I couldn’t cope with last minute packing. If I’ve got a holiday, I have a list, and I’m pretty much packed up at least a week ahead except for last minute stuff. So much less stressful.

Ive often wondered what is stopping someone pick up your luggage and take it.. no one would stop them unless the owner spotted it and they could just apologise‘whoops my mistake’ ..hope you have a good holiday

We hope that you had a lovely time after all the stress of the travel. My (sadly late) best friend used to pack a week before travel! Yes she was that organised 😀. I'm not! We hope that the triple room share wasn't a shock...
This happened to us in lanzarote. My husbands case was taken by an older women and he somehow had her luggage. He opened his case to find a load of frocks lol, it got sorted out in the end. You will eventually laugh about this disaster. Enjoy your holiday and hope it gets much less stressful. X

I know this won’t help you now but we bought luggage straps with our surname on so that we could easily identify our cases. They’re from Amazon and fairly inexpensive. Hope you all have a lovely holiday x
Oh gosh exactly the same thing happened to us in Turkey many years ago - arrived to find both our suitcases had gone missing - and friends only had one between them! You certainly know who your friends are when they share their knickers with you (a new pack I hasten to add 😄) Unfortunately it did take 3 days for them to turn up so hopefully yours won't be as long! Enjoy the rest of your stay anyway and hope your colds clear up!
I've only just seen this flog omg Carla how do you stay so calm? I never really thought about the hard work needed to sell on ebay etc, it's crazy. A holiday well earned and I hope the prat who took Natalie's bag was pleased with himself,I mean, how did he not know? Anyway enjoy yourselves!

I can get that frenzied just trying to work out what to wear if I'm going out some days. Lord knows how I'd be going abroad ...is it yet another age thing? Total respect to you going in the loft. I'm a loft virgin. I'd likely have an accident and not be found for days 😆.... as an arachnaphobe just seeing cobwebs up there equals panic! Heck - I have to steel myself for days just to go in my shed!! I hope there's a holiday vlog coming - we know that Nat got her suitcase at some point, so hopefully all ended in a fab holiday for you girls. x
I always put broken glass in the bottle bank, not sure if that's right! And I couldn't be packing as late as that and without a list, the stress would be too much for me! I have to do it well in advance. I hope the case turned up and you had a lovely holiday.
Not 100% sure but don't think it should go in bottle bank! I did read why but I've forgotten!

My sons case got lost years ago on a family holiday and it took 4 days to turn up and by then I think every old man had offered him clothes to wear bless. Hope you enjoyed.

What a bad start to your holiday, it'll be much better now I'm sure. I know its a bit horse after its bolted etc but when we travel we split our luggage equally between the cases, so at least you have some stuff if one goes missing. Looking forward to your next holiday vlog x

Oh no Carla how awful for you. We had that happen to us once but at least it was when we arrived home so not so much of a problem for us. My daughter flew to Dalaman yesterday. I do hope Natalie gets her case back soon. Enjoy your holiday xx

I've heard that some people just go round taking suitcases just for the fun of it and to see what treasures are inside , hope this is not the case for poor Natalie ..!!!!
I actually think all this airport crap is to stop us going anywhere , we got so sick of it that we took a cruise out of our home town this year . My daughter paid British Airways prices to San Fran last month and her cases went missing for 4 days , not a penny of compensation !! I am sure the rest of your holiday will be lovely and bet Nat s case turns up tomorrow , so stressful airports !!! xxx

We don't have that one :) - we have a black box for glass jars and bottles but it says on the side not to put broken glass in it.
I have heard of places in the United States that people pay to go to that they throw glass at a brick wall. Don't know why but, I guess it would relieve some tension.

I always put broken glass in a cardboard box first then in black bin bag so no binman/ woman cut them selves.
