I love how you took at the magical girl cliches (young, dumb a.k.a don’t do well in school, clumsy, naive, usually with an in snake amount of power for teens or younger) and showed how the real world would/could react to it. Like how she does bad in school, so she’s obviously punished. She breaks a plate, so she’s obviously scolded. She’s a literal child who has not fully grown to understand morals and values and is given an insane amount of power, so ofc disaster happens. Love it.
I think its also implied she's treated unfairly because her sister (I think?) gets better treatment then her while she gets put down. So I think it also implies that this is caused by the psychological problems of the unfair treatmeant(?)
I want a Magical Girl Anime like this. One where she breaks under pressure and slaughters everything but it's all cute and aesthetic in her fantasy world were everything happy until the end when she realizes what she's done.
I know everyone's looking for a deeper meaning to this, but I'm still stuck on the idea this was one of those moments where everything is literal. Our little mascot buddy just chose the wrong psyco to become a magical girl and bailed once things got bad.
What's interesting is he could've actually been supposed to be recruiting the other girl with the short brown hair and red ribbon but got mixed up and made the dark haired girl a magical girl instead.
I think what's interesting is the magical girl has the same characteristics of most magical girl protags (like Sailor Moon and Tokyo Mew Mew) where she is clumsy and doesn't do well in school. While these traits in the fore mentioned stories are meant to make the character appealing as sweet and a bit naïve, we see here the negative impacts and how the world would actually react to such traits. And how that impacts the character's psyche, causing them to break.
Theory: The green monster is a physical manifestation of the girl's negative emotions. She keeps it at bay in the beginning. It tries to get in-between her and her friend, but their friendship is stronger. But with pressure from the adults and seeing others do better in school, she finally finds comfort in her green monster/negative emotions, which leads to her killing her school mates. She copes with her actions by warping them into monsters in her head and "purifying" the person into their full fledged version, hence the angels section, which also alludes to them being dead since, well, angel = heaven = dead. But the final scene shows that even though the girl has a broken psyche where fantasy can't be separated from reality (pile of limbs with monster parts), she understands the gravity of what she's done (her expression). But since she is in her magical girl outfit, she either, a) still wants to cling onto the belief that her actions were justice/in denial, and/or b) is showing she will always be this twisted person she has transformed into.
I love this. Its totally making fun of the magical girl genre. Giving a young, teenage girl immense magical powers and strength with no real guidance is a recipe for disaster. She's impulsive, headstrong, unaware of the consequences, and is becoming increasingly more violent as she kills the (innocent) monsters she's tasked to fight. Love it!
I think she’s a normal little girl hallucinating that she’s a magical girl. The red monster she killed was probably just a poor stray animal, and she was imagining it was a monster. She then went on a killing spree.

my personal interpretation: ruru has a younger sister (the other girl). her sister is the "golden child" of the family, always doing well in school and being praised. meanwhile, ruru struggles in school, and gets punished for every minor thing she does. as a coping mechanism, she begins to hallucinate and have delusions that she's a magical girl. like most killers do, she starts with killing animals; she sees them as monsters and needs to purify them with her wand. she then starts to kill people: her sister, her parents, as well as strangers. in her mind, they've been possessed by some entity, and she needs to purify them by turning them into angels. she doesn't realize what she's done until everyone's dead. once she kills everyone, the hallucinations and delusions subside. she realizes that they're all gone and she can't bring them back. she doesn't even have her little green companion. now, she's truly alone.
the saddest part that her sister is doesn't seems to hate her (and even when she's tied she looks more confused than angry) maybe they had good relationship before black girl's mental breakdown
I think it's obvious and I'll get hated or something but the reason why black haired girl killed her sister was because she got good grades (and therefore more attention from the parents)
@@saulgerardo372 that might be part of it but I think its because the brown hair girl seemed to be better at almost everything and ended up getting praised for it while the black hair girl barely got attention and was punished, she might have not gotten attention from her parents at all or she was just flat out ignored unless she had a bad grade and because of the neglect she ended up killing an entire town and at the last scene you see her on the ground realizing what she had just done

