@ITSMRK15 Thanks for watching! I think I had some leftover Fantasy Flight game sleeves for this one. For now, I think I'll be going to KingSleeves depending on availability. Still waiting on my KickStarter from them which is in the process of shipping now. :)
@@DaletheCasualGamer thanks mate! I’m tossing up between ultra pro normal and the ultra pro lite due to availability in Australia. I don’t see a lot of shuffling in this game.
@Shawn Gabrish Good news! I'll have more Dice Throne Stuff you'll need to get coming. Miniatures and Dice Throne Adventures. I went all-in on the last KickStarter, and it was well worth it! :)
Ahhhhhhh! Another streamer I watch getting their shipment before me! I still don’t have my shipping notification. Dice Throne is by far my favorite competitive game and I am stoked for Adventures so I can play solo.
@Scot Phelps Looks like this game was very sporadic on shipping, I saw lots of others getting there's before me. Hope yours shows up soon! It really is a fun dice-chucking game! :)
Another game to add to the list! Would you suggest going for the Rerolled set over just the original? Or what would be the best to jump into for this game?
@Mathew Allen I'd suggest Rerolled. I did have the 1st edition, but liked the component changes. There really isn't any difference in the game play, just the look, and being a bit OCD, I wanted to match the season 2 look. :)
If you are just starting, I would pick up Season 2 Gunslinger vs Samurai. It’s a great introduction to the game and the characters are low complexity. If you like the game, then any set after that 😀
I’m interested in Dice Throne for solo play. As a beginner, do you think I should purchase the season boxes or just the one with two characters? And if so, which two characters would be best to get started with?
@Daniell Wong It's a bit expensive going all-in on this game (I just did), but each character does have their own unique abilities. Each character also has their own difficulty rating to play, ranging from 1 (easy) to 6 (hardest). Season 1 has the Barbarian (1), Moon Elf (2), Pyromancer (3), Monk (4), Paladin (5), Shadow Thief (5), Ninja (2), and Treant (6). Season 2 has the Samurai (2), Gunslinger (2), Seraph (3), Vampire Lord (3), Huntress (4), Cursed Pirate (4), Tactician (5), and Artificer (6). So if you go with a box, either will do. If you go for just a couple to get started, I'd recommend two that you like the theme and probably start in the 1 to 3 or 4 range. I'll be starting a campaign with the Barbarian to get started, but have heard the others in the 2ish range are good to start with. For a solo/cooperative game, you will need Dice Throne Adventures. The base game was competitive play. Hope that helps, and happy gaming! :)
@Daniel Craig My group really enjoyed the original version (that I sold once I backed this) as a group competitive game ... and now I'm hoping to get the new stuff to the table as a cooperative game. I'll be highlighting all the new stuff this week. :)
Thanks for flashing that discount code for the miniatures, saved me a few bucks. =D
You bet! :)
I'm ordering this set today! I've never been so excited for a board game in my life! I'm like a kid at Christmas 🎄
Merry May Christmas!! :)
