where ugly..and sadly they never released a great 31khz vga 640x480p 2D arcade system..they were tooo focused on 3D..back then they prefer virtua fighters than greats 2D sprites.
If you know some nice 2D games in 31khz (outside Naomi and Atomiswave,I already have),they probably exist a lot of games in vga format.
In 31khz 2D is perfect..
Back when Capcom, Data East, Konami and SNK were the pinnacle of the arcade scene
Used to play all these jewels while getting you in all fours haha
Yes..back then they imagined a game with screenplay,storyboard...
After they call to make a arcade hardware.
Also Irem..Cave..upl..igs..a lot of unknow treasures I will play on mame.
And psikyo
Sega, Namco, Williams and Acclaim
1991 everything changed. Ill never forget seeing the SF2 machine at a local movie theater. Initially, I didnt even know what I was looking at, no one did. I remember in the following weeks people were accidentally figuring out there were "special moves". SF2 was a major leap in video gaming history.
The first time I spot a *ストリートファイターⅡ, Street Fighter II* arcade cabinet was at a laundromat that wasn't too far from Columbia Pictures Industries, Inc.
I seem to remember the arcade cabinets of SF2 having the basic special moves for characters on the decals. So if it was an official SF2 cabinet (which it most likely was if it was one of the new ones back in '91) then it would have had the moves printed on it. Nobody was "accidentally" figuring the moves out. It was part of the selling point of the game. Why would Capcom not tell people how to use the moves, years before the internet was a thing? Who TF would accidentally stumble across how to do a dragon punch and then figure out the exact joystick/button combination when it was the first game to use that move? Nobody.
@@superghost6951 Some cabinets did not have the move list and yes, people would accidentally perform special moves. Unintentional moves happen all the time.
Capcom was the greatest arcade developers of it's time!! Thank you for the great memories
Awesome video! Looks like you went in chronological order too! Nice! So many fantastic games. Thankfully, these are all emulated perfectly nowadays.
Man!!! I can't believe I've been rocking with capcom since '88 on the NES and first played street fighter at the arcades in '89. Here it is 2021 and I'm waiting on RE 8 to drop. Capcom is the GOAT when it comes to videogames. 💯%
Ghouls and ghosts was brilliant so difficult used to play it at the youth club 😂born in 77
Thank you capcom for making my childhood great
Capcom,Konami,SNK,Sega etc made alot of my childhood growing up.😉
Los videos tienen un contraste fabuloso. Has hecho un gran trabajo con este video remix. Se ven de lujo los juegos. Ni muy pixelados ni demasiado borrosos. Genial!
Capcom = Arcade Masterpiece Machine
Link Chen Capcom, Konami, Taito, Bandai, East Data, Jaleco..was make a very good fighting and adventure game at that time
nice, showing rival schools project justice some love....i miss the dreamcast and naomi hardware.good friggin times
Even bad games were not so bad in Capcom. Many many many cool games.. 👌
Lemme get this straight... in '94 Capcom released Darkstalkers, SSF2T, X-Men Children of the Atom, and Slammasters 2 Ring of Destruction. Four, very different, legendary fighting games in one year. Imagine a thing like that happening today.
Never again ......
This is high quality content. Keep up the great work! Parabéns de Portugal 🇵🇹 ;)
Thank you CAPCOM for make these great games
Great list. Capcom have some great arcade games. Found a few more on this vid to add to my Mame cabinet thanks. Subscribed. Cheers 👍
Excelente video. Muchos de estos juegos de Arcade ni los conocía.
are you using shaders in the video?
I love the presentation and style of these vids! please keep up the good work!
Watching this I can understand why people want to emulate games. There’s thousands of great arcade games we’ll never play. Hoping for some sort of bundle is near impossible with licenses fees and other companies being greedy with it
Particularly games like "Cadillacs and Dinosaurs" - a great beat-em-up that will likely never be re-released because of licensing issues.
