I know we like how brutally honest violet is and all, but she is so impossible to actually please, I don’t feel like she suits fashion photo review because her standards are just astronomical. I love violet don’t get me wrong but I feel like there needs to be an element of actually enjoying seeing other peoples art rather than JUST stone faced reviewing it as a fashion piece. It’s drag. Drag is fun!

@@shiftxshy she definitely has a sharp eye and I don’t always disagree with her on a fashion standpoint but she’s not judging it necessarily as runway model fashion, it’s drag fashion and drag art so she kind of takes the fun out of it in a way
idk, it's called "fashion photo ruview" for a reason. She likes very draggy styles, it's just that she criticizes the execution.

Raja and Raven disagree less than once per episode, and All Stars 7 had 12 episodes total, so it's actually a lot of disagreement

Gottmik is for sure the "Nicer Sidekick" to the "Villain". I think they were correct a lot of the time tho, Violet was just a bit harsh on Raja - probably cuz her expectations were skyhigh. It was an All Winners Season after all.
They were absolutely wrong most of the time. Violet thinks anyone who’s skinny and white serves fashion and doesn’t consider anything else, and Mik (as seen from the fact that there was like 100 looks this season and they disagree 11 times) is too scared to disagree with her.

Does anybody else feel like Violet tried very hard to give that Pit Stop vibe (the episode of Lala Ri's infamous ball look), but the heart and fun was missing in this FPR and Gottmik was just having a cosy gig with his best friend. Also two best friends agreeing shouldn't be THAT controversial, come on Internet people, stop being petty (haters).

I’d personally like a diff host in place of gottmik just because I think it’s more entertaining to see two people who know fashion but have different tastes talking. I think it also helps the viewers learn about fashion and see more opinions and stances reflected in FPR. Not to mention, it allows for a better dynamic overall because they can more immediately bounce off of eachother in the short amount of time they actually have to talk about each look.
Having said that, I do adore gottmik and violet’s vibes together, but I prefer to watch that in No Gorge. This is because they actually have the time to chat and warm up. They take a little while to begin bouncing off of eachother, and they do it best within more lengthy conversations. I think they are most entertaining when they have the time to talk, and that simply isn’t available on FPR.
I hope our next season of FPR brings on a different queen with different tastes, who can keep up with Violet even if they aren’t exactly on the same wavelength.
100%. She knows how much the internet ate those 2 pit stop episodes up and everyone called her iconic and the queen of fashion and blah blah. She even tried to recreate it for the season 14 ball pit stop episode and do the exact same thing. I guess she assumed that we all thought saying every look is bad is what we loved. But those were ball episodes very early in the season on a non winners season, a lot of them were actually bad and deserved those comments. Here she tried wayyy too hard to recreate that despite the looks being incredible and it just didn’t work. It also felt way too judgey because they’re all past winners. I honestly think they both wanted to be considered the fashion icons more so than raja which is why they wouldn’t give her any props lol. But yes the internet went way too hard over some opinions.
Trixie even said they had to edit so much of her negative critiques because they were too mean so, I think that’s just violet lol. Let’s hope she competes and puts her money where her mouth is 🔥

I actually like Mik in FPR she just need a softer partner so they can have fun together. Even though they are from the same season I would like to see her with Symone or maybe with Gigi Goode.
I'd prefer Naomi Smalls who actually knows her fashion references, alongside Miss Fame (to critique hair & makeup) or Sasha Velour (who understands art scene references).
