Its actually the original jeanne that he managed to convert into an alter which should normally be impossible but fate franchise is know to make rules just to break them anyway.
Fgo kinda spitted on every rule Nasu ever made, and not only Nasu. Like Gudao could conquer the whole universe with all those servants that don't need to eat, rest or require any sorts of juice, and he can summon them as many as he wants. Though yeah, everything apart from the main story ain't canon, and there Gudao's only servant is Mash, and those who live only one chapter.
@@H0elessRomantic1 everything is canon in fgo. The servant system literally doesn't give a damn about servants being from the future.(but again, we already knew this from emiya being a thing) I mean, the fucking mooncell story being canon( how else would King protea even exist, and she was in lost belt 7 which is part of the main story, and so is jinako because she was sent by bb in lost belt 4) alone pretty much strip any doubt about the canon of every other work. And that s just like how the same servant can't be summoned multiple times at once in an era yet in fate requiem there s literally 4 elisabeth lancer holding a live regularly. @@H0elessRomantic1You seem to miss the fact that Nasu himself regularly "spits on his own lore" whenever he comes up with something cooler or easier to write.
I think this Jeanne is the Jeanne after she was burnt to the steak, and not the altercation of Gilles to be the Dragon Witch No dragons, just the Fire she was killed in.
The Jeanne we know is classified as a Ruler purely due to her status as the patron saint of France. However, when I first saw Jeanne in the promotions for Apocrypha, I, like many others, thought she was a lancer. As a lancer, she's just herself; just as human, and therefore just as potentially subject to corruption as the rest of us, even if only for a moment. This version of her personality could then be interpreted as the kind of woman she was meant to become, if not for the vision of a continued monarchy. It seems that Chiemon was/somewhat still is a pious man, but his desire to avenge his friends and family is stronger than his piety. He's praying to God to punish the ones who wronged him, but not because he thinks God would, but rather thinks they should, and God doesn't like being told what to do, even about things they might be already doing in the background. In essence, God could've sent full power ruler Jeanne, but the guy couldn't help keeping his technically impure thoughts out of it, so the scales, now being influenced by a thing that a human says is doing an inadequate job, is now getting regular Jeanne. I'm still happy for French toast babe.
Maybe that book he can read the content but Chiemon is a fictional character or another nickname during the edo period. Sinced he is also a mage who knows ancient magic during the peasant revolt in Shimabara.
Spoiler's for what Lancer is exactly . . . . . . . . . .This is the real Jeanne turned alter, instead of saving everyone, she wants to try to save only her master, which kinda goes against all she stands for, greatly weakening her to the point where she's able to be altered by Chiemon's fucked up head iirc, theres some details I'm missing, but thats basically whats explained from the material book, this is basically the true Jalter
It's funny how a French commander who's formerly a peasant w/ minimum training from the 100 years war can be a 5-star servant and my boi Cu who's a demi-god warrior from a celtic myth who held back multiple armies in a war is a mere 3-star servant. LoL. FGO logic at it's finest.
I saw people trying to find explanations like: - Only the Avenger version of Jalter cannot be summoned, because the original Jeanne never had this feeling of revenge for those who condemned (or something like that) so this Jalter is another Jeanne Alter molded from another context - This is not exactly Jalter, but the Lancer version of Jeanne (I saw that this was discarded because the art book i guess referred to her as being Jalter, not Jeanne) - Following the same idea of only the Avenger version not being summonable, so the throne just assigned its Spirit Core to another Class
he didn't, he summoned proper Jeanne, whom saw into his heart, pretty much said "I can fix (save his soul) him, and was corrupted as the result. tldr she is the TRUE Jeanne de Arc (Alter), WHICH SHOULD NOT BE POSSIBLE
So this is the same as Alcides? Master used hatred to corrupt jeanne lancer into lancer alter? But unlike alcides, she justaccepts that god does not love her. Ruler Jeane is a saintess but lancer jeanne is just a normal girl who fought and betrayed she is depressed but does not hold grudges like jalter but not forgiving like ruler.
I think it's more that there is no Jeanne Lancer and by becoming Jeanne d'Ark Lancer, she sucks. Her powers are greatly weakened being put in a class she doesn't belong.
I think, we are starting to misuse the word "goth" a little bit. But idk, I need to learn what it exactly means too Edit: nevermind. It's stigmatising af, but it applies really well to her.
I wonder if perhaps Chiemon is why Jalter is so over the top and sweary. How he acted wrote onto her spirit origin, thereby making her our loveable dorky Jalter.
Avenger Jalter: endless rage and hate
Berserker Jalter: where the manuscript
Lancer Jalter: depression
depression and edgy
Reminder, this isn’t Jalter, it’s Jeanne being “evil” because she’s trying to relate to Chiemon and really REALLY wants to save him, but can’t.
Jalter being chill and speak without cursing ten times on a sentence?

I still don't understand what he did to summon Jalter outside FGO
It's a Jeanne Alter, but not the one Gilles created with the grail. Just a different aspect manifested when he tried to summon the original.
I saw people trying to find explanations like:

because that's not Jalter but Jeanne True Alter
This isn't an Alter
This is the real Jeanne if she were summoned in any class other than Ruler which amplified her Saint personality.

Jeanne D" Arc True Alter
since when did she become this calm
It's her avenger nature that causes her to be this salty all the time
Even her berserker form is calmer
Jalter is also a completely separate being created by the Grail, where as this is actually Jeanne and could be see as her ‘true’ Alter form.