@Retro Storm This - were it not for the emulation community and enthusiasts and hobbyists connected to it, many games would be eventually lost to the ether as hardware and cartridges break down over time. Companies only gave a damn about emulating their older titles when it was clear that it was fairly lucrative, and with the nature of licensing and IP changing hands so many times over the years, it's unlikely we'll ever see re-release of some more obscure games.
Sometime I think our patent law are rampant to even reach simple video games.
Most of the these re release of older games are emulation used by these big companies anyway.
Time to mention all the great composers of Capcom (most of them are ladies) : Tamayo Kawamoto, Harumi Fujita, Manami Mamatsume, Junko Tamiya, Yoko Shimomura, etc.
oye me encanta como divides tus videos por compañia o genero y lo mejor de todo son las joyas ocultas.saludos
Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, The Punisher, and Aliens vs Predator should definitely have been included on the Capcom beat em up bundle collection that they released.
Yeah! But I'm sure there were licensing issues that prevented that form happening.
@Peaceful Skull Gaming

@M-Eightiez You absolute champion 🏆🏆
I didn't know street fighter 1 was on there. I thought it was bad. I'm not saying that game was bad, I actually like. But I just kept hearing it was bad. The only port I like is the Pc Engine CD version
Dude, thank you!
Ah good old school capcom 80s 90s and 2000s love it arcade and video game best series Street Fighter Megaman 1943 Captain Commando SonSon Darkstarlkers Rival School Shantae Power Stone Devil May Cry Marvel Vs Capcom Dead Rising Resident Evil and so much more excellent work capcom we hope your japan USA and UK company vary hard work marry christmas happy new.
Gran video!!
y Mega Man
thanks capcom for ghouls n ghosts, forgotten worlds, strider, Mercs, street fighter for my genesis collection you rock!!
Growing up it felt like Capcom couldn't make a bad game.
Capcom only makes bad decision,
such as Hollywood making Street Fighter and Resident Evil adaptations.
Exelente contenido de Capcom todos los juegos de esta identidad son geniales ya los descargue todos gracias por entregar este contenido...
So many games i have forgotten... Amazing video mate! It helped a lot, to complete my collection. Subscribed and ready to watch every single video of yours! Keep up the good work! THANK YOU FOR SHARING!!!
This was awesome!!! Subscribed!!!
Final Fight - the best sound effects of any game 😎
A well deserved like and Sub for your videos 👍 very nice
The standard of quality Capcom has always kept while releasing so many games is truly amazing.
OMG, I've played a lot of these games when I was a child. This vid really makes me goosebumps.
in Tokyo there are a lot of people still playing old arcade games such as Street Fighter 2 or King of Fighters. I was surprised at first but understand after. These games stood the test of time.
That takes me way back, I used to play most of these games in my local arcade.
They should release more 90’s arcade games in the arcade stadium bundle.
Wal-Mart offered some really good games in sit down mini cabinet form before the pandemic. My GF found PacMan and Gauntlet 1 for around $150. I was hoping to locate some of my favorites: Rygar, Spy Hunter & Mr. Do.
@Peaceful Skull Gaming
ArcadeGeeks, where's that?
Upload`s quality is awesome. Thanks for that.
Todos se ven geniales
Capcom really did put together some great game play ahead of it's time. I miss arcades.
Awesome video mate you can't beat a bit of arcade action smashed the like and 🍏 keep them coming
Capcom had gr8 variety for many years until mid 90s when they became another NEO GEO obsessed with fighting games
AREA88
LOST WORLDS
ALIEN VS. PREDATOR My favorite !
Forgotten Worlds on the Capcom PS2 collection is the way to play it, they redid the controls to fit with a twin analog stick set up and it works great! Give it a try if you like the game or shooters in general.
FACTS!
Thanks so much, I have been trying to recall the game in my childhood and couldnt figure it out until now I seen your video, legendary wings .... thanks .... has been bugging me forever ...
The Best Capcom games to me are: Street Fighter II(All of Them for SNES) and Street Fighter Alpha 3 (PS1)
I’d say my favorite Capcom arcade games were Darkstalkers 1-3, Alien vs Predator, Street Fighter 3rd Strike, Battle Circuit and Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure
Miss arcade times.
