Just so you know, the Astral Swan is locked behind the Soaring Above the Starry Sky World Quest! It didn't show up for me until I reached that point in the quest.
I encountered it before that part of the quest. I groomed it. Took the ride. And kind of wondered what that was for. It was only a while later that I got the quest to go up there. I THINK I had the main quest unlocked, but just hadn't progressed it. But I definitely went up there and got the Astral Swan cutscene before I got the scene with the Pieceys and learned about it. At the time I was chasing the styling contests for the Soveriegn of Sexy, and had thought the marker was pointing me up there.
I didn’t know the name of it, I had just known I was missing something and I was stressing! The only reason I found the quest was because I was going around picking up quests that weren’t in my quest log yet after completing chapter 7 😅 got it now! 🥰
Yeah, I don't think they actually get scared. I just think they have a really bad habit of deciding to go to swim and that turns off their groom availability.
@@chiazureI think you can solve this problem by changing the time to early morning. Most players seem to agree that the swans get out of the lake at that time of day.
If the swans are on the water you can just leave the area and then run back in and they are usually in the grooming area when you come back. Dint miss out on the two sockos either! There is one on a rock to the left of the entrance and one on a rock across the fallen pillar and to the left of it. There are also a few poppies to collect in the water areas there.
If you're playing on PC you don't need to push tab to change abilities, if you remember the number they are assigned you can just hit the number to save time :)
Great video! You didn't add the Floral Fleece, which is obtained from the Violet Sheep... I spent two days looking for it until I realized it's running around in Stoneville. That one isn't in the Dig either, Pear-Pal! ☺
I think there are multiple violet sheep. Not sure, though. But I think there's the one named one and then there's one other that can be found in the fields.
The time shouldn’t matter for the fishing spot. Also for bull you can do at night time and he doesn’t run all over because he’s sleeping, easier to catch the bugs around his head.
also to note you must complete certain quests for at least 2 of the ones listed. Found out bc a npc told me after i finished bc wasn't there beforehand so just in case you don't see 1. But later one you can farm at least 2 super ez c i been farming 1 for days for tons of mats.
Leaving a comment for the tulletail since I see it mentioned a lot in guides, many say that it's a once a day fish like the other animals you groom, but it's actually once a day guaranteed (as in you can find it using the map's tracking since it's a 100% chance there's one out there) but if you're lucky, you might get more fishing in the same area, just that you won't be able to track it so you'd have to fish all the spots. My record is only 2 in the same day so far, but it helps when I'm trying to grind.
Yup I’ve gotten three at the most on a lucky day. I fish the whole grounds including the two extra pillars. You don’t need to hit it at night but you have a better chance of getting extras at night.
I think you can sneak to groom the animals by holding the groom button while you approach them so they dont run away. It always worked with horses, birds and other skittish animals! No need to charge at em like a bull
Huh. In my game where the bull is the pillars don't have plants hanging off them. The surrounding area is just grass. Guess that's a downside to playing mobile.

I'm not sure if it's true or just a weird coincidence, but I believe you can lure the tuxtail swans to come on land if they're swimming, by simply "fishing" in their lake. It worked (?) for me once

You can actually go to the fishing island as soon as you go to cho-cho island. Just fly to cho-cho island, active the teleporter. Then teleport back to clown island and head to fishing island. You can also go back to winery island to open sky travel to the windmill island at this point too. I totally explored both before going to meet Flora 😂

I remember hopping on that boat while surveying for Dews of Inspiration. And I only just recently unlocked Wishing Woods and haven't explored it much. Does Socko not count as one of the rare animals?

I want to complete the Course objective to catch an 11kg fish and apparently, only the Tulletail can possibly get that large. Any chance you can make a video going over the Whim Fragrances and how they actually change combat? The guides I've seen only talk about how to unlock them, but not how they really change combat. I've switched between some of them, but haven't really seen much change, other than the arc one. There's one that is supposed to shoot continuous balls, but I can't figure out how to do that.
My transition between my outfits takes too long and the fox runs from me TwT I even have them assigned to hot keys and its not enough. Is that time freeze change the only way to do it? how do u do it? which key is that?

If you mean those nodes for getting Essence on the Heart of Infinity, you need ‘Insight’ (collecting stuff exp). You can get it naturally (by collecting plants/animals/bugs) or you can use your stam in the realm of nourishment and ‘pay’ the Fufus to level it for you. Personally, I just paid to finish them off bc it takes way more than I wanted to wait to get naturally and I wanted to start getting essence right away. You’ll also need thousands more to craft the next Miracle suit, but I’d wait until you were done farming all the material to do it.
I am bummed that Flutter Storm doesn't have additional abilities like the Fairy one, I just got it and am feeling so down It's gorgeous, don't get me wrong, but it had sucked my savings COMPLETELY dry and was hoping in some ability

there was a dress which used the swan gazebo swan materials that i crafted! in general though i think ppl are just prepping- you never know when you might suddenly need 15 of a rare once-a-day groomable item for a grindy outfit. but i dont think it's 100% necessary to do, do what's fun for you!
A lot of different sketches. Dawn Fluff goes into making one of the school uniforms, as well as the 3rd dress you get from Kilo. Three of Momo's cloaks designs also take Astral Swan feathers. Bibcoon fluff also goes into making the outfit you get from perfecting the styling challenges leading up to the Sovereign of Cool as well There's probably more, but that's just what I know off the top of my head
i dont get sneaking. if i can just run at it like a idiot Okay if there 4 horses I guess 2 with escape but i still got to brush the other 2 If there is 3 or more by just runing at it i will catch at least 2. That Dawn Fox im just going to run at it and if it does try to escape im still very likely to catch it. Animals are not to much faster than Nikki. Socko is about the only thing that needs sneaking
Sneaking doesn’t take very long so why not just guarantee to get your material? Especially for the higher level materials. The horses for example the pony curls are not a common resource and there are much fewer of them than stallions.
you need to sneak for I think 2 other types of bugs as well, one is the one that rolls the round flower ball, and the other one is a bettle in red colour. But I agree sneaking seems to apply for bug catching only, not much for grooming.

I believe, the swans actually don't get scared by you, so you can run up to them normally. They never seem to care when I'm around them.

Also there are extra bustlefies around if you hit it at night. They hang out around the pillars. You can also ride the bull by jumping on its back.

btw the tulletail is catchable in daytime too, and sometimes on patchwork pete's spot, so not specifically night

Actually at the swan gazebo you can go in the water cause it's not deep
You can go in the water but the grooming icon will not appear, you can only groom them on land.

I think because you only groom it to calm it, so you can ride it, mainly to jump off it to get whimstars. Grooming it does not give any materials...
