Followed this video because I figured I need to learn how to change the pneumatic tire in case I got a flat in the road. Also, i put tire sealant/slime on the tube to prevent flats. Just to add, I also didn't take the break cable off and still managed to change the tire. It's a great option if you're in a hurry but needs more skill.

I'm a current m365 user and I'll buy my Vsett 8 tomorrow. I'm scouting for maintenance work on Vsett 8 and this video is really helpful. I'm happy to know it has a split rim and this might very well be an easier work than other scooter models.

    Hi,
Can someone tell me exactly what kind of screw is the one that catches the drum break? Mine is rounded so I will need to cut it off? The only thing I can read is a2-70 on it.

is it possible to replace the rear solid to air tire? the rear solid tire has a very weak grip, and in the summer on hot asphalt it wears out quickly...

Great question! Unfortunately, we haven't seen a pneumatic option for this model at this time, but we'll let you know if we do!

Maybe it's untitend and need yust service cos suspension works and with my MTB full suspension. They are constantly put on stress and must bee maintenance and tightness it and go to servis they will check it out. Front is air fork rear is coil so ewry are I will goo to make regular service. I don't like to wait when something breaks. Same thing with scuter.

This has to be the most atrociously overcomplicated way to change a tube. I have to find a way to replace this with a solid tire because this is not acceptable workload on the side of a road.

Painful to watch. Just spent the whole afternoon with V9 tube replacement. Stripped couple of screws as ALWAYS (all small screws are soft - everywhere you can imagine). Bent a rotor during the process. What's ridiculous you're supposed to do so much just to fix a flat: remove the legendary InstaFall nut caps (I bought 12 spares already!), then remove the 2 tiny InstaStrip screws (they LOVE microscopic hex 2.5mm), then remove fender (are you kidding me? didn't follow this from the videos, not needed), then remove the big 19' screws, then of course remove the rotor screws despite you're not changing it (incredible torque needed), then remove the split rim screws (incredible torque again), then add the new tube but wait, my tube was small so i couldn't close the rims for 2 hours, and after that: redo everything, recover your freaking nut caps by adding semipermanent black silicone, and also remove valve to apply another slime (which didn't work for me on this scooter) and then keep waiting for the next flat. What a nightmare maintenance. A good joke is the lack of engine plug: on low maintenance V8+ you have them but don't need it BUT on V9+ it's missing despite you desperately want it.

Hey bro I just ordered my vsett 8 all I'm hearing is everybody getting Flats. I thought when you put it to 50 psi. You would be OK what's the tubeless tire like. Is it as bad as the solid Tire

That's definitely something for VSETT to consider. That said, the VSETT 8+ does come with 2 solid tires (and 2 motors).

I have the 8+ and for some reason my front tire is very squeaky and makes a super embarrassing sound that’s super loud, I think one of the bearing may have broke or something so I’m going to take it apart
