jazzy enigma SNL is so lame I haven't watched it since they had Trump host. How sad for a that's been on forty plus years is just now having their first black head writer.
I’d be interested. It sounds like a sketch for writers or baseball fans or Black history buffs. So that’s a pretty big crowd. I wonder why it didn’t make air.
He seems like such a cool guy. A hoodie with a jean jacket and a baseball hat. It doesn't get more laid back than that. But also such a great funny guy
That is the opposite of laid back. Laid back would be wearing boxers, socks, and a t-shirt. do you sleep in a hoodie and jean jacket with a cap on? Didn't think so
ALMOST Facts, except that Duane and Reade don't cross, they run parallel. The original Duane Reade pharmacy was between those 2 streets on either Church or B'way (I forget which), down in TriBeCa, near City Hall.
Michael Che seems like a nice, humble guy ... I feel like the success of the Atlanta gig kinda got to him. I wish him nothing but the best in 2019 and that he would become more confident in his art 💓
The most interesting man in the world brings families together at strip clubs. That really does need to be a sketch. May not even need to change anything cause ended with a lap dance. I wish I could have saw that.
At work heard that Duane Reade joke and fell out laughing. My white coworker asked what was so funny, I told her and got blank stare. I see why that sketch didn't make it lol
I have the original Saturday Night Live book, and they published the scripts of several sketches they never produced, like "You've Come A Long Way, Buddy" and "Lifer Follies"-oh wait; they did have that one in the first season.
Him an Hannibal with the suttle but hilarious punches are just that. I wonder who i like more! Hannibal looks funnier so I think he edges it out but i feel Che hits harder at times.
Love Michael's style. Very funny man. Jimmy is funny when he does his routines but really isnt cut out to be an interviewer. Over animated or something.
I believe those sketches would work on a updated version of in living color. The 1 black man to boo jackie Robinson would be funny it would be hilarious if black panther himself reprised his role as jackie Robinson.
I was born in 1961. Grew up watching black people getting hosed down, dogs sicked on and beaten by State Troopers on TV . Watching and idolizing Black atheletes, listening to some of the BEST music ever made by black musicians, and some of the greatest oratators this world has ever seen. Micheal Chi has slowly chiseled his way into that line up. Funny.
Yeah, when it's one of who I'd call "the old guard". People that have so much star power and a long lasting career in show business. Robert De Niro comes to mind, but other actors/people like that. Old school people that COMMAND respect just by their presence. :>
@@stresswun1 actualy it doesnt, but now tht u say it. It sounds like a type of walk. " He cringed down the street ever so slow" " he walked so cringy tht night "
Wait is that the general impression of him?? I must be really naive or something lol, he always seemed pretty genuine to me, like thats just his personality style or smt
Not only is it inappropriate to follow the law sometimes, it’s often inappropriate not to break the law. It’s like tailgating. If it says you can do it, it’s good to do it better.
He's pretending to be stoned. Jimmy is sometimes performing drunk so NBC covers that by making sure everybody else on the show is stone cold sober no matter what.
I partied with Jaimie Fox for two hours at a club in south beach then got arrested walking down the sidewalk in south beach. One of the greatest nights of my life.
Towards the end Jimmys face muscles must of stopped working because he was looking at the time and dping a poor job of listening haha "..uhh you're dping it right..you're doing it right.."
Michael Che's Netflix special was one of the best stand-ups I've seen in years
GOD since that special, I say All Buildings Matter every September 11th. Lmao
it was so funny
it was funny but idk why he put his finger on his mouth like Dave Chappelle lol maybe he watch his shows all the time.
LOL his thing about fearless white women was hilarious
Super good
the only black guy to boo Jackie Robinson... sounds like a hilarious sketch

He was on Seth Meyers the other night and apparently it was the censors who shut that one down. It does sound amazing.
Patrick... you sound like an idiot.
Sounds like Uncle Ruckus
He seems like such a cool guy. A hoodie with a jean jacket and a baseball hat. It doesn't get more laid back than that. But also such a great funny guy
AReagan_22 you’re thinking of Adam Sandler

It's called living in New York
i literally love how humble michael che is. it just adds to his hilarity.

