Godbless you for this knowledge
Thank you teacher, you made me learn what I didn't know before thank you very much.
You are an excellent tutor. God bless you
Thank you very much!
Great thanks to you sir, I would like you to also talk about how to calculate the quantity of sand and cement.
Really well explained, I look forward to more videos like this. May I suggest tiled roofs, patios, reinforced concrete etc
Thank you so much, very helpfull
You should have explained how you got the 4/2/.5/225
I also wish to know that
Yes please 🙏
4 for four items
2 for two half on each wall
1/2 half of the wall or block thickness
225 block thickness
Thanks so much for the videos. I will like to see more videos
WELL DONE ,THANKS
thanks so much may the Lord bless but please explain how we achieved the 4/2/5/225 , please do same for roofing
GREAT WORK! ...what about the mortar space? again what are you going to use the internal girth for?
Thanks very much appreciate in ur sharing sir. May u please do for roof n external work element. Tq sir ☺️
Thanks bro! Hope more to come
This was educative... thankyou
We really appreciate. Please produce videos for superstructure taking off too.
Thank you very much sir for this. How about calculating for sand and cement sir?
You guys are so amazing. I like that
Well explained thanks....can you make vedios on estimating and costing
This is amazing
Wow this amazing, thanks a lot
God bless you good work boss
Thank you,we'll explained.
Nice one bro. Well understood
HI Engineer, you have calculated the number of blocks thanks for that i have gained alot but you have taken the floor plan as a full rectangle yet there is a portion on the plan which don't have block work . do i need to less the area for this portion?
Yes. There is usually a need to less any portion without blockwork. For example, lintels, beams, door and window openings, and even entrance porch/veranda recess
Good job. God bless
Very helpful video thank you but at 15:00 the final measurements on Door 2 being 0.90 x (2.10+0.225) x 2 = 2.09m2? did you accidentally forget to times by 2 or have I missed something?
Good job
Doing a very good job
Thanks for d lecture
Very educative
Awsome brov nice one
From your external main guide, how did you calculate it??
Nice one
Good explanation....
What is the meaning of the word you used procon.
For the internal mean girth, you used the internal dimensions of 5,600 and 4,600. I think you should have use the IN to IN approach
I think u should Add 2/2/1/2/225 to it, am I right?
Thanks sir
U are good keep it up
On step 1 "less" please explain how and where you are getting a half.
And pls do us well by taking off for roof pls
Interesting great job may Almighty bless you
Amen. Thanks
Please we need more of this take off to broaden our knowledge.... Thanks so much
Pls sir for the external mean girth,You less 4/2/1/2/225. Please explain that.thanks so much
Adding and subtracting of four conners is only for the calculation of the main girth from what I understand, is that correct sir ?
Because you didn't add four conners after calculating the internal girth.
I want know of three bedrooms with kitchen and porch
Kudos
Awesome
In external min girth, where do we take measurents, is it from center to center or in to In. thank u sir
Out-to-Out
Please sir i don't understand where 4/2/0.5/ is coming from
Thank you for this tutorial greatly appreciate your work. Where can I buy your book someone mentioned in the comments.

Am trying to pay with my card
D money was not deducted
Pls can u send ur account details
Please my Boss I want to You to Tutor about The Calculating the quantity of Cement and Cement Mortar.!!!!!!
Nice one but i can i get number of cement in a particular buldin
Please what will be the volume of the mortor only?
kindly extract the volume of the mortor separately for me. Thank you
Thank you for your teaching sir, what about when my dimensions are from center to center hw do u do with outer min girth with deductions of 4/2/(225,1/2)
Yes
For Out to out you will deduct
Centre to centre no deduction
In to in you add
Thank u sir I got it right
Nice explanation
But my question has to do with the mortar joints. What happens to that, is it not to be deducted too since it also influence the height of the building?
O the 10 mm mortar joint.
And pls do us well by taking off for roof pls 4:28
Your vedio that I downloaded isn't showing again please what can I do to access it back thanks

