Question for Brenda - can you share which piece is hanging next to the piece you stitched for your mother? I’m intrigued by the monochromatic deep wine piece. It looks like one from The Heart’s Content in the coverlet series. If you recall I would appreciate it.
Oh my gosh, I got such a chuckle about running errands with your husband, mine does the same thing! It puts me into super cranky mode! Loved seeing all the Halloween goodies. I have so many of those favored charts and have also stitched many of them. They hang on my walls all year long. And yes, I stitched "Smell Your Feet" and I absolutely love it! All those gorgeous samplers, how can I possibly choose the next one when there are sooooo many sitting in my stash! Have a great trip to Hobby House! Happy stitching (green heart and needle) Oh and Laura, just tell Brenda that "the force is with you" so no ghouls or goblins will get you in the car!

Several hours later & I'm still chucking! Great flosstube! One of the 1st episodes that I watched, Laura had the bent chart. The fear of God, my Mother & Laura was put in me. Mind you, I would never fold a chart & never will! Brenda, I hope you survived your time out! I need to shout out the Nebraska Cornhuskers! Also, The Wizard of Oz rules & 1962 is a fantastic year!! I had the pleasure of having Caroline Sheldon at my table last year at the Prim Stitchers retreat at Hobby House. She was so much fun and a pleasure to talk to. Glad she is coming out with so many beautiful designs.
Hello, Hello!! So glad to see my favorite FlossTubers! Brenda, I just finished the Coleus and the Pear. It was such a fun fast stitch. And it's gorgeous! I also finished Mary Ann Smith earlier this year. I am so proud of me for that. It took some time as I am a slow stitcher, but I leaned into it and got it done. I used DMC on it because I just can't afford to get all those silks. Nevertheless, it's still quite beautiful. I am so glad to see Ann Hilton. I liked the chart so much that I inadvertently bought it twice. It may be a new start, but I need to work on Florence Mary Dickinson first. She is a beauty. I have been working on Martha Evans as well. But I have made so many mistakes that I am going to start over. It just needs to be done. Some people say to do gridding to help keep on track. I may but that takes so long too and I just want to stitch, I have to learn to count. That seems to be my problem. Who taught me, low those many centuries ago?!?!? Anyway, thanks for another joyful visit. And once again, you guys are my favorite!!!

Thank you!!!!! I got your email, but have not had a second to answer it yet...I am working on that request for you....just have to find the chart as it might be at my Mom's house.
Brenda I have a piece you need to stitch for Laura! “Don’t make me call my flying monkeys!” Lolol. I need the backstory as to why she thinks they’d be in her car or following her!🤣 As always, thanks for sharing all the designs. Thanks for having pieces in timeout. Thanks for NOT sharing that you having started ‘10 new samplers’ for September!😉😉 Thanks for being my friends that I look forward to hearing from every couple of weeks and you don’t even know me! 😂
You showed Sampler Dogs and Charlotte Murdoch. Another wonderful dog themed sampler ( that I have a tiny little start on) is Pet All the Dogs by Theresa Kogut.
I asked Barrie if the ‘Oh Say’ on those t shirts was from Laura. She responded ‘ whose voice do you hear when you read it?’ Well Laura’s of course. Thanks for letting us know about Steph’s flosstube! She was so kind to help me with my Summer School spider bite . 😊
Hi Brenda and Laura, so glad I caught this week's program! How fun to see all the stitchy things, laugh with you (even Ms Crabby Owl now that her crabbiness has subsided, how cute though!), I just love you two! Oh and I often have wondered who finishes the non-framed pieces- what wonderful work your finishers do! Like I have said before, cross stitching is beyond me, but I have some ideas for embroidery :). See you two in a couple weeks! Until then may your days be pleasant and your nights filled with wonderful dreams! ❤
Oh! Embroidery!!! There are so many great things out there to embroider!!!!! If I knew how to embroider I would go to the Charlotte Lyons Etsy shop and order everything. Here is a link: www.etsy.com/shop/charlottelyons?ref=shop-header-name&listing_id=1250290796&from_page=listing

OMG... The flying monkeys, I laughed so hard my husband came into my craft room to see what waas so funny! Halloween Memories is AMAZING!!!!! I also quilt so I'm in 7th heaven over this book
Good Morning Ladies! Today is my husband's Birthday. What a wonderful way to start the day watching your video as I wait for him to wake up! Thank you for your time.
Oh Laura - btw those things at the top of the PS pattern are gekos. They are funny little things. I've seen them as small as an inch and as big as 6 inches (that one was under a box in my kitchen.) They freeze when they see you. If you just stay still they will start doing what looks like pushups. That is their 'warning'!! haha. They also change colors to blend in with what is around them. Actually, while they might startle you with their quick movements, they are cute. My husband also works at home and only gets out of the house about 1x a week when we go out to eat and grocery shopping. I work in office 5 days a week and only want to stay home all weekend. I get it!
I grew up in Oregon, Il, and graduated from WIU, but when my dad was watching the NIU/Notre Dame game, I had to root for them! What a stunner! Also, go Bears! Although I missed Sundays game. 😢
Laura, I feel for you and shopping with a spouse. For several years I was the driver in our household and I just took my stitching with me and waited in the car. Made these trips much easier. ❤ Sorry about the monkeys but I must confess I chuckled along with Brenda.
Thank you oodles. On the HOT day in California- you two kept me company and… yes- enabled me in several ways. Thank you especially for sharing your finishing favs. I was desperate. Now I need a framer. 😮. Happy Sampler Stitching. ❤
Wowie! Glad to see you back again!! Speaking of 1987 work, I am doing a 1987 Santa by CrossStitch &Country CraftsNov Dec 1987 magazine. Quite the challenge for these old eyes, but I keep plugging along a year and a half later..!!! Absolutely love all the stitchy stuff you two share w/us!!
Love all your sampler charts you showed and I think I may need a few including that new Lori Rippey fall design. Loved the fashion show and all your new cute shirts. Can’t wait for your next Floss Tube.
I don’t know which was funnier-the flying monkeys upsetting Laura or how tickled Brenda was! 🤣 You ladies are a hoot!! I have been talking myself out of Emaline, but I caved and had to pause the video and run right over to Acorns and Thread. LOL I have so self-control!!! Happy stitching. Hugs. ❤