I want to see an anime like this. give me your average protagonist that doesn't do all that well in school and is very clumsy, so often she will be scolded for the things she (accidentally) does wrong. but instead of using these traits to make her relatable and sympathetic, make it all add up to the stress that is a young girl fighting creatures of darkness and monsters on the daily also balancing her school life, and on top of that her social life. her mental health will deteriorate more and more as the episodes pass until one episode she finally snaps, starting to hallucinate that her city was being attacked by whatever evil entity she was tasked to fight, animals become monsters and humans look as if they are possessed by said entity. but it's all in her head. she goes to school to find her classmates "tainted", including her magical girl friends, who look like evil/darker versions of themselves. the next episode has her battling her friends one by one until she purifies them all along with her classmates, turning them into their normal selves. but again, it's all in her head and she actually killed them all. the final episode has her sitting in a bloody classroom with whatever being that gave her powers in the first place, realizing what she's done. she would be hugging her friend's corpses and begging this entity to fix all of that. but even it can't, it cannot bring everyone back to life. the young magical girl has to live with herself and what she's done. the final scene has the protagonist standing among a field with a shovel in her hands, digging up holes to bury her fallen friends and classmates, picking up wild flowers to put in their graves and writing their names in sheets of paper so she wouldn't forget who they were. flashbacks of the moments she had with her friends going on her head as she cried out for them. wondering what would have happened if she just asked for their help instead of trying to play leader. the final scene has the girl leave the city, decided to mentor other magical girls so they wouldn't end up doing the same thing as she did.
@@drillbitz2816 good idea! the camera would pan out to all those gravestones marked with crosses made out of tree branches, and glued on them are the sheets of her own notebooks with the names of her classmates written on them in permanent marker. some are a bit faded out since the protagonist wrote so much the pen started running out of ink. when it finally gets to her friend group's gravestones their names are written out in colorful gel pen that matches their color, with flowers that match as well! (the red magical girl gets her name written in red, the yellow one gets hers in yellow, etc) and if the protagonist has a love interest, their grave gets a love letter along with their favorite flowers.

Kinda a theory: What I think happened is that this girl is chosen to be a magical guardian. This is making fun of things like sailor moon, because somehow nothing goes wrong. If you give a teenage girl powers, something bad will happen. In those shows you need to purify people, and she killed them instead, and convinced herself she was doing the right thing

That is a very good depiction of how unrealistic the magical girl genre is. The protag is often dumb, clumsy, forgetful and all because thats "cute" and they often have that one friend that don't have a really big purpose but to be the perfect student. Anyway, unlike in the mangas, when she makes a mistake shes punished, which is kinda normal in todays world. Its where the reality happens. Magical girl trope is dumb Why the hell giving superpowers to a little girl and putting the world basically on her shoulders ? If the mascots can give power, why cant they use it themselves? Why dont they give it to adults ? (Now that im thinking about today's society i kinda see why they dont give it to adults) Because giving so much power to a child is pretty dangerous. And thats what happened~ She cracked under the pressure, if she can do anything with those magic powers... Can she do **anything?** She massacred her town probably out of rage. She must be a lil young and not realizing its not a punishment but murder. Or she lost her mind. She doesn't seem to realize the impact of her actions until shes massacred everyone. Probably because the adrenaline came down. Anyway, moral of the story Don't give powers to kid who are going through teen rebellion phase.
With all these theories about everything being metaphors and symbolic, I'd like to offer that I see this story as a little more straightforward. See...people who feel they have no control over their own life will often try to find relief in controlling something or someone else, to an extreme degree; that's how you get abusive parents, or tyrannical bosses, or bad teachers, or bullies. For the girl- "Ruru"- this is how she begins to see her magical girl duties. As a way to feel powerful. She can't keep it together when it comes to grades or chores or home life, but to the monsters she fights, she's *Mahou Shoujo Ruru!* She's the one person (I'm assuming, based on how these stories usually go) who can thwart their evil schemes, THE number one person in the world they have reason to fear. And she knows this. She thrives on it; it's the only part of her life in which *she* is the special one, *she* has all the power. From there, it's easy for her to get more and more swept up in this need to feel powerful, begins punishing monsters in needlessly cruel and violent ways... And maybe, somewhere along the way, she starts to think: "I'm Magical Ruru. Righter of wrongs, slayer of evil. What teacher has the right to call me a failure? What reason do other students have to think they're better than me? Who's anyone to think they can tell me what to do?"

