I was born in the US but my DNA testing showed that I have roots in Nigeria/Ghana. I tend to believe the best individual diet is based on foods that come from your ancestral homeland. So I will definitely try this recipe. I LOVE yams!!

I know this is about vegan food but the comment about never having pets along with dating was so relatable. They do the most with their pets sometimes lol 🥴

Thank you for sharing this ! I’ve been trying to go plant based but it’s been so challenging to switch over permanently. Any advice ?

Just take it one meal at a time, don’t pressure yourself. Finding simple vegan recipes on Pinterest to cook the foods that you love to eat which traditionally use meat helps you to decrease your cravings for animal based meals. I love cooking so experimenting with food helps me a lot. Read books and watch films like What the Health, Food Inc, Game Changers...it’ll help you stay focused on the larger issues to keep you committed to the lifestyle.

New subscriber Where do you purchase your palm oil? Can’t seem to find it anywhere...

Hi I buy from a local store called Clarks, simply because they sell sustainably farmed palm oil. The ones I used to buy from the African and Asian stores weren't guaranteed to be sustainable that's why I don't get it there.
