The - indicates a tongue split. 2 holes played at the same time out of each corner of the mouth blocking the middle holes with the tongue. Ex 1-4 would indicate holes 1 and 4 draw blocking the holes in between (2,3) with the tongue. The * indicates a scooping note. Starting slightly bent and releasing.