I just assumed she thinks it’s ok since she killed sm. Though she did have the expression at the end which may also suggest she finally digested what she’s done is wrong? Just an analysis : In almost every magical schoolgirl genre, there is of course the identity they take as the hero & their identity in whole as a person living with them. On contrary to most of the magical girl role, she kills them all, to which the assigned role would be to protect, right? We could say obviously peer pressure takes place in her, and that her other role is a form of escapism. To which led to killing them. But have we ever considered it metaphorically, it was all in her head. Her first kill being in the alleyway, and I’d assume almost every victim would be in the same spot as well. This magical girl is her in mind. Her cutting off ties and wishing to ‘kill’ everyone in her life. From her mother, to her classmates. Every single person. The idea of cutting them off because of them inflicting the pressure on her would seem logical, and in a way, she must’ve thought it would be fair & better in both sides. As we are given the little scene where they dress up as angels and to which she seems rather joyous, living in that delusion it’d be the best for her sake & theirs. Then cut to the last scene, where she sits in the middle. Blank. Unsatisfied. From the pressure she broke, and cut them all off. She wished for them to be gone. So she wouldn’t have to deal with them, but there she lay. Bodies. Blood. Even on her face. A symbolism of isolation. and dread. Going back to the parallel, A magical school girl is a young girl’s dream, and this was hers. This is how she projected off to be one. She lived in a delusion. That having that power & using it in a way she could interpet would make her life & at least everyone else’s better. Only to live in a reality of sorrow, dread, and clinging bitter memories of once she used to be & the people she drifted away from.

개인적인 해석 흑발의 마법소녀 망상 사이코드라마라고 생각함 노래는 발랄하게 이 것이 이별이 아닌 새로운 시작이고 시간의 마법은 고개숙인 여자아이를 웃게 만든다고 하는데 마법소녀물은 마물을 퇴치하면 악역이 떨어져나가고 그 사람은 다시 원래의 착한 사람으로 돌아오지만 현실은 이 영상의 끝부분의 장면일뿐. 흑발과 갈발은 가족 관계 혹은 가족처럼 친밀한 관계로 짐작(케이크 하나를 나눠먹는다던지 같이 등교함. 그리고 초록색 마스코트가 등장하는 3장면 중에 흑발 외의 인물은 갈발 하나 뿐임. 마스코트가 어떤 망상인지는 중요치 않으나 둘이 초록 마스코트와 같이 공존하고 있다는건 중요함) 갈발은 백점을 받고 흑발은 알바처에서도 집 안에서도 구박을 받음. 행복해지고 싶은데 자살을 생각하게(중간에 거꾸로 떨어지는 흑발 얼굴 있음)되는데 그 스트레스를 마물을 죽이는 망상을 하게 됨. 붉은 마불 살육씬에서 빠르게 3장면이 돌아가는데 빨간색>초록색 비중이 높아가는게 나는 연출이 아닌 3번째 장면에선 마스코트도 죽은걸로 봄. 실제로 살육씬 다음엔 마스코트가 등장 안함. 그리고 살육씬이 연달아 3번 등장하는데 사장(마술봉으로 베인 상처) 백점받던 갈발(눈에서 레이저)=현실에서 일어날 수 없는 살인망상 그리고 붉은 마물이 죽었던 그 뒷골목에서 다시 갈발이 밧줄로 묶인채 죽음. 여기부터 진짜 살인이 시작됬다고 봄. 그리고 천사로 변하는 사람이 4명 나오는데 아주 짧은 시간 천사로 변하기 전 모습이 보임 갈발(교복>천사) 남자(남자 교복 가쿠란>의사) 여자(단발의 같은 여자 교복>스키스키다이스키의 아이돌 외모를 한 마이크를 든 천사) 곱슬머리남자(샐러리맨 혹은 교사>천사) 여기서 남자만 천사가 아니라 의사인 이유는 실제로 의사를 만났다고 생각함. 그리고 해석에 크게 어려웠던게 이 여자아이인데....이 작가분의 전 작품 스키스키다이스키에서 나왔던 그 여자아이돌이라고 생각하면 해석이 진짜 난감해짐. 남학생+여학생>의사+아이돌로 상환됐다는 건 여러 의미를 부여할 수 있는데....나는 이 여자아이가 살해망상 끝에 갈발을 죽인 후 의사에게 상담도 받고 아이돌 노래에도 영향을 받아 자기정당화 끝에 마법소녀가 돼었다고 망상하는걸로 생각함 그리고 마지막 마물과 학생들의 시체의 산 앞에 망연히 앉아있는 마법소녀의 모습. 자세히 보면 첫번째 마물은 마치 풍선처럼 머리가 크지만 다리는 실처럼 가는 하나만 달린 상태로 떠있는데 엔딩씬의 마물들은 종류는 다르지만 전부 다족류의 마물임. 보기만 해도 다리도 많고 묵직함. 초기의 마법소녀 망상과는 전혀 다른 마물의 모습과 마법소녀의 모습을 보면 내가 보기엔 얜 우리의 현실을 깨달은게 아니라 자신이 꾸는 망상(현실)의 종류가 다르다는걸 눈치챈거임. 아직 미쳐있다는 것으로 난 봤음 +댓글로 제보가 들어와 모바일보다 pc로 보니 프레임 멈춤이 좀 더 확실하군요 모바일로 하지 않겠습니다 이거... 그러데 그 개인적으로 대머리>곱슬머리 남자는 회사원이나 알바처 사장보다는 양복을 입은 거나 엔딩씬때의 학생들이 죽어있는걸 보면 교사에 가깝다고 생각합니다. 뭐 사실 노래하는 이가 미친 사람이니 보는 사람에 따라 해석이 달라지는 건 당연한 거겠지요