X-Lander so true
Literally he laughs like HA HA HA
Fake laughs, so obvious, don't know why Jimmy does that, its so off putting and fake.
X-Lander 😂😂😂
@@Falcon5ive he does it because he's fake full stop
Not going to lie, based off of those 2 sketch ideas I wouldn't mind if Che had his own show
You prophesized it lol

I wish I would of scrolled down 2 more comments and seen your explanation before I just gave up and googled it lbvvs.
mark tiffany I think Walgreens is the parent company of the two.
Duane Reade is just Walgreens in New York.
@@AlvinGuoSubscribe Yeah for decades it was a NYC based chain but Walgreens bought it some years back.

The richest Black man in New York named Duane Reade..! Too funny. I literally laughed out loud.
The most interesting man in the world brings families together at strip clubs. That really does need to be a sketch. May not even need to change anything cause ended with a lap dance. I wish I could have saw that.
He once initiated a father-son lapdance at a strip club....
At work heard that Duane Reade joke and fell out laughing. My white coworker asked what was so funny, I told her and got blank stare. I see why that sketch didn't make it lol
I dont get it too. Can you please explain?
I'm white and I laughed my ass off.
It's only funny to people who have been to Duane Reade and they know Black people lol
@@IkePhillipRuffin I have friends from all different backgrounds and I still don't get it. I think its because im not from america lol
@Ike Phillip Ruffin I am just so happy to be part of an inside joke.
“Those-a-keys”....Che is great.
Yo those 2 sketches they passed on were GENIUS!! Lol.... GENIUS!
I have the original Saturday Night Live book, and they published the scripts of several sketches they never produced, like "You've Come A Long Way, Buddy" and "Lifer Follies"-oh wait; they did have that one in the first season.
Congratulations on getting that Jackie Robinson sketch through finally!!

They made the sketch!
Micheal Che is great because he is just having fun at every moment!! 💜
Dude's got a pretty good delivery
Love Michael Che and his sporting an Oakland A's cap is just icing on the cake.
Let's go OAKLAND!! !!!
3:40 the reason I clicked on this video so I can hear it pronounced so I don’t embarrass myself. 😂
Just discovered this guy today. Hilarious. Deserves to be huge.

Shout out to Michael Che for rocking the Oakland A's hat. We'll be back next season, lol. #townbiz
He reconnected a father with a son 😂😂😭🤣
They recently did that sketch about the first black guy to boo Jackie Robinson! 😂😂😂
SNL Two years later: "Alright Che. We'll air your sketch now".

There's nothing on his IG
I love the A's hat!!!

Side note 2: no race is cracking by 35.
Haha he has a bit about people who are thirty pretending to be in their twenties
lol don't let the wrinkle smoothing filters fool you
I suspect he's referring to Augustin Legrand, Jonathan Goldsmith's successor as "The Most Interesting Man in the World."

I knew I liked this dude nice hat
Strip clubs closed really early in Atlanta last time I was there

Sounds like great sketches. SNL might just not be the platform for them.... definitely want more content from Michael Che.
All the fake laughing Jimmy does is so obvious it gets progressively more cringe.

Will someone please tell me what hoodie Che is wearing. Might be the most awesome thing I have ever seen.
Is it just me or do he and Pete Davidson talk peculiarly similar? Not the voices but how they speak.
I love how most of what Jimmy’s doing is repeating Che in a different tone and fake laughing.
Who else is about to follow him on IG?

That most interesting man in the world guy came to my tiny private college in Vermont like 2 years ago lolol
they finally got the first black man to boo jackie robinson on SNL this year!

he needs his own sketch comedy show
So Dos Equis definitley paid a lot of money for this to be in the show
How did the richest man in NYC... Duane Reed bomb? It's brilliant 😂😁
No college knowledge, but a PHD at the School of Hard Knocks. Smooth.
