Glad to see the comparison. Mine came with the 4.2.2 board and I was excited to see it was 32 bit but then realized it uses HR4988 driver chips instead of Trinamic chips.
Thanks for the video! I just bought a mini E3 v2 so I could more easily add a bl touch among other things, and then found out even the Ender 3 V1’s come with 4.2.2 boards now so I didn’t need to. I was hoping the sound difference would make it worth not returning and it sounds like it absolutely will. Glad someone made this exact comparison.
The ender 3 now indeed comes with a v4.2.2 board, but the stepper drivers are normal non-silent ones. There is another silent versions of the v4.2.2 board for the ender 3 V2.
Is really incredible, can someone explain what technically change in the other board to make the sound going so low? Essentially with a couple of silent fans this would be really silent.
422 only has silent drivers on xy... z and e are normal noisy drivers.. 427 uses silent trinamic on all 4.. my e3max with 422 is far from silent with retracts, and very noticeable clunking in xy moves at low heights while autolevel is compensating by shifting z.. Not, imo, a silent board but quieter than no silent drivers at all i guess
www.thingiverse.com/thing:3417079 Enjoy! I've been looking around for something new recently though. I went direct drive with my printer, so the boom is sort of in the way now.. LOL

The dogs in the background are lauder than the printer LMAO
Tried my best to get them to stay quiet.. but they were having a blast. Lol
@@JavierLopezElMagnate Doggos will be doggos after all
Filipino here, in our country there’s always dogs and roosters in the background
picked up one of these along with a bltouch (in a bundle) sounds like it definitely will be worth it for the sound and ease of use! Excited!

@@mareksvrcina5279 Yeah, the 4.2.7 but I think a lot of people recommends the Mini V2
Just showed up with the same situation and feel relieved that there's a difference lmao. I was like aw man I just blew that cash for a sec there.
I got the 4.2.7 and it makes the motors literally almost completely silent
I’ve had the skr for a while but I realized I kinda miss the motor sound lol
I liked it before. Reminded me of a Terminator. Lol.
I have two 4.2.2 one is silent but the other isn’t. I also have an skr 2.0. Same as one of my 4.2.2

Hi i'm using creality board 4.2.2 replacement for ender 3 v2 (my e3pro board 4.2.2 broken) and sound same exactly as btt skr mini e3 v2.
There are Silent and Loud Versions of the 4.2.2 Board. There is no way to see if you have a loud or silent one until you test it.
Love my BTT SKR Mini E3 V2 :)

Hi! friend could you please get me the .bin of this marlin that works on yours? thank you very much
Can I ask how you got your BLtouch to work with the SKR mini e3 v2 because I have been struggling to get mine to properly work especially the Z offset
Sure. What’s going on with it? What is it doing or not doing?
@@JavierLopezElMagnate there’s something going on with the z off set
Like what’s happening is the bltouch will do it’s thing but the z offset will be higher than the bed by like 2 or so mm and would like to lower it
@@oldpepper5791 adjust the "Z OFFSET" to compensate. where is it set at?
Could I trouble you for a link to that pi camera arm?

@@JavierLopezElMagnate thanks so much!
i believe the stock is a 8 bit, skr mini 32 bit, no?
Creality started shipping their Ender 3 Pros with 32 bit boards last year.
@@JavierLopezElMagnate oh you are right. I just happened to get an old big micro board
Helpful video
jaja por que usaste ese monton de arandelas cuando podias imprimir un separador