My theory: She thinks she is a a magical girl who helps people(because of the stress from the adults)so when she kills people she think she is helping by turning then into angels but in reality she is doing harm. By the end she realized she isn't and she is just killing them.(at the end she looked scared next to at the dead bodies of the people she killed)

that's actually how most serial killers start. They start killing animals, with no pity. But this girl is different. She doesn't see them as animals, but the bad monsters lurking. She doesn't know what she's doing.
Theory: The green monster is her negative emotions and intrusive thoughts, she tries to push it away but succumbs to it at the end. I think the "monsters" she fights aren't people but animals. She starts off killing animals to release her anger with realizing (The red monster seemed scared and was protecting it's young much like a dog or cat would). This stems from her anger of being treated at home. Her sister gets good grades therefore gets praised, meanwhile she gets bad grades and gets punished and made to do most of the chores. The reason she pushes away the green thing at first is because she genuinely cares about her sister, they are shown to be quite close. Behind the scenes though she is very jealous of her. When she snapped she killed her sister first, then everyone else. Her sister was the cause of this therefore is she should die. Then other thoughts to the other people that died.
imo this is more sad than scary just because of how much i relate to this. the constant feeling of never being good enough and wanting all your stress to end one way or another is crippling.

i think karma doesn't really exist , it's people in the society that decide or not to hurt others then choose something as a reason to scare others , some do bad things their whole life and nothing happen to them. but yea justice and better things need to exist.
This is my theory: As we see in the beginning the main character is seen with her friends, the main character is a typical clumsy girl whilst her friend is good at everything. We can see this through their test results, the main character gets 0 whilst her friend gets full marks, because of this the main character could've been compared to her friend constantly by people in her class, town and even at home. In a part of this video we see her running with bread in her mouth, the lyrics say "Turn the girl with her head down, into a magic of time smile" As she's running it flashes showing her with lifeless eyes, this could depict her inner mind, constantly having to brush off all these expectations as a joke, her negative emotion slowly start to overwhelm her. I think that possibly she's dressed up as a magical girl because most of them have similar personality traits, they're clumsy and happy-go-lucky, it's just that she isn't happy-go-lucky and she wants that but she never finds the answer. Constantly thinking about when she'll find this happiness, she snaps, and uses this magical girl persona, to look approachable. Showing the people she killed as angels is the main characters excuse of justifying her murders as 'putting them to sleep', denying that what she did was her fault

