Great fun vacationing with the Nelson's! I wonder if they filmed the outside scenes at a lodge close to the Santa Monica Mountains, which were close to the Nelson's real life house in West Hollywood Hills? It was neat to see the '58 Chrysler New Yorker station wagon they used for traveling.
The tall woman with the short husband at the end was Dorothy Ford who has a place in movie memory as the tall lady in the opening scenes in Marilyn Monroes THE SEVEN YEAR ITCH . Nelspn used her several times in Q & H .
Does anyone besides me see the glaring mistake in the plot? I don't think I've noticed a mistake in any other of the episodes. The last conversation Joe and Ozzie had was the Randolphs were headed to her mother's. They never told the Nelsons anything differently. So....how would Ozzie know they were at the lodge for him to call Joe and tell him they had changed their minds about going to the lodge?
Oh Harriet made a huge mistake inviting other couples along before speaking to Ozzie who may have wanted to have a romantic weekend alone with his wife.
Yeah vacation from what..guy doesn't do anything. Can't even pour a cup of coffee. Men were spoiled in these sitcoms. He could fish, bowl, golf.what a life.
He was a disgusting person in every way. He goes up there to that exclusive resort and carries on like a billionaire, bossing everyone around and demanding that they do everything he orders them to. He is so much like Trump that he could have declared himself president.

Honestly. That Clara is an infantile screeching child. Poor Joe. He loves it

We need Thorny to assist !
Assist what?
They must have had high dry cleaning bills...Ozzie and friends always had high class suits on.
Thorny was a fantastic dresser! The best our of all the guys!
Thorny was the best dressed on the show. Definitely not oz..wore those stupid ties
But they always wore dirty socks and underwear. Especially Thorny.
Thorny was the best dressed of all! Beautiful clothes..
@@kosmokritikos9299 sounds like your into dirty socks and underwear!
How many times did oozie say "This just isn't going to work"?
@@kosmokritikos9299 hahaaaa great. Thanks
Who wears a suit to a resort just to change right a way? Lol
An extremely abnormal eccentric.
Ward cleaver. Clare's voice is insufferable the original dingbat
Women were so ladylike back then. The dresses made for some sexy outfits. Harriet was really attractive.
@@kosmokritikos9299 You obviously don't appreciate class.
None of these statements are true.
Before age and cigs and alcohol took their toll.

Claire looks pretty in this episode..at least she changed clothes..
But not socks.
@@kosmokritikos9299😅😆✌️
Harriet said leave her out of it and there goes the jerk, telling Joe "a guy WE know" he's was dishonest alot on these sitcoms
He was a rotten person, always lying to Joe Randolph and them.
Oh Harriet made a huge mistake inviting other couples along before speaking to Ozzie who may have wanted to have a romantic weekend alone with his wife.
Romantic? Ozzie?? 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ozzie needs a vacation from WHAT?
Being normal and average.

@@GinaD46 He was a bandleader and singer before he retired. Wouldn't say that he does nothing
@@kosmokritikos9299 There was nothing "average" about Ozzie Nelson!
@@AdamRasp And an attorney.
Joes a pain.......
Wayyyyyy to many horrible commercials.
I would rather see these retro commercials than the horrible commercials put out today.....
I thought Oz liked fishing. At least he always talked about fishing or went fishing..blah blah
@@MrMenefrego1 I like the show and all the characters except ozzie Nelson. So thanks for being concerned. Lol
It's not funny how dishonest Nelson was. Sad