You can now bring them into your home.
Muy Bien es hora de los Tiempos de mi Tercera Compañía Favorita de Videojuegos: Capcom. Antes de Mega Man en 1987 existían juegos que no podrás creer que fueron creados por Capcom!!...Así que se diviertan!!

because of this video I was able to find my game that I was playing and I was 10 years old thank you very much it was a real gold nugget this game and thank you again 😂🐻💖👌✈️🔥
Back when most of Capcom's titles actually looked like Japanese arcade games instead of looking like Chinese mobile games.
Zangief arm shotos
Street Fighter is my favorite Capcom series!
Agree but I also still love the others.
If Capcom ever decides to remake Darkstalkers, they should center the main story over the concept of a tournament involving the creatures of supernatural and mythical that must take place once a century and each fighter can represent a faction in the world of the supernatural or mythical that's fighting for something
Before this reboot.
Michael Bay would be perfect for a live-action Darkstalkers movie because he has the budget and edginess for it. he should've made that instead of both Nightmare on Elm Street and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Most of the cast of freaks would be CGI, but Joe Manganiello would be perfect as Demitri, Dwayne Johnson as Anakaris (before turning into a mummy), Stephanie Fox as Morrigan (a busty Scottish model who is dead-on like her), and Willow Shields as Bulleta.
Gun smoke!!!! Genial... Lejos el mejor
This was definitely an interesting video. There were some Capcom games on here that I'm shocked that I didn't know about.
Capcom were the pioneers of the 2d genre...✌️
Mohammed Asif Qureshi *Atari, Magnavox, Texas Instruments, Activision, Imagic, Mattel, Coleco* were probably the most pioneering/best of the first round of 2D consoles, while the first round of pioneers, of 2D Arcade games, the best of which came before their console ports, which were, in turn, often the most sought console games (Atari's shitty Pac-Man port, for the 2600 was still the biggest-selling 2600 game, for the biggest-selling "first gen" consoles (unless you separate out the *Magnavox* Odysseys, as the first gen of consoles, by itself), were *Atari* (starting with Pong, which was the first cabinet success, in 1974, and then Asteroids, Battle Zone and Tempest (3D illusions...), and a million more), *_Taito_* (Space Invaders (THE pioneer that made video games a viable medium), Jungle Hunt, and etc.), *Williams* (Defender, and Joust), and *Namco* (Pac-Man and his family, along with Galaga and its series, and the Pole Positions), and *Konami* (Frogger, Scramble...), along with a few, but great, Donkey Kong games, by *Nintendo,* which *Atari* did the best job of porting, to consoles and home computers -- especially the Atari 8-bit series of home computers, which were the first *great* gaming PCs, which put out arcade-like ports, after being released, in 1979, three years before the Commodore 64 and six years before the NES, both of which the Atari 800 could amazingly rival, particularly for being released, in the 1970s. SEGA was a pioneer, too, although their best were really 3D-looking games, like Moto-Cross, Congo Bongo, & Zaxxon.
CapCom didn't make great, well-known games, until the NES came out, in late 1985, a couple/few years after the video game crash of 1983. They made some great genre games, with their Ghosts n' Goblins platformer (which Nintendo made popular, with their Donkey Kong and Mario Bros. games)) and Schmup's (of which Space Invaders is widely agreed to be the first) like Commando. The 2D fighting genre they can pretty much claim to have pioneered the 2D fighting genre (which is obviously huge, with at least a dozen great series still going), particularly with Street Fighter II. They did some great, 2D, side-scrolling fighting games, but those were made popular by *Data East,* with Double Dragon, before CapCom made some great ones. So, I'd say that CapCom was the *last* of the 2D pioneers -- with the 2D fighting genre -- given that games, since then, have almost exclusively been in genres that were made popular, in the late 1970s and through the first half of the 1980s. Even 3D, first-person shooters were made popular by Battle Zone, in 1980...
