I have tickets for this show in about two weeks (and I'm front row! I've never sat front row before!) but I've see Great Comet three times and I'm genuinely concerned that every time I hear "Petersburg" my brain just goes to Lucas Steele's "PEEEEEETEEEEERSBUUUUUUURG!"
I was just talking about this with someone! I'm glad you agree! For me its the subject matter too--in Newsies there is a very similar love hate relationship with the city that raised them running through a lot of the songs.

So I've played this at least song at least once a day most days since I first stumbled across it... And if I've missed a day, I usually make it up the next day.

Literally 3 songs ago he was complaining how the revolution was going nowhere and that he's starving in the streets nothings changing and he grew up stealing for warmth and food, IN WHAT VERSE DOES HE DESCRIBE LOVING PETERSBURG ??
If u don't mind me asking, how early did u get there? And any other tips would be helpful. I'm planning on seeing them this year during the Columbus circle concert