Here’s my understanding of this video in the most cohesive way possible: The magical girl has monsters to fight and a lot of problems in her ordinary life life. She’s used to fighting monsters head on, and she’s good at it. However, her mundane life is troubled and she doesn’t know how to deal with them, so she becomes increasingly jealous and self-conscious. To put things simply, she got rid of her problem through sheer force, the only way she knows how to. (There are parallels in the position of the monsters and her friend behind her heart staff.) And so she ended up killing anyone that got in her way. I think this video is an important lesson on problem solving- because most of the time, you can’t eradicate your problems by blasting them away. You have to sort things out civilly.
I really like this take, I never thought that she was a magical girl before the music video started. After fighting all those monsters day in and out, with little rest, of course she's going to have a mental break and fight through it.
Theory: The green monster seems to be a manifestation of the girl’s jealousy. It grows stronger as her friend, who is much smarter and ‘better’ than she is, gets the praise while she only earns hurt and abuse. She eventually snaps and kills the people who had insulted her, including her friend. She sees these killings as something magical and beautiful through her lens of jealousy. She only then realizes how much her hatred got to her and breakdowns as she faces the consequences of her murders.
I love how you took at the magical girl cliches (young, dumb a.k.a don’t do well in school, clumsy, naive, usually with an in snake amount of power for teens or younger) and showed how the real world would/could react to it. Like how she does bad in school, so she’s obviously punished. She breaks a plate, so she’s obviously scolded. She’s a literal child who has not fully grown to understand morals and values and is given an insane amount of power, so ofc disaster happens. Love it.
I think its also implied she's treated unfairly because her sister (I think?) gets better treatment then her while she gets put down. So I think it also implies that this is caused by the psychological problems of the unfair treatmeant(?)

I think what's interesting is the magical girl has the same characteristics of most magical girl protags (like Sailor Moon and Tokyo Mew Mew) where she is clumsy and doesn't do well in school. While these traits in the fore mentioned stories are meant to make the character appealing as sweet and a bit naïve, we see here the negative impacts and how the world would actually react to such traits. And how that impacts the character's psyche, causing them to break.

Theory: The green monster is a physical manifestation of the girl's negative emotions. She keeps it at bay in the beginning. It tries to get in-between her and her friend, but their friendship is stronger. But with pressure from the adults and seeing others do better in school, she finally finds comfort in her green monster/negative emotions, which leads to her killing her school mates. She copes with her actions by warping them into monsters in her head and "purifying" the person into their full fledged version, hence the angels section, which also alludes to them being dead since, well, angel = heaven = dead. But the final scene shows that even though the girl has a broken psyche where fantasy can't be separated from reality (pile of limbs with monster parts), she understands the gravity of what she's done (her expression). But since she is in her magical girl outfit, she either, a) still wants to cling onto the belief that her actions were justice/in denial, and/or b) is showing she will always be this twisted person she has transformed into.

I love this. Its totally making fun of the magical girl genre. Giving a young, teenage girl immense magical powers and strength with no real guidance is a recipe for disaster. my personal interpretation: ruru has a younger sister (the other girl). her sister is the "golden child" of the family, always doing well in school and being praised. meanwhile, ruru struggles in school, and gets punished for every minor thing she does.
as a coping mechanism, she begins to hallucinate and have delusions that she's a magical girl.
like most killers do, she starts with killing animals; she sees them as monsters and needs to purify them with her wand.
she then starts to kill people: her sister, her parents, as well as strangers. in her mind, they've been possessed by some entity, and she needs to purify them by turning them into angels.
she doesn't realize what she's done until everyone's dead. once she kills everyone, the hallucinations and delusions subside. she realizes that they're all gone and she can't bring them back. she doesn't even have her little green companion. now, she's truly alone.
the saddest part that her sister is doesn't seems to hate her (and even when she's tied she looks more confused than angry)

