I love the music, but I didn't like the Fire/Burning hay mechanic. It felt counterintuitive for a strategy game to have a timed running puzzle with no multitasking.
This is probably the most perfect pikmin game in my opinion. The only thing it lacks is the music. I think its less imaginative music overall. This track is a standout though. Also is it just me or is the music too quiet in game?
I honestly have to agree, what I miss the most is each cave having it’s own unique soundtrack, it really helped give each cave in Pikmin 2 it’s own unique identity and feel. That being said though, there are some good songs in the game, namely this one and some boss music.
@@tepigninja7198 The Olimar's shipwreck tale themes are the best overworld area musics, followed by this and heroes hideaway, followed by primordial thicket and serene shores, followed by blossoming arcadia THEN sunspeckled terrace.
This feels like a 20 second loop, but sitting on top of the hearth, just me and oatchi, for the last few seconds to watch the sunset was one of the most relaxing things ever.
This song was the biggest mood whiplash in the entire game because I hated the song from the previous area, but this one is kind of a fun vibe ngl helps a ton that the Forest Navel is my favorite area in 1 and this seems to be a take on that theme
When the ship landed and I first heard this song it was instantly ranked number 2 in the series for songs in my opinion (only behind perplexing pool). Nintendo has been on a major roll with their releases in 2023!
I really like the music, it’s calming yet it’s sorta intimidating in my opinion.. which I really love. It’s sorta like what distant spring was capturing but not as good. Still a great map though!
I feel that'd it have final trial motifs, due to the sovereign bulblax guarding the rock onion in a set up that mirror's Pikmin 1 I think forest navel would fit primordial thicket more, due to... Well... Mushrooms and puffstool
PLEASE somebody make Shipwreck Tale remixes of this and Primordial Thicket. The other ones slap so hard and I NEED them. How no musically inclined RUclipsr has thought to do this yet I have no idea.
The Relaxing Navel
The music? Yes
The map ot self? No, very nope
instantly my favorite area in the game, i love the western summer camp feel it had
I don’t even like ‘Western’ or camping, and still same.

@@mechwarreir2 You actually just referred to this mechanic as a knock, … right after this franchise canonized the concept of Dandori………….
@@makesomething4093 Everything about the game is Dandori. This mechanic is not. You're inability to provide a counter-argument is Dandori issue
How is it not dandori? Also your* @mechwarreir2
Idk why I like this song so much but it's my favorite in 4 and one of my favorites in the whole series
Sounds like Psychonauts.
Thought the same! Great stuff.
im so happy someone else thought the same thing (whispering rock vibes)
Def got psychonauts vibes
And I love it for that
I just wanna grill for Pikmin’s sake

my thoughts exaxtly, but I guess nothing is perfect in this world

Lies. This song is a lowkey banger.
funny how my opinion is the exact opposite of yours

Theres something so perfectly pathetic about this song and im kind of in love with it
It almost sounds like someone sitting outside just messing around with a guitar and it’s *perfect!* I love it!
Lmaoo yea its so pathetic

Hero's Hideaway is a banger idc. In Shipwreck Tale especially.
I love the odd and mocking tone it has, so fun and dinky!
This theme is giving me Wild West vibes especially that banjo
There's no banjo involved in that music
Only guitars (one using a bottleneck, sliding notes sounds)

Unapologetically Forest Navel inspired, I love it
Still can’t believe this game is a year old.

If this was in olimar shipwreck tale then it will be a remix of forest navel

pinecone.
Is this a callback to forest navel? 🙂
Why are there two versions of this theme
The others aren't different versions rather just with the creatures theme alongside them