No denying CapCom has made some of the best games, in video game history, but given the number and popularity of the 2D genres that a handful of companies pioneered before the NES was even a multi-game arcade cabinet with a console in it, in the summer of '85. That was perhaps the best marketing idea, ever, which became obvious that Christmas, when the NES was every kid's most-wanted gift, after which CapCom started to make some of that consoles best games. The vast bulk of the pioneering had already been done, by that time... 🍻
You need a dictionary dude
Capcom my childhood favourite
I wish old arcades would come back.
Ever heard of MAME?
@matt
Arcade1UP?
I remember 3 wonders, it was like 3 games in one!! That's a good deal!! And Capcom vs SNK is way better than Marvel vs Capcom series!!
Capcom ruled the 80's and early 90's, Maaan!
I have to say, these look like probably the best arcade games I have seen.
But not that I would know, this was before my time.
I have a majority of these arcade games for the PS2 Capcom classics collection.
I was an arcade fanatic in my younger days, and "Last Duel" was one of the best (and graphically beautiful) arcade games I've ever played. I also remember playing the original "Street-Fighter" almost every day, and how even then very few people knew about it until after the release of "Street-Fighter 2." I cut my teeth on fighting games but, as I stated earlier," Last Dual" was just a damn-good (and very challenging) game. I was I could find it for some console or emulator.
Zachary Harris was going to point out the same thing. The Last Duel was awesome.
Loved the ground to air gameplay and it had good music.
Surprised it was never ported to any home console.
capcom awesomeness on this one, level 2 gfx are gorgeous, 16bit computers got terrible ports by us gold as usual, music excepted home computers weren't up to compete anyway.
Cool stuff loved playing some of these games back in the day in the arcades
Lol I totally remember playing Final fight, forgotten worlds, bionic commando, street fighters, mercs and battle of midway . Those were my favorite.
The original Street Fighter.
Best arcade games.
Pick ONE.
38:44 aaahh, i remember this game when my oldest brother and uncle imported this game from Japan to Europe to play at home for the Sega Saturn.
Retro games will be my favorites
In my opinion capcom was the best arcade game developer in the 80's and 90's
I'm totally agree with you.
Not the 80s bro
@Peaceful Skull Gaming like I said before not the 80s their only masterpiece in that decade is Final Fight which was released at the very end of the 80s
Childhoods resurrected. These are my beats, my rhythms, my rhymes.
Guy is my 2nd most favorite character. Ryu is most favorite.
I love arcade games 😎👌
You've done a video for every company I can think of except Midway/Williams.
coming...
Capcom was once king of the aracdes and video games. I used to see the Capcom logo and assume a game was going to good, or at least fun.
Now they're a company that releases a Street Fighter game then gouges customers for every penny due to ridiculous packs of DLC like paying for a pack of extra background stages... At one point, SF5 would have cost you around £300 if you wanted to buy the arcade edition and all DLC from the PS Store. The internet has ruined a lot of gaming. Companies release 80% of a game, then charge you extra to guy the other 20%, and single payer gets practically forgotten so they can focus almost exclusively on online multiplayer. Capcom have fallen a long way.
Gunsmoke with my best friend when we get 14 years ;)
Wolf Chief shotgun. He was a beast.
Cool
You picked my favorite game as your final choice, like #1, I'm automatically your friend now
Capcom went all in on the Street Fighter model for real.
Rival Schools and Marvel VS Street Fighter are my two favourites of all time. Brilliant fighting games :)
I finished a lot of those games, other than the ones like stree fighting, and any fighting game, that i didnt like. To me, black tiger, glory wings, strider, ghost and goblins, the 194xxx series.. were so wonderfull. Capcon really deserves the title of king of arcadw
WOW! Amazing video! What is this filter that you use?
I love the theme of Exes Eyes

Every couple minutes Street Fighter 2 comes back
Every SF Anniversary actually.

Nice filters and game collection.
I was a happy camper when I played Magic Sword in the arcades.