I want to see an anime like this. give me your average protagonist that doesn't do all that well in school and is very clumsy, so often she will be scolded for the things she (accidentally) does wrong. but instead of using these traits to make her relatable and sympathetic, make it all add up to the stress that is a young girl fighting creatures of darkness and monsters on the daily also balancing her school life, and on top of that her social life. her mental health will deteriorate more and more as the episodes pass until one episode she finally snaps, starting to hallucinate that her city was being attacked by whatever evil entity she was tasked to fight, animals become monsters and humans look as if they are possessed by said entity. but it's all in her head.
she goes to school to find her classmates "tainted", including her magical girl friends, who look like evil/darker versions of themselves. the next episode has her battling her friends one by one until she purifies them all along with her classmates, turning them into their normal selves. but again, it's all in her head and she actually killed them all.
the final episode has her sitting in a bloody classroom with whatever being that gave her powers in the first place, realizing what she's done. she would be hugging her friend's corpses and begging this entity to fix all of that. but even it can't, it cannot bring everyone back to life. the young magical girl has to live with herself and what she's done.
the final scene has the protagonist standing among a field with a shovel in her hands, digging up holes to bury her fallen friends and classmates, picking up wild flowers to put in their graves and writing their names in sheets of paper so she wouldn't forget who they were. flashbacks of the moments she had with her friends going on her head as she cried out for them. wondering what would have happened if she just asked for their help instead of trying to play leader.
the final scene has the girl leave the city, decided to mentor other magical girls so they wouldn't end up doing the same thing as she did.
In the burying scene, it should pan out to show all the graves she has made
@@drillbitz2816 good idea! the camera would pan out to all those gravestones marked with crosses made out of tree branches, and glued on them are the sheets of her own notebooks with the names of her classmates written on them in permanent marker. some are a bit faded out since the protagonist wrote so much the pen started running out of ink. when it finally gets to her friend group's gravestones their names are written out in colorful gel pen that matches their color, with flowers that match as well! (the red magical girl gets her name written in red, the yellow one gets hers in yellow, etc) and if the protagonist has a love interest, their grave gets a love letter along with their favorite flowers.

That is a very good depiction of how unrealistic the magical girl genre is.
The protag is often dumb, clumsy, forgetful and all because thats "cute" and they often have that one friend that don't have a really big purpose but to be the perfect student.
Anyway, unlike in the mangas, when she makes a mistake shes punished, which is kinda normal in todays world.
Its where the reality happens.

Yes, it's not realistic, but it's done so that young audience can associate themselves more with the main characters.
With all these theories about everything being metaphors and symbolic, I'd like to offer that I see this story as a little more straightforward.
See...people who feel they have no control over their own life will often try to find relief in controlling something or someone else, to an extreme degree; that's how you get abusive parents, or tyrannical bosses, or bad teachers, or bullies. For the girl- "Ruru"- this is how she begins to see her magical girl duties. As a way to feel powerful.
She can't keep it together when it comes to grades or chores or home life, but to the monsters she fights, she's *Mahou Shoujo Ruru!*
She's the one person (I'm assuming, based on how these stories usually go) who can thwart their evil schemes, THE number one person in the world they have reason to fear.
And she knows this. She thrives on it; it's the only part of her life in which *she* is the special one, *she* has all the power.
From there, it's easy for her to get more and more swept up in this need to feel powerful, begins punishing monsters in needlessly cruel and violent ways...
And maybe, somewhere along the way, she starts to think: "I'm Magical Ruru. Righter of wrongs, slayer of evil. What teacher has the right to call me a failure? What reason do other students have to think they're better than me? Who's anyone to think they can tell me what to do?"

나는 마지막씬에서 가장 소름돋은게 얼굴에는 피가 튀었는데 마법소녀 옷에는 전혀 튀지않았고 매우 깨끗한 상태였다는게... 뭔가 사람을 수백명 죽여놓고 해맑게 웃는 여자아이같은 느낌이랄까,,, 하지만 정작 그 힘을 가지고 있는 여주인공은 자신의 행동에 충격에 빠져 힘들어하고 있는 모습이... 아니면 마법소녀의 힘이라는 걸 주는 조건으로 상대를 없애버리고싶은 순간적인 욕망에 충실하도록 만들어진 거라고 생각도 들어서 너무 소름..

