A great video.... it would be absolutely perfect if they managed to interview a female steel worker as rightly said on here, of whom without the in the 40's when the men were sent to war, the plant would not have remained open. Proud, hard working Welsh women putting in the graft, no messing yer like...... coming from a chuffed valley boy myself 🏴🏴
My Father grew up in Ebbw Vale in the 50s, we were there for a visit yesterday so I had a look on youtube to see if I could find anything on the history of the place. I found it! Thanks for making this video, very important to have it as a record of a once-thriving industrial community and lovely to hear all the stories from the men who worked there. Thanks again, and let's hope the future brings good fortune to the people of Ebbw Vale and the Valleys as a whole.
