  • People have been requesting a step by step video on installing a BBSHD on the RX. In this video, I discuss the steps on what is required, but didn't remove the BBSHD. The next follow up video to this one will be a sponsored type of video on a new mid motor install. In that video, I will do a removal of the BBSHD, talk about some details when I installed it. The new video focus on the new motor installation.
    I also to the opportunity to test the Skydio 2, I have to say very smart drone, the AI is awesome. The drone is extremely fast, need to run some more tests with out the 8ft ceiling setup.

    Nice work. You mention that you installed this on an S2 in the previous video, did you have to cut the frame on the S2 to fit the mid-drive? Any reason you chose to add a left thumb throttle vs. a right twist throttle? Love to check this out on the next group ride.

    Please make an actual video of the install. You got a nice setup with a bike stand and everything. If People could see the full install , they would buy bbshd or similar .

    If the throttles are the same you might be able to splice them into one all nice and neat with solder, and shrink wrap. That would be crazy.

    • @ericMT
      @ericMT 2 года назад

      You don’t want the throttles linked together. You use them at different times at different levels depending on where you are riding. It’s just difficult to use 2 throttles.

    Looks like you had to remove the pedal assist sensor from S73? I'm going through this build right now and it seems there isn't enough room to include it on the square drive peg of the BBSHD.

  • @eliotdangerflash
    @eliotdangerflash 3 года назад +1

    What did you use to cut the frame? Also wondering if the 10 speed upgrade from S73 is good enough to help with hills instead of having to add the mid-drive.

    • @eliotdangerflash
      @eliotdangerflash 3 года назад

      @@redhoodebikes884 thanks for the reply! Another question about the frame modification you had to make: how invasive of a modification was it? If I wanted to return the RX to "stock conditions" would that be impossible to do with the frame cut? What exactly are you cutting on the frame? It looks like might be one of the flanges seen at 2:20 on this super73 video. ruclips.net/video/OQ93jVycNog/видео.html are those flanges just to mount a chain guard?
