    I don't even skate and still can tell how UNBELIVABLE GOOD you are as teacher / coach.
    You are gifted with 2 hugh Talents:
    The Talent 2 Skate like god!
    The Taltent 2 teach skating like a god!

    I think these tips that show simple techniques to not only warm up but also use as building blocks to trick development or take your skating where ever you want it to go are super valuable. Thanks.

      This approach keeps us motivated as well as safe. It’s hard to feel motivated when you can’t pull off tricks even though we love skateboarding. By re-exploring the fundamentals, we have more fun with less risk. So it’s a win win.

      I dont realize how much strength it takes because ive been doing it for so long. But that's like the top comment is how much energy it takes to pump

      Been skating halfway decently my whole life and I am a personal trainer on the side (I just help friends train for events). People in general have no idea the strength that gets built here. This is all very untapped as far as knowledge and application goes, especially in vert skating.

      Skateboard in general, got me surprised. I used to skate when i las a teenager. Now on 35 im back with some Friends and on THE First day It was like..."WoW! Do you even remember to Feel this breathless And tired back in THE day? Such a workout"

    Always spot on. As a personal trainer and normal sports enthusiast (lol) with 20 years of skating , I can surely say Mitchie knows how to translate fundamental physical, mental, and emotional aspects of coaching to every single skating tip he provides. Really world class, these guides will stand the test of time just watch.

    As a teen without skateparks near or far, we finally built and kept two quarters. I pumped for hours, then days, then after a few weeks added quickturns, then rocks to fakie and rock and rolls. The progression after that came easily adding early grab bs airs and wathever fancy I had. When some friend wanted to start with dropping or airs I strongly recommended to pump and get used to the transition.
    I saw friends ignoring me and slamming hard then going to the basic pumping.
    It is also good cardio.
    I think I'll go back to the basics for a few weeks. Just fun.

    I think these but long form would be even better. Love Mitch’s understanding of skating.
    A video or series of videos of you recommending what order to learn tricks in, and what tricks are needed in order to learn others would be cool. Perhaps a video for each terrain, flat, bowls, mini ramps, vert and parks etc would be super informative. Then how to piece them altogether.

    I love your channel Mitchie! Getting so much out of your vids. I skate at Mona and when my back wheels get near the first crack/seam I start to feel real sketchy and wobbly. Do you reckon getting higher mainly about accumulating time/volume on it?

    • @SKATEiQ
      @SKATEiQ  7 месяцев назад +1
