Who's here in 2024? Just back from Birmingham Symphony Hall after seeing Bellowhead last night, November 22nd. Just fantastic! RIEP Paul - you'll never be forgotten.
it was pretty much the same at glasgow in feb! i was there at the front trying to get a jig with everyone and they weren't having it. totally shocking, but not like i cared. i danced like an absolute idiot and loved every second of it. :)
Absolute and true musicians. You want to know what it is like to be in a band and to be totally relaxed, just take a look at Rachel. (shaking her toosh and being a damn right minx!)
Here is the bloody joke innit, my first instrument was a trombone and my dad was a folk singer. Later on I taught myself the melodion before it fell to bits and in my latter days I played the flute and the whistle, but this was back in the day before any of these puppies were born. Not that I do not like the music but you know I think sometimes you have to have a sense of proportion and not forget what they are building there popularity and commercial fame on.
The front row should be ashamed of themselves. What's the point of getting to the front then standing about like stiffs? Names should be taken and lifelong bans issued

How could anyone go to a Bellowhead gig and not throw themselves about in joy and come out grinning like a madman afterwards? Miss them.

I hope the sound in the hall was better than what's on this recording.

Because TV has turned them into passive observers.
They should be made to go and stand at the back like lemons.
