Awesome!
Can't wait to see what is to come. Absolutely love the podcast as well
Sweet!!
I do enjoy the podcast. Thanks for all the work.
Thank you for listening, we appreciate the support!
That’s great news, I’ve learned so much from your channel and podcasts it only made me better rod builder here in Alberta, Canada Thank you so much Bill. Keep up the awesome work.
I am glad you are back on RUclips. I have been building rods since the 70's. I learned what I could from Dale Clements books back in the day. But you have taken my rod building to new heights. Keep up the great work.
Awesome. Podcast is fantastic. Thanks for sharing your knowledge sir! The tiger wrap video helped me tremendously. I look forward to future content.
Hey Bill, love the podcast. I'm getting back into rod building after a 22 year hiatus and I've found the podcast and your youtube vids very helpful. I have really enjoyed the nitty-gritty how-to podcast episodes including Andy Dear, Herb Ladenheim, Tom Kirkman and Rich Forhan. I've listened to several of these episodes multiple times and taken notes. I'd love to hear more in-depth tricks-of-the trade by the masters of rod-building. Would also love to hear from some PNW, Canada, or Alaskan fisherman/rod builders chasing salmon and steelhead. While I'm wishing, I'd love to see video content along with the podcast if you are every up for that production challenge! In the meantime, posting pics of podcast guests and closeups of their rods would be amazing. Thanks again!
Great news! I'm sure this will help other builders step their game up.
As always - BRILLIANT!!!👏👏👏
🙌 glad to hear more content is coming. 1 topic I would love to hear is what makes the Renzetti the Ferrari of the power wrappers. I wrap on an apls wrapper and wondering if I should make the jump to the Renzetti. 🙏🏽 Thank you Bill!
You should! But that's a great idea. FYI - this article will help with some points in the meantime: anglersresource.net/rod-wrapper/
Cool, thanks for the heads up. Looking forward to more content you’ve inspired me immensely!🎓👍
Great to hear that the channel is starting up again Bill.
Thank you for your inspiration, my rod building is going great & i still use the Jon Hood thread tools you sent to me in Australia 🙏
Love the Podcasts & Looking forward to more great content

Glad you’re back making content. I met you at mud hole in October. I enjoyed the classes you put on there. You’re alright for an Alabama fan. GO BLUE!!!!
Of course I remember you. Great to hear from you. And GO BLUE is right…I sure called that one wrong! Congratulations
I'm looking forward to the "Revamped" channel. and I enjoy the pad cast, thank you
Can you start a series for new rod builders? Literally from step 1 through to a finished rod??
Would still love to get a replacement 8wt from you :) It was one of the best rods I’ve ever had…
Steve I was looking at that rod in my shop yesterday. I'll git er done!
Bill, I would love to see a step by step guide for setting guide spacing on a fresh water spinning rod. I’ve been told to place the stripper guide here but I’m a black and white guy and need to know why. Looking for answers on when to move it, where the line should touch when static testing, etc. Appreciate your channel and instruction.
This is a great topic suggestion. We'll do it!
I second the suggestion for an episode on guide spacing, how many guides to use, how to do a proper static test. Would be useful for both spinning and casting freshwater rods.
Awesome news to hear. Your instructional videos are excellent. Have you done one yet on feather inlays ?
Randall I will add Feather Inlays to the list. I mean...if not for you none of this would have happened! It's the least I can do...
@@masteringrodbuilding you are really serious about that huh. Well I’m tickled to death that I had a little something to do with where you are.
How about showing building rods for catfishing
You got it! Santee Cooper type rigs or...?
So will I need to subscribe to the new RUclips channel, or are you just rebranding the "FCR" channel so my that my existing subscription will just stay with the new "MCRB" channel?
You're still subbed to the right channel! We are just rebranding the FCR channel to the Mastering Rod Building Channel. Thank you for watching!
How bout a having a novice builder on the show. Ill do it. I could tell stories of how Bill Falconer had a big ing
Influence on me in my early days. Thanks man