Just an analysis :
In almost every magical schoolgirl genre, there is of course the identity they take as the hero & their identity in whole as a person living with them. On contrary to most of the magical girl role, she kills them all, to which the assigned role would be to protect, right?
We could say obviously peer pressure takes place in her, and that her other role is a form of escapism. To which led to killing them.
But have we ever considered it metaphorically, it was all in her head. Her first kill being in the alleyway, and I’d assume almost every victim would be in the same spot as well.
This magical girl is her in mind. Her cutting off ties and wishing to ‘kill’ everyone in her life. From her mother, to her classmates. Every single person. The idea of cutting them off because of them inflicting the pressure on her would seem logical, and in a way, she must’ve thought it would be fair & better in both sides. As we are given the little scene where they dress up as angels and to which she seems rather joyous, living in that delusion it’d be the best for her sake & theirs. Then cut to the last scene, where she sits in the middle. Blank. Unsatisfied. From the pressure she broke, and cut them all off. She wished for them to be gone. So she wouldn’t have to deal with them, but there she lay. Bodies. Blood. Even on her face. A symbolism of isolation. and dread.
Going back to the parallel, A magical school girl is a young girl’s dream, and this was hers. This is how she projected off to be one. She lived in a delusion. That having that power & using it in a way she could interpet would make her life & at least everyone else’s better. Only to live in a reality of sorrow, dread, and clinging bitter memories of once she used to be & the people she drifted away from.
But hey, this is just my analysis. Everything is already explained in the vid. I just drove it a bit deeper.

주인공은 평소 어른들께 빨간리본 친구와 비교당한 것으로 보여집니다. 또한 여러가지 실수와 능력부족으로 인해 어른들께 꾸지람을 듣죠. 그때 옆에 초록색 친구가 날아와 마법소녀로 변신할 수 있도록 마법봉을 주었고, 새로운 힘으로 괴물을 처리해보니 그동안 자신에게 꾸지람을 준 사람들도 똑같이 만들 수 있다고 생각하고 불만을 품고 있던 사람들을 처리한 후 자신의 비교 대상이 되었던 친구까지 죽이게 되죠,, 천사로 변한 사람들은 모두 주인공에 의해 살해당한 사람들이며 마지막에는 이미 여러 괴물들과 사람들을 죽인 주인공 소녀는 더이상 주변에 아무도 남지 않게 되었고 죄책감으로 인해 혼란을 느끼고 있는 것 같습니다.

개인적인 해석
흑발의 마법소녀 망상 사이코드라마라고 생각함
노래는 발랄하게 이 것이 이별이 아닌 새로운 시작이고 시간의 마법은 고개숙인 여자아이를 웃게 만든다고 하는데 마법소녀물은 마물을 퇴치하면 악역이 떨어져나가고 그 사람은 다시 원래의 착한 사람으로 돌아오지만 현실은 이 영상의 끝부분의 장면일뿐.
흑발과 갈발은 가족 관계 혹은 가족처럼 친밀한 관계로 짐작(케이크 하나를 나눠먹는다던지 같이 등교함. 그리고 초록색 마스코트가 등장하는 3장면 중에 흑발 외의 인물은 갈발 하나 뿐임. 마스코트가 어떤 망상인지는 중요치 않으나 둘이 초록 마스코트와 같이 공존하고 있다는건 중요함)
갈발은 백점을 받고 흑발은 알바처에서도 집 안에서도 구박을 받음. 행복해지고 싶은데 자살을 생각하게(중간에 거꾸로 떨어지는 흑발 얼굴 있음)되는데 그 스트레스를 마물을 죽이는 망상을 하게 됨. 붉은 마불 살육씬에서 빠르게 3장면이 돌아가는데 빨간색>초록색 비중이 높아가는게 나는 연출이 아닌 3번째 장면에선 마스코트도 죽은걸로 봄. 실제로 살육씬 다음엔 마스코트가 등장 안함. 그리고 살육씬이 연달아 3번 등장하는데 사장(마술봉으로 베인 상처) 백점받던 갈발(눈에서 레이저)=현실에서 일어날 수 없는 살인망상
그리고 붉은 마물이 죽었던 그 뒷골목에서 다시 갈발이 밧줄로 묶인채 죽음. 여기부터 진짜 살인이 시작됬다고 봄. 그리고 천사로 변하는 사람이 4명 나오는데 아주 짧은 시간 천사로 변하기 전 모습이 보임
갈발(교복>천사) 남자(남자 교복 가쿠란>의사) 여자(단발의 같은 여자 교복>스키스키다이스키의 아이돌 외모를 한 마이크를 든 천사) 곱슬머리남자(샐러리맨 혹은 교사>천사)
여기서 남자만 천사가 아니라 의사인 이유는 실제로 의사를 만났다고 생각함. 그리고 해석에 크게 어려웠던게 이 여자아이인데....이 작가분의 전 작품 스키스키다이스키에서 나왔던 그 여자아이돌이라고 생각하면 해석이 진짜 난감해짐. 남학생+여학생>의사+아이돌로 상환됐다는 건 여러 의미를 부여할 수 있는데....나는 이 여자아이가 살해망상 끝에 갈발을 죽인 후 의사에게 상담도 받고 아이돌 노래에도 영향을 받아 자기정당화 끝에 마법소녀가 돼었다고 망상하는걸로 생각함
그리고 마지막 마물과 학생들의 시체의 산 앞에 망연히 앉아있는 마법소녀의 모습. 자세히 보면 첫번째 마물은 마치 풍선처럼 머리가 크지만 다리는 실처럼 가는 하나만 달린 상태로 떠있는데 엔딩씬의 마물들은 종류는 다르지만 전부 다족류의 마물임. 보기만 해도 다리도 많고 묵직함. 초기의 마법소녀 망상과는 전혀 다른 마물의 모습과 마법소녀의 모습을 보면 내가 보기엔 얜 우리의 현실을 깨달은게 아니라 자신이 꾸는 망상(현실)의 종류가 다르다는걸 눈치챈거임. 아직 미쳐있다는 것으로 난 봤음

