I'm so very sorry for your loss. I was also a child of the foster care system. After about 20 plus BAD fosters, I got just the RIGHT Family, and after I aged out I still kept in very close contact. As I finally had gotten married and found out I was expecting my first child, I got the dreaded call, from another foster that I shared a room with. I was told if I wanted to say goodbye, I needed to head from NY To Mass. Immediately. I left as soon as I hung up the phone. Got to sit with her, as she told me how proud she was of me. Asked if she could feel my belly, and feel the baby. She passed the next day as I was on my way back home.

honestly i am so glad my dad had me listen to Jim croce growing up. i’m 16 and i’ve been obsessed with jim’s music since i was a little🤎 and every song reminds me of how my dad would walk me to my bus stop everyday and how he’d play his guitar ❤️