how many pieces of block we four-bedroom
and also how did u get the calculation of opening door and window
It's very simple, just multiple the height and width of the door or window and add .225 ,then multiple by the total numbers of windows or doors of the same dimensions. Later sum everything up together. Thanks
when did you get the height of lentel! ....I like to thank you for all information you gave us may God bless you
The height of lintel is usually 225mm or in some cases 150mm. It's a constant value.
Thanks for the feedback.
@@qsacademy thank you very much 🙏
I want to join your class. How do I reach you
The 900 you deducted in step one, represents what? and why did you less it?
I've explained this concept in this my video;
ruclips.net/video/hQ6OuW5-TR0/видео.html
Watch it and you will probably understand why I did that addition. I hope this helps....
How many blocks can build one room tell me
please how can i calculate two bedroom flat and the length is 11025 and also the brength is 20825
Having the length and width alone won't give you the total numbers of blocks to use sir because there are other partition (internal walls) inside the drawing which are meant for toilets, kitchen, rooms, dinning etc. But with the illustration of what he did you can get it. You can not get the total numbers of blocks to use for a two bedroom flat like that without looking into the internal dimensions. Thanks.he will give more details if he get to see your comment sir. I am just a colleague in the profession who acknowledge what he's doing
very good lesson however the background noise was distrubing
Weldone...but you did not deduct for recess...the building is not a regular shape???
It is a regular shape
Dear bro what is the mean of "less (4/2/1/2/225)".Please describe briefly
What you mean the super structure and sub structure is calculated independently
I think by substructure he's referring to any low walls you may have inside the house e.g. support for built-in cupboards, bathrooms, etc
4:06 can u please teach ur less 4/2/1/2/225 I don't understand it
Watch my old video on how to calculate mean girth of a building
hi, plz i found it difficult to calculate STEP 3.
I'm just watching ur video Weldone sir.... but...when calculating for the openings and lintels the last calculations is wrong sir
Nice one bro, you have any group on social media, like WhatsApp group or Instagram, for us to be seeing update
yes, please scroll right till you get to the about page. you will find all the links there.
Where does "less 4/2/.."comes from?
thickness of block, to get the in to in dimension
Please u need how u got the 4/2/1/2/225
Watch this video and you will get the perfect explanation for the deduction:
ruclips.net/video/hQ6OuW5-TR0/видео.html
How did you got 4/2/1\2/225=900 on step one
I've explained this concept in this my video;
ruclips.net/video/hQ6OuW5-TR0/видео.html
Watch it and you will probably understand why I did that addition. I hope this helps....
Hi, how can you be contacted?
quantitysurveyingacademy@gmail.com
Anyone pls who understand where this 4/2/.5/225 come from maybe volunteers will explain better for me,cos its where I'm lost pls
Check out this my video on Mean Girth Calculation. It explains where those figures came from. I hope this helps.
ruclips.net/video/hQ6OuW5-TR0/видео.html
I don't understand the less 4/2/1/2/225
Don't understand the calculations you did at the door , window and lintel it gave me different answers
The values, in what unit are they? Are they in ( ft or mm or m inches?)
Pls sir be playing with the units pls sir.
I started with mm then converted it to m to get my final values
@@qsacademy thank you so much you are Really helping people around the world.
Pls be explaining the converting unit and point for us the beginners pls sir.
The values are in meters
Why didn't you deduct the area where no block walls
Why didn't you consider the mortar spaces?
because the mortar spacing is usually considered during the estimation of its unit price
@@qsacademy okay.
Really no need to subtract the area taken by lintels because you will not purchase half or three quarters of a block anyway. You have to buy complete blocks
I also saw that, however I think he was trying to calculate total open space, as you could see he wasn't even pleased with leaving out the overhang 😅
I have a quiz regarding the number of bricks calculation in a building:- Is there a certain percentage allowed for wastage???
He did say it's 5%
There's something we call boundary conditions which you ignored
The void spaces in ur drawing wasn't deducted sir
Isn't it necessary
The void does not affect the blockwork because the only unit needed for calculating the block qty is perimeter length and height. Note that the void will only affect work items covering the floor area or volume.
OK sir
Many thanks for this
Great job
God bless

@@qsacademy good morning bro,I need your book on quantity surveying
This type you choose is quite long and misunderstanding as well.
Feet and inches would’ve been way better
The calculation is not clear
The price of your courses on Udemy is too expensive, reduce the price to 15-18 pounds and you will get more students.
Thanks for your suggestions. I usually adjust the price to the lowest amount attainable on Udemy from time to time.
What is he even saying
Adding and subtracting of four conners is only for the calculation of the main girth from what I understand, is that correct sir ?
Because you didn't add four conners after calculating the internal girth.
Watch this my video on mean girth and you will understand why we less or add corner in mean girth calculation. It will show you that the adjustment for 4 corners is meant for external girths depending on the type of dimensioning used...
