I'm tempted to see if ebay throws up a reasonably priced copy.

Are even WDs expensive these days? These 90s ones aren't exactly rare, worth a couple of quid at most.

I found that buying job lots of WD was most cost effective - if you are in the market for a few. The surplus could always be sold on if you have the inclination. This edition was one of my favourites, I spent hours looking through it when WD was my only real contact with the game.

I checked the current price for this issue, yeah, between £5 and £10 a copy. I think I managed to get issue 99 for about £7.50 a year or so ago. Roughly. But yes, trying to get a job lot of them sound like a good idea. Ones from this era are when I started collecting. I think it was issue 199 or 200 that was my first, but issue 205 seems to ring a bell too. I should really look to see what covers that period.

@@adamwindhammer4339 yes. A single bulk lot is how I picked up most of my pre-issue-190 collection. Worked out less than £1 an issue but I did have to drive to Cardiff to collect them. They were in immaculate condition though, hardly been read. Not like my thoroughly-thumbed dog-eared rags!

not to make them SS like but then use the British fascist symbol from the 1930's🤣 (I doubt it was intentional though.)

I think the fascist symbol probably was intentional, although we're in the era of 'the imperium are the good guys' here so maybe not.
