Man, this video is fantastic. Listening to conversations between two photographers I like is always good, but doing it in this context rather than a podcast or whatever is really interesting.
Gosh dude!!.. Japan is very colorful and hv a lot of unique characters, I'm super jealous couse my place is boring and sht all over the place.. Wish i can go there someday
Met Alex at the Shibuya gallery in January, cool dude. I saw you and we said whats up on the day before the last day of the exhibit but we didn't get a chance to talk. Cool video with you two.
Great way to go out and have fun with people and your camera. Just for curiosity: what is the legal situation in Japan regarding taking pictures of people?
Useful insights into human nature connections for portraits - takes a certain personality to do properly and honestly. Lukasz gravitates to gritty parts of town, strip clubs and people sporting “sex” button. Also insightful.😁
@EYExplore , Paulie b is nyc based street photographer. And in 2022 !! he started doing photowalks\interviews. I guess OP is suggesting that you are imitating paulie by walking with Alex and talking to him on camera. What a novel concept, i know, right😂😂
@@Mudganon59 Wow in the ancient times of 2022!! A real pioneer ahead of his time! No shade to Paulie B. But to claim that we are imitating him... for real? :)
Thanks for having me on! See you again. ;)
It was fun!
It seems the key is to notice (and approach) people who look like they want to be noticed - e.g., lady with red hair. Human nature.
@@paulm8157 That is a good way to look at it! :)
Alex just blew my mind with what he's doing.
That's great! :)
Love that Alex made the interaction so easy!
He's got a knack for it! :)
Wow, alex is incredible, and I must say I liked his portraits a lot !
Awesome! Glad to hear that! :)
Next Next Level of DigitalRev TV 🤘
Oh, those are huge shoes to fill! :)
As much as I love digital photos there’s something extremely special with the colors that come out of low speed film. Amazing work Alex
Totally agree! :)

That's great to hear!! We have more on the way! :)
Alright! It's great seeing you both, and images, on one video. Boom!
Thanks man! :)
Two very different photographers collaborating is great to see! Great video!
Thank you! :)

Yeah! Thank you for watching! :)
Loving today's Strider and Fletch Photo Show! Do it again -- maybe add Fox Mulder, Ulysses, too!
Haha! :)
Just watching Alex chat up all these people on the street makes my introvert mind go 📈🤯haha
Haha yeah, I kinda feel the same way. :)
Hey Lukasz,
Im the guy you met right after finishing this video. Felt great seeing what you were doing before i met you guys.
Oh hey! Yeah, it was nice meeting you! Thanks for saying hello! :)
Enjoyable video. I would have been really interested to hear more about the film and flash set up and how exposure on film is determined.
Thanks! Yeah, I supposed I should have asked more about that aspect of what Alex does.
Most captivating human photography video❤
Thank you very much! :)
So great to see both of you together! 🙏
Glad you liked it! It was a looooong time coming. I think we first discussed it like three years ago. :)
An all-stat team-up!
Haha. :)
Great video - Please more like this - Thank you Lukas and Alex!

Thank you so much for coming to that exhibition! :)

There's no limit of taking photos of people there as long as you respect the boundaries of their privacy
It's totally fine to take photos of people in public places.
Great shot at 21:16 🤩
Ughhhh...
Can someone link me to the old vid they did together on Alex’s channel?
It's funny cuz that feels pretty recent in my mind, but it was a few years ago now...
5:50 the cojones😂😂😂👏👏👏
LOL :)

Hahaha, you know me well. :)
I would suggest not bringing a film photographer again. Makes digital look so boring and processed
Soooo, it's a ...good thing? Cuz the film photos are cool right?
everyone's trying to imitate paulie b lmfao
How so? Do you think bro invented taking pictures of people in the city💀
or do you mean imitating paulie is talking to other human being on camera
Who is that?

Very wise, @alexKumar-qi7ds about the conversation with people. I'm not just taking, I'm also giving.
Well said! :)