Theory:
The green monster is her negative emotions and intrusive thoughts, she tries to push it away but succumbs to it at the end. I think the "monsters" she fights aren't people but animals. She starts off killing animals to release her anger with realizing (The red monster seemed scared and was protecting it's young much like a dog or cat would). This stems from her anger of being treated at home. Her sister gets good grades therefore gets praised, meanwhile she gets bad grades and gets punished and made to do most of the chores.
The reason she pushes away the green thing at first is because she genuinely cares about her sister, they are shown to be quite close. Behind the scenes though she is very jealous of her.
When she snapped she killed her sister first, then everyone else. Her sister was the cause of this therefore is she should die. Then other thoughts to the other people that died.

This is my theory:
As we see in the beginning the main character is seen with her friends, the main character is a typical clumsy girl whilst her friend is good at everything.
We can see this through their test results, the main character gets 0 whilst her friend gets full marks, because of this the main character could've been compared to her friend constantly by people in her class, town and even at home.
In a part of this video we see her running with bread in her mouth, the lyrics say "Turn the girl with her head down, into a magic of time smile"
As she's running it flashes showing her with lifeless eyes, this could depict her inner mind, constantly having to brush off all these expectations as a joke, her negative emotion slowly start to overwhelm her.
I think that possibly she's dressed up as a magical girl because most of them have similar personality traits, they're clumsy and happy-go-lucky, it's just that she isn't happy-go-lucky and she wants that but she never finds the answer.
Constantly thinking about when she'll find this happiness, she snaps, and uses this magical girl persona, to look approachable.
Showing the people she killed as angels is the main characters excuse of justifying her murders as 'putting them to sleep', denying that what she did was her fault

Here’s my understanding of this video in the most cohesive way possible:
The magical girl has monsters to fight and a lot of problems in her ordinary life life. She’s used to fighting monsters head on, and she’s good at it. However, her mundane life is troubled and she doesn’t know how to deal with them, so she becomes increasingly jealous and self-conscious. To put things simply, she got rid of her problem through sheer force, the only way she knows how to. (There are parallels in the position of the monsters and her friend behind her heart staff.) And so she ended up killing anyone that got in her way.
I think this video is an important lesson on problem solving- because most of the time, you can’t eradicate your problems by blasting them away. You have to sort things out civilly.
I really like this take, I never thought that she was a magical girl before the music video started. After fighting all those monsters day in and out, with little rest, of course she's going to have a mental break and fight through it.

Theory:
The green monster seems to be a manifestation of the girl’s jealousy. It grows stronger as her friend, who is much smarter and ‘better’ than she is, gets the praise while she only earns hurt and abuse. She eventually snaps and kills the people who had insulted her, including her friend. She sees these killings as something magical and beautiful through her lens of jealousy. She only then realizes how much her hatred got to her and breakdowns as she faces the consequences of her murders.
