Magnetic field lines depend on the current, it’s strength and the angle between the current and magnetic field lines. Magnetic field lines will be greater and stronger if the angle between the current carrying conductor and magnetic field lines is 90, that is if magnetic files lines are perpendicular to the plane (current carrying conductor) than greater number of field lines will pass through the surface. Since we said that area vector is always perpendicular to the surface, so the angle between the plane and area vector will be 90 and we’re also saying that magnetic field lines will be stronger if the angle between current and magnetic field lines is 90 so the angle between area vector and magnetic field lines should be zero in order to get maximum flux. Hope it helps...