Thank you!!!!! I got your email, but have not had a second to answer it yet...I am working on that request for you....just have to find the chart as it might be at my Mom's house.
@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410 Thanks so much Laura. Know you both are very busy. Look forward to hearing from you. I’ll be patient🥰
It is always fun seeing you guys, you are so inspiring.
Thank you so much Sylvia!
Brenda I have a piece you need to stitch for Laura! “Don’t make me call my flying monkeys!” Lolol. I need the backstory as to why she thinks they’d be in her car or following her!🤣
As always, thanks for sharing all the designs. Thanks for having pieces in timeout. Thanks for NOT sharing that you having started ‘10 new samplers’ for September!😉😉 Thanks for being my friends that I look forward to hearing from every couple of weeks and you don’t even know me! 😂
Thank you so much Jan!!!!!!!!!!!
I love that Lords Prayer on the wall behind Laura - it's beautiful.
It really is. Brenda found it in an antique shop!
You showed Sampler Dogs and Charlotte Murdoch. Another wonderful dog themed sampler ( that I have a tiny little start on) is Pet All the Dogs by Theresa Kogut.
That is a wonderful sampler! Glad you are stitching it Ann Marie!
Great video! Brenda I always enjoy hearing your two cents!😊
Brenda always has a good 2 cents! Thank you Beverley!
Omg worrying about flying monkeys 😂 we love you so much.
I am still a little fearful...............
You guys are the best. Thanks for doing these videos
Thank you for watching Donna!
Steph was helpful to me too!!!! Thanks Jen!!!!!
I just love u guys. Beautiful stitches and lots of laughs. 😂
Thank you Nan!

@@justinerogers1353 I know she has some....I should get some too!!!!!
Brenda, I’m stitching that Lords Prayer by Lila’s Studio and love it. I got the idea from Lori Holt to stitch as my Sunday stitch. I’m using the DMC threads. It fun and beautiful.
Forgot to say I’ve also put some stitches in Jane Thompson this week. Another beauty.
Great idea for a Sunday stitch Connie!!!

Bought 2 hoodies!! Perfectly perfect!! Thank you!!

Good Morning Ladies! Today is my husband's Birthday. What a wonderful way to start the day watching your video as I wait for him to wake up! Thank you for your time.
Thank you Cathy!!! and Happy Birthday to your husband!
I get it!
Thank you for understanding Dana!!!! and those gekos sound cute....in theory!
Laughing so hard about the car ride home! You two are the best!
Thank you!!! I made it home safely! Phew!
I grew up in Oregon, Il, and graduated from WIU, but when my dad was watching the NIU/Notre Dame game, I had to root for them! What a stunner! Also, go Bears! Although I missed Sundays game. 😢
Thank you for your support!!
Thank you for such an enjoyable video! I love looking at all the patterns and projects.
Thank you Linda!
Laura, I feel for you and shopping with a spouse. For several years I was the driver in our household and I just took my stitching with me and waited in the car. Made these trips much easier. ❤ Sorry about the monkeys but I must confess I chuckled along with Brenda.
Thank you Katherine!!!!!
Loved your video. You are both so much fun to watch.
Thank you Sandy!
You two are the most fun! :D
Thank you Kim!
Thank you oodles. On the HOT day in California- you two kept me company and… yes- enabled me in several ways. Thank you especially for sharing your finishing favs. I was desperate. Now I need a framer. 😮. Happy Sampler Stitching. ❤
Thank you so much for watching! Try Total Framing in Virginia or Bennett Galleries in Knoxville, TN.
Thank you so sincerely. 😊@@brendaandtheserialstarter2410
You ladies made my giggle about the flying monkeys😂. I guess watching Wicked is out of the question! Enjoyed the video!
You know what is very strange??? I (Laura) saw Wicked about 3 times and I really loved it. I cannot explain this.
Thank you Marilyn! Keep working on that beautiful Santa until he is done! Marching orders!
I always enjoy you two and the neat things you come up with. Yes, loving college football.

Oh Maureen...if Brenda sees this you are in big trouble!!!!
I am not afraid! 😅
@@maureenmullarkey7150 You say that now.....but.....
Hugs. ❤
You will be very glad when it arrives Joyce!!! It is a must have chart!
Ladies great video…I don’t like flying monkeys either!! Always check your back seat for anything that should not be there. Love your enthusiasm and stitching. Oh say I love stitching.
Thank you!!!!!!!
