Fun fact: one of the rappers - the girl in pink (second rapper in batter up)- is one of the aces of the group and a really good singer (the other ace, and public fav and potentional leader, Ahyeon had to sit out Batter Up and SITM due to health reasons but is returning for their April album, and will be apart of BU and SITM rerecordings), whereas the other rapper is an all-rounder like the other girls and will likely be main dancer. Highly recommend watching their pre-debut song Dream, or their performances from the Last Evaluation to see how insanely talented and versatile they are (its why part of their name is “monster” bc they’re so good, while the “baby” speaks to their ages, as the members are 14-21)
You definitely have to watch their journey as a trainees and their member introductions from their channel, its all worth it to watch and react! And also, in april 1, they gonna be releasing a mini album as 7 complete members 🫶🏻
They were actually known for their vocals in their pre debut era. 5 of them are vocalists. You can still check out those pre debut releases tho😅 especially haram, rora, ahyeon and pharita. they were doing great performances
Since y'all didn't know about this being released, I'm guessing y'all didn't watch the recent YG special announcement video about Babymonster. From that video: 1. Ahyeon is health, back from hiatus, and will be in content starting in April. 2. February 1 = "Stuck in the Middle" pre-release. 3. April 1 = mini album release. "Batter Up" and "Stuck in the Middle" are being re-recorded to include Ahyeon. 4. Fall this year = full album release. 5. YG Entertainment went from 10 in house producers to around 40-50 in house producers. This means more songs being made with a faster release schedule for all artists under YGE.
