- The United Arab Emirates welcomed the new year in Dubai with a mesmerizing display of lights, fireworks and music from the world's tallest building, the iconic Burj Khalifa.
The light show paid tribute to front-line health workers amid the coronavirus pandemic and displayed words of hope for 2021.
The UAE has imposed restrictions to slow the spread of COVID-19 on New Year’s Eve, including limiting social gatherings to 30 and under, and masks must be worn.

Not even remotely saying you shouldn’t take precautions when dealing with a new vaccine but obviously there will be a few minor side effects.
Like allergic reactions, provided it’s temporary (1-2 days tops) & minor, it’s nothing to worry about.
And as for the alleged Bells Palsy reaction that’s popping around, speaking from someone who ACTUALLY HAD IT BEFORE prior to the COVID19 pandemic (many of those who bitched about it likely never had it before), it’s actually not that bad due to the fact that many people DO recover from that as it’s usually temporary & not painful. But regardless, it’s still important to go see your doctor & get some form of therapy for it to see if it helps.
Now, if only we could get them to acknowledge the UNPAID workers, the literal slaves, that built modern Dubai in the first place. That would be progress.

How so many of us are so easily taken in by sentimental, empty gestures funded by people who really do not care if they live or even are able to live free, I'll never understand.
"You must be fun at parties", you may be quipping to yourself right about now.
What's the point of bringing any of this up and spoiling the mood?
Because 2021 will likely not get appreciably better, nor will many years following, until we aggressively confront the injustices of the modern world and stop being useful pawns to keep the obscenely wealthy the way they are, at the expense of the natural world.
If we do not rebalance the world politically in a very big way, if we do not confront what is facing us, human civilization is in grave danger of actual collapse by the end of this century.
We're on the cusp of some world-changing things such as AI, universal gate quantum computers at 1000 qubits and up by 2023, nuclear fusion, self-driving electric vehicles... you name it.
But, time is short, and none of these technologies on their own or in combination are sufficient if there is not enforced political will that must come from us, and it must be worldwide. The ruling classes must be *forced* to make money on things other than fossil fuels, and this needs to happen yesterday.
If sufficient political will is never generated, 2020 will seem like 2016 by 2050. Get it?

Now stop fawning over glittery lights from regimes that use slave labor to build giant phallic tributes to their own egos.

Like the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt, so the war in Yemen now is between the Yemeni National Army with the help of Arab countries against the gangs and terrorist groups funded by Iran and Qatar, but what is published to you through the media is the opposite, in order to make the UAE and Saudi Arabia as criminals, for example those Houthi militias forcing people to make weapons store and bombs store in Children's schools and in some of citizen's houses, and later they send missiles from these places and change the place after that when the national forces hit or destroy these weapons stores , those attacks were After the authorities have determined the point of launching these detonators, suddenly the media

And to be honset they have succeeded a lot in doing that because they are malicious and intelligent, And all this is agreed upon between the media and those militias.
